WINNING DIAGNOSIS-RADIATORLAND OF SC at almost $500 less than AGNEW AUTOCARE. C'mon Agnew Autocare. Stop ripping people off!

WARNING. Unless you got a nail or screw in your tire, RUN. They are OVERCHARGING anyone who doesn't do their due diligence. I posted 4 photos of estimates. HARD EVIDENCE. Owner, Don, is a crook. Read other 1-2 star reviews; I am not the first to bring this up. BUYER BEWARE. If you don't mind paying for work you don't need with parts you definitely don't need at prices you DEFINITELY need to look up (www.rockauto.com) to believe how much they are bending people over, you gotta try Don at Agnew Autocare. He'll look you dead in the eye and work that Viet accent which led even me to almost believe that I needed a 300$ radiator instead of my perfectly fine new one, when I told him it was the thermostat. I'm Viet as well.

Don is awesome! My family has been going to Agnew Auto for years! I come here for my oil changes, smog checks, brake replacements, and overall maintenance. Don is so kind and personable (I started taking my parents cars as soon as i started driving in 2009 and he still remembers who they are and asks how they're doing ^_^) The prices are great, they have honest and reliable service, the staff is kind, the wait times are reasonable considering how busy they are. Definitely recommend!

I asked for info and guy seemed to listen and he heard me out but all of a sudden he's telling me he can't help me what was the point of him trying to help me if he can't help me makes no sense just had to let that be known all I was asking for was a price range

5 minutes of just looking at your car will get you pay $74.

If you want to save money pls dont go to this place! He will assume you know nothing about car maintenance and think you're a dumb person. I will never bring my car back in that place. He did the oil change and put conventional motor oil on my truck. I ask him about synthetic oil and he said conventional is recomended by manufacture. He overcharge and act like he's doing the right thing making you feel like he's knowlegeable and you know very little about cars. Im surprised that this business has been in the industry for years. Customer service is pretty poor also. If you want to find out in a hard way and paying too much then i would recommend try it yourself. but i just want to help people not to get wasting money with this shop. After i left his shop brought it to my old mechanic and get a estimate for freon refill $108. And they used good type of oil. Not a conventional one. I think base on my experience this business became too complacent about what they do.

Oil change service requested and completed in a day. Competitive pricing, and good service. I would go again for oil change.

I bring all my cars here for regular maintenance like oil changes, brake fluids, differential fluid and coolant fluids maintenance, brake pad and rotor replacements. They've also handled bigger repairs such as an axle seal leak, valve cover gasket leak, and fixing warped rotors. Everything has always been done right the first time. What really sets this place apart is that Anthony does most of the work himself, and after the job is done, you hear directly from him about what was done and why. He's very polite and easy to talk to, and you never feel like you're being ripped off. The quality is as good as--or better than--the dealership, using original Toyota parts, but without dealership prices. No middleman, no customer service rep--just straight answers from the person actually working on your car. He also documents major repairs with before-and-after photos and will even check in a day or two later to make sure everything's driving well. Most importantly, they're honest, reliable, and trustworthy. I've never had an issue in the 10+ years I've been coming here. If you're looking for a shop you can actually trust, I highly recommend TLS Auto Service.

I had issues with my CRV and it started making a weird noise that was coming from the wheel well. I took it to two different mechanics. One said it was the brakes. So I paid to have it changed but the noise was still there. The next mechanic said it was an alignment issue so...I paid to have THAT done and the noise was still there. Finally, I heard from a close friend that he knew a guy that could fix it. Took it to Winston and he diagnosed it to be a wheel barring issue. If I didn't get it fixed soon, then it would have caused more damage. Winston fixed it for a good price and the noise went away. Now, I take all my cars and he gets it fixed and at a fair price.

Even though Vu was single handed and getting multiple phone calls, Vu was still very patient in discussing repair options. Dropped off my car around 9:30am and got a call back around 2:30pm saying repair was completed. Instead of having a couple of sensors replaced (~$300), Vu said he had found and replaced a rat chewed cable connector (~$60) that resolved check engine light. He charged me for cable connector and honest labor, and car is running fine again. I know where I will be taking my car for any future repairs.

I had a strange experience here…read more My 2018 Honda Accord started acting up, occasionally misfiring, so I brought the vehicle in. Because it was intermittent, and not occurring when the vehicle was at the shop, they said they couldn't find anything and gave it back to me. The next day, it started acting up again, but worse with warning lights lighting up all over the dashboard, so I brought the car back. This time they were able to determine that the number three cylinder had misfired, they removed the spark plug and coil and replaced them. The car seemed to be fine... for a day. And the same symptoms returned. I take the car back to the shop, a mechanic, who was talking to his girlfriend the whole time on the phone, was assigned to look at it. He's there for at least 25 minutes, trying to figure out what's wrong and continue a conversation with his lady friend. They determine that it's the number three cylinder again and they remove the spark plug and show it to me. And there is damage to the spark plug, evidence of corrosion. So they take a scope, look down into the engine and come back with the bad news... Broken head gasket. $3500 to replace. The owner of the shop recommended not to replace it because the engines were faulty to begin with on that particular model. My question is this: if a replacement spark plug was able to be corroded within a day, wasn't the original spark plug they took out on the number three cylinder also corroded? Why didn't they test for water leakage then? Seems to me they wanted to make $700 very quickly, even though they knew probably the whole time it was a head gasket issue. That's why I question the ethics of this place. And I will not take my new car there for repair.
