My camry caught fire and the guy who runs the place helped me with the proper documents to release it to insurance

I was having car problems with my 2013 Chevy equinox so I had to get a tow through my insurance , James came and saved the day with his Excellent service and knowledge making sure his tow for my vehicle was going to be a great one. Great guy all around. The owner of Bobs towing should be very proud to have a guy like James thanks for the service read more

I was waiting for this company for a tow for over two hours. When I called back the dispatcher had no idea where the driver was. Do NOT under any circumstances use this service. read more

Just called this outfit to get a quote that I can pass on to my tenants as we decided to enforce restricted parking on our multi-unit dwelling. The woman I spoke to would not provide an estimate, belligerent in attitude, and hung up on me abruptly. I'll take our business elsewhere. read more

Shoutout to JAMES BRANDT--you're amazing!!! I think everyone can agree that if you need to call a tow truck then your day isn't going so great. My boyfriends car was stolen but later found abandoned in middle of a parking lot. No keys and battery was cut. I called so many places until finally landing on Bob's Towing and I'm so grateful I did! The receptionist (wish I remembered her name) was so nice and kept me updated on when a driver would arrive. But their excellent customer service didn't stop there. My tow driver was James and he was awesome!!! Can't say enough good things about this guy--super nice, friendly, hard worker, and an absolute pro at what he does!!! Huge thank you to James and everyone at Bob's Towing who made a very stressful and frustrating situation bearable. I will definitely recommend and use Bob's Towing in the future! read more

This company towed my dad's truck only like a block and charged him $230, which is a complete rip off. Then my dad had to leave his truck with them because he was having problems verifying his registration even though it was valid and the tags were current. When he came to get his truck 2 days after it was initially towed he had to pay $1,000 on top of the $230, for just towing and storing his vehicle. When my father tried to go to his own truck to see the mileage, the owner was very rude to him and would not let him. This was such a nightmare, very rude people and horrible customer service. Maybe the prices could've been explained better and the situation could've overall went better if the people weren't so rude and unwelcoming. He also demanded cash up front which is very unprofessional. read more

CHP called them to tow my bike last year, we arrived before 5 and they couldn't get my case done untill 5:05 and they charged me a late fee for around 100~200 bux. I.would.never.come.back.again. read more

I used Bob's Towing to fix a large dent in my truck. They did an extremely good job at a fair price and I highly recommend them. My truck looked better than new, you couldn't tell there was ever a dent and they even washed it! For the people complaining about how they ran out of gas and it was so expensive... A - It's completely irresponsible to run out of gas with a gas station every 1/4 mile. B - Supply and demand read more

James, the tow truck driver, is top flight. I have a classic car that died - a blocked fuel filter or fuel pump issue and I needed to have the car returned home. He is very experienced and while hooking me up at the rear axle he noticed a separate potential issue that needed to be checked into by my mechanic. He didn't have to say a lick about it. He cares. He took a couple pictures of the issue with my camera. Everything was smooth and I had complete confidence that my car was in great hands. read more

Avoid these f*cken cons. I called road side assistance and Bobs towing shows up. Tow driver dragged his ass loading my truck and billed me an extra hour of labor. My road side service provider refused to cover additional cost so I was stuck with the bill. Next time I will refuse any service from these cons. read more

This company charges $10 per gallon for gasoline if you are out of gas. This is in addition to the delivery fee which is paid for by GEICO. This is outrageous. Do not use this company if you are out of gas. I have put in a complaint to GEICO as well since GEICO did not know what they are charging. read more

First I was told it is about 90 mins, then when 90 mins passed I got a call saying need to wait for another 60 mins. When the driver came he said my battery is dead, and I don't need to tow the car to the dealer and he said he will come back to help for install the battery with just few bucks installation fee. Then he got us signed the tow service completed so that he can get the payment from the insurance company for the tow service. And then he left, and I never heard from the company again. I called him, messaged him, no reply. .......... I hate to leave this kind of feedback but it is a nightmare. Will never choose this company. read more

I had an accident where a drunk driver hit my car and another car that was parked on the side ofy friends house. I called insurance and they sent me here. He was also an awesome guy with a funny personality. I really appreciate his help read more

Not that I ever have wanted to be towed.... I was happy Bobs was there to help out. I had a flat tire with a car that had so spare. They were late but I can tell the driver, James, had been at it all night. He was professional, honest, and most importantly fast at getting my car loaded and drop off at the shop. He was careful with my vehicle as he could tell it was important to me and an overall rough night. James was a real trooper and I appreciated the service I received from him and the towing company in general. read more

Bobs towing was dispatched through my insurance provider (nationwide). James came out and was super thorough with taking pictures of the car and reviewing damage pre-tow. I felt comfortable letting my car go with him. I asked if he knew what the problem might be and he provided insight which was super helpful. It's comforting having someone tell you what the problem might be when you don't have a clue and all the lights are on in your car. Thank you James and I would recommend bobs towing as they came out super quick on a holiday weekend! read more

I called this towing company through my insurance for my Step -Son Car 2015 Ford Mustang. The appointment was at 9:00 they show up at 9:35 they didn't bother to call me and said they are coming 30 minutes late. The guy who was driving the tow truck with long beard was very rude and he was asking me to steering the car and was asking me for help all the time. I think they have to be more professional and not asking the customer too much for help. Also, I told them to bring air because my car need it and they ignored that. I will not recommend this towing company if there were an option to write Zero Start I would do it! read more

Came home my truck is been towed come to find Bob's towing had it. They couldn't give me a price until I paid for the release of the truck how pathetic I asked him several times to give me a budget number He said ican't do that what the hell kind of business is this I would never call them after this bullshit. read more

I got a tow and James Brant did an excellent job. He was very careful. I was very pleased. He's was the best at his job. Thank you James.

Unfortunately I have to leave a really bad review for this service. Sorry, but not sorry since I requested a tow through my auto insurance, and the requested tow NEVER CAME after waiting the 75-85 minute estimated time which is already a long time to wait. After that time was up, I had no correspondence with anyone...insurance or the tow shop. Desperate, I called the towing company after waiting 80 minutes to request an estimate since I had 20 minutes before the mechanic shop I needed a ride to 2 miles away was closing. While the lady on the phone was polite, she said that the towing guys were taking care of a police call and that there was no one else available to take me. I didn't have many options so I said sure I'll wait. Well, guess that didn't work for them or they didn't like my desperate tone since I had my request cancelled after 15 minutes, and my auto insurance sheepishly called to tell me I was assigned a new towing service, with no explanation why Bob's bailed on me. The second tow wait also took an hour + in addition to what I had waited for before. I waited 3 hours for a really nice tow guy who helped me out, but seriously, Bob's Towing? Nah. They'll ghost you and not say anything. Well, enjoy this review! read more

James Brandt is a lifesaver. He was professional, super helpful and nice.

Towing guy arrived promptly, determined we didn't need a tow (car battery was discharged and our charger wasn't working) and helped us prevent future occurrences by showing us what was discharging the battery and how to properly stow our battery-charger (hint: don't rest it on concrete garage floor). As I got referred to them via insurance roadside assist, I paid nothing and got my car back in working order without a trip to the dealership. read more

I hope you never have to deal with bobs towing. Worst experience ever. Our car was towed and when we tried to pick it up they refused to recognize valid registration wanting to keep the car for another. They would not let us get registration out of car and would not release the car without it and would not look in car. We were forced call the police who were able to get the car returned after 1 hr of wasted time. One guy who finally released the car was OK but the first person we dealt with was incompetent and nasty read more

Awesome awesome awesomeThey were good they went took pictures with my kiddos with the tow truck and made their day.

THIS COMPANY EXPLOITS THE VULNERABILITY OF THE CLIENT after a traumatic event. We had the most unpleasant experience with Bob's Towing. My son had his first car accident which resulted in his car being towed by Bob's Towing. He was quite shaken by the experience, so when the police asked if he was going to call a tow truck himself or if he would like them to call one, he said yes thinking it was a nice gesture and not being in the right state of mind to search for one. Our son was not given any information on process, fees, etc. and they just took his car to their yard. The next morning my husband went with my son to Bob's Towing and was told they were closed and to come back on Monday. The car was towed Friday evening and because we returned on Monday per their instructions it was a 4 day charge of $95 per day, they use calendar days. Also their tow fees are 2.5 times more expensive than other companies, we recently had a different tow in Campbell for a longer tow distance and a more difficult extraction of the care for $85; and Bob's charged $235. Their communications were poor and would not let us get near the car to extract our content from it. In retrospect, they treated us like criminals and as if the car was impounded. Overall, it was a terrible, humiliating, and sad experience. read more

Bobs towing is an amazing towing company, I have gotten James (employee #45) every single time I have needed a tow and he's treated my car Like his own little baby and has given great and very respectful service each time. James has gone out of his way every time to make sure that my car wasn't damaged more than it already was when any other person with less experience may not have had the knowledge to do so. I'm going to request him every tiime because I've never had tow service that I was happier with. He definately made my morning less stressful and I was able to get by without having to go to the shop. Highly recommend! If I would give him 100 starts I would!! Thanks again :) read more

I am so happy with Bobs. We waited 4 hours for AAA to help us and finally decided to give up and go with Bobs! Maria the dispatcher was so lovely and sent James the tow truck driver to us right away! They were so helpful that we would use them again any day! Thank you Maria and James!! read more

Pathetic !!!! I called my Roadside assistance and they sent Bob's towing service only to waste an hour of my time and tell me to get someone else. They could not tow my vehicle. "The Towing professional" was asking me well I don't know how you are going to do it? Are you kidding me ? I replied well you guys are a professional towing company I hope. I would assume you've seen different towing cases, more so then me. Why would you brush me off and ask me to find someone else??? Horrible experience never again read more

Our radiator leaked in the middle of the 17 highway and James Brandt happened to see us as he was towing another vehicle. The man shortly came back to rescue us. So me and my wife were in a three car accident that was totally someone else's fault. The CHP let us go with no ticket but said our insurance couldn't tow the car from the freeway so bobs towing was called by them. Upon arrival it took some guy almost an hour to hook it up. He said that I can pay to have it taken to my house but it is 215 an hour and I will be charged for 2 hours which made no sense. So he said if we take it to the yard you can just leave it there and pay 300 plus 85 for overnight, I said fine because I was tired and wanted to go home. The next day I call up the yard and some lady answers the phone in the most unprofessional tone I've ever heard. She tells me to bring registration and ID or she can't release the car to me. It was almost as if she automatically assumed I didn't have it, I said that's fine, it's in the car. When we get there the same lady who was on the phone, looks at me with a rude demeanor and days can I help you. I explained I was there for my car and gave her my license, I told her the registration is on the window because the car is new. She sends her boss a nice middle Eastern man who retrieves my registration from the window. She looks at her boss with a smug face and says what am I gonna do with this. I told her that the CHP used the same paper for registration last night and there was no problem. She looks at me and says yeah but it's not the actual one, do you have the original. I said that's all the dealership gave me and it clearly had my name on it. She looks at her boss and he says it's fine we can use that. At that point she had a look of disappointment and said 300$ dollars and then asked me, "how are you gonna get it out of here, it can't be driven. I told her I have a tow truck waiting out front to tow it to my house. She looked even more mad and then my tow truck driver walks in, she immediately pre judged his jeans and t-shirt look and said are you even licensed where is your towcard. He said I didn't bring it but the boss once again said it's fine. She finally gave me my receipt and I said nothing. At this point I'm feeling like she just wants to just keep my car and is being extremely uncooperative for no apparent reason. My car wasn't impounded and I did nothing wrong and didn't even get a ticket. I felt a real lack of respect from these people and she was very unprofessional. She made it as difficult as she could for me and I don't know why. I don't recommend this place to anyone. This place is trash because you lady at the counter treated me like trash. You need to evaluate your attitude and be a professional when it comes to dealing with people. Totally disgusted read more
