Back at one of my favorite mochi donut store. I wanted something sweet today after dinner, so I came here to get some mochi donuts. One of my favorite flavor is Ube and they still had some tonight. Hurray! I end up getting two Ube donuts, one pebble, one Oreo, and one Cotton Candy with a cute butterfly on top. The mochi is soft and chewy. My son and I can finish it in minutes. You can also toast it in the oven if you take it home, and it would be nice and warm to eat too. Overall, I enjoy the mochi donuts here.
I got a strawberry matcha latte and it had large chunks of ice in every sip, which made it hard to enjoy. It was obviously not blended enough. For $10 I would expect better! Besides that the cup it came in was very cute. We ordered delivery through a third party app and some of the drinks arrived spilled because the shop did not provide drink carriers.
Looking for boba, saw this place and went in. Cute place with the aesthetic and pink everywhere. Loved the easy ordering process via kiosk but it just needed to be a bit higher as it was quite low for proper ergonomics. Got the strawberry smoothie and pineapple refresher. The strawberry smoothie was too liquidly and not slushie like. The pineapple refresher was good and the boba was decent. Ample parking and great for pink theme pics.
Great looking shop. I was looking for a tea latte and they do not offer one with real milk, only non dairy creamer so I did not grab a drink. They also have mochi donuts. Good parking. Nice customer service. Please come and create your own adventure.
Another happy experience. I had an out of town gathering with long time friends. So I picked up a couple dozen donuts. Jatinder has the best customer service as always. She assisted me quickly and efficiently. She's always friendly and pleasant. Well, the donuts were a hit. One box was done in 5mins. Texture and taste on point. Still my number one boba and mochi donut establishment!
21001 San Ramon Valley Blvd Ste E4 San Ramon, CA 94583 I saw a familiar sight at a San Ramon shopping center the other night. I spotted the signage for Bober Tea and it's bright pink decor. Only one thought popped into my mind.....Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I only knew one other Bober Tea shop, that's the (now closed) location in Alameda. I'm guessing this San Ramon shop has different owners because they had better service and pricing. I walked in and got immediately hit with the bright pink decor. The place has a mirrored ceiling, and looked like a old school dance floor! I was expecting to have to stumble thru the screens of the ordering kiosk, but no.....the lady at the counter took my order. I just asked for a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. She asked if I wanted to add a mochi donut. Hey smooth suggestive selling! I added a chocolate donut with sprinkles. Very fast service at 830pm. The coffee was cool and refreshing, with just the right amount of ice. The mochi donut was soft and chewy. Not bad for late in the evening. I will surely return if I'm in the area again.
I Absolutely love Bober! It's so gorgeous inside and the menu is expansive. Bober brews their tea 2 hours each day, and stir fry their boba. It's delicious!! I love that their milk tea doesn't stain my teeth because there's no artificial flavors or powders used (: The service is timely and efficient. My go to place for boba, if you haven't tried it, you must!
Came on a weeknight and the place was empty, which was nice - meaning that seating was available. When you walk in, the Instagrammable walls catch your eye and it's a fun spot for pictures. At the kiosk, ordered the Coconut Coco Cloud. There was an option to add on a mochi donut for $1, so ordered that, too! My order was ready within minutes of me paying! The drink was not bad, but nothing special. The cup looked a little small compared to other Bober Teas I have been to. Not sure if it's a new size across all locations or if it's just this location. The mochi donut was good. My friend and I sat down inside at one of the tables and finished our drinks and our mochi donuts. One interesting thing is, that when we left and got into our cars, we both noticed that our hair and clothes kind of had a smell to it as if we came from a BBQ place (like a K-BBQ). We didn't have that smell before going to Bober Tea. It might be bad ventilation or something from the fried stuff Bober Tea offers.
Better than Burger King for sure. I got a chicken burger. It didn't disappoint and for a great price
The only thing I can say is the Oreo mochi donut was good, and the presentation with the cute bear cup lids was adorable but that's about it. The taro milk tea just tasted like plain milk, and the boba was just okay. The lychee slush was absolutely terrible, it tasted like pure syrup. We ended up tossing it after only two sips because my husband didn't want to complain. To top it off, we both ended up with upset stomachs for the rest of the night. Definitely not worth the stop.
Stopped by here when we were charging. Excited to try this place since the rating looked pretty good. We walked straight over after we started to charge, but the door was locked. We see the lights on and mochi donuts displayed. So we called and no one answered. We really wanted to try this place so we walked around the area and went back to check again in about 20 mins. Again, no one was there. We tried to call again, no answer. We went back to the car and right before we were about to leave, we called one more time. This time someone picked up so we were able to try. Walked back to order. Would have been nice if they had a sign or some indicator they were out and would be back. The ambiance is super cute. Tons of pink hearts on the wall like a valentine explosion. The stuffies they give in a surprise cup similar to Ume Tea is super cute, but it would cost another $4.95 for the cup which is not worth it according to my daughter. We ordered through the automated area, which are two wall systems. The price shown is for a small, which is already costly. To get a normal size which is a large we had to pay an extra $0.99. We ordered the Signature Milk Tea. They coat the cup with house-made brown sugar syrup, stir-fried brown sugar boba, and black milk tea. They top it with cheese cream and brulee'd brown sugar. The stir-fried boba was a bit too hard for me. My daughter liked it. I prefer bouncy, chewy boba. Also, the drink is good, but a bit too sweet. For the cost, it was not worth it for me. We still prefer Feng Cha.
Stopped here for some mochi donuts and a drink. We ended up picking out Banana pocky, almond, strawberry, chocolate, cookies and cream, matcha flavored donuts and I got the Brown Sugar Matcha Latte. The donuts were pretty good very soft with a light flavor. The brown sugar matcha latte was ok wasn't bad but I personally wouldn't get it again. The service could have been a bit better I was the only person standing in the establishment no one was there to greet me or ask if I had any questions, I put in my order using the kiosks they have by the counter and waited a good 15 minutes even after ringing the bell for service, eventually someone came up front made my drink within a couple of minutes and boxed up the donuts and sent me on my way. The establishment itself is really cute, they have it decorated for those who enjoy taking photos/selfies and was extremely clean.
Service was quick. Ambiance is beautiful. I especially like the green tea donut. Will come again.

I have been to the Pleasanton and Walnut Creek locations and this Bober is just as aesthetically pretty as the others. The flower wall and pink hearts make this place great for taking photos. The drinks come with cute bear lids. I love the pink pear drink as it is sweet enough without being overbearing. I really enjoyed the mochi donuts that are made fresh daily. The frosting was not overly sweet and they were nice and chewy. I also love that I was greeted right when I entered and asked if I needed any help with ordering on the kiosk. The boba is different than most shops as they have the regular honey boba or stir fried which you can see right in the display window. So glad they opened up a location in San Ramon! Balls on balls. Parking: in a plaza so lots of parking Order: have to order on the tablet If you do a tea and donut combo, tea comes out first then someone else helps with your donuts. Tea: taro with boba. The fried boba had more chew , didnt mind it. Asked for 25 sweet still felt too sweet imo. Maybe it is bc of the boba too. Donuts: my fav of the three was the black sesame, perfect balance of sweet to dough. Fruity pebbles, not bad but too sweet for me Biscoff, other than the cookie, the icing on top didnt scream biscoff to me. Maybe a crumble of biscoff would make it better. This is such a cute place. Very pink and decorative inside. I ordered the mung bean pandan latte. It was so good. I left out the boba and the cream cheese on top and it was still slightly sweeter than I am use to, but I liked it regardless. The owner mentioned that this drink takes the longest to make as she makes it with real mung beans which take awhile to cook in a batch each day beforehand. This may be why the sugar level cannot be adjusted. She was very nice and service was excellent. They have a variety of mochi donuts too. So hard to choose between all the delicious flavors. Some had stronger flavors than others. Grab a box for a get together, party, or just for your family. Great presentation too! I really like this place and will be back. read more

Came here for their grand opening and their interior was so pretty. We ordered two drinks and got two more from the BOGO. I wish BOGO was more clear- it was only for specific drinks and you choose after ordering which I found really confusing. We ended up with four drinks which were all pretty sweet. Oolong milk tea with stir-fried boba- the drink wasn't as sweet (at 25% sweetness) but the boba made it really sweet. It had a strong tea flavor though it tasted more like assam than oolong to me. The mung bean pandan latte and the coconut taro latte were both REALLY sweet. I also got the wintermelon milk tea from the BOGO and it was more milky and sweet than I'd prefer. Really wanted to like this place but the drinks are too sweet for me. read more

I discovered Bober tea today as I went to get my coffee from Starbucks. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome! I ordered 3 mochi donuts and they were delicious. I want wait to come back for a drink! I sure am hoping they stay opening early at 8 am! They'd be the first boba place in the area to open early!! read more

There are Yelps for Bober Tea and Mochi Dough at this location, but it's actually a Bober Tea X Mochi Dough store. Someone brought a dozen Mochi Dough to a party and I was hooked. They're so good! The doughnuts are a little "stiffer" if that makes any sense. The best thing is that they are more fried and crunchy on the outside, reminding me of old-fashioned doughnuts. Since it's a chain store, I came to this one since it's closest to me. Finally got the mochi doughnuts I've been craving mmm... We also tried the drinks while we were here. The signature (brown sugar milk black tea with boba) was very good. Very milky with crunchy sugar bits, and the boba tasted like authentic stir fried black sugar boba as advertised, perfect texture. The mango jasmine tea was great too, flowery tea with fresh thick mango purée. The only con is probably that they don't really have any of those smoothie or slush drink for kids, which is actually fine by me. Recommend trying on a Tuesday when you can get $1 doughnut with drink purchase! read more

My sister brought me here and I loved walking into this pretty in pink establishment. So pretty inside. Made our order at the kiosk. Customer service was really friendly. I ordered a regular milk tea in a surprise cup. Lovely sanrio surprise it was! There's lots of parking since it's in a plaza. I will be coming here more often for sure! read more

So amazing customer service is amazing they are so sweet and help me figure out which drink to get every time. Would rate six stars if I could definitely try their boba!! I like mine bitter and the 25% is perfect. Love the aesthetic and vibe as well :) they have locations in downtown Walnut Creek and Martínez as well. The lemon pepper popcorn chicken could have been a little less crispier and more lemon peppery but everything else was amazing. read more

Been here a couple of times. It's definitely cute but the other locations are bigger and cuter. Workers aren't that friendly either. Drinks are decent. This is based off of delivery order on Valentine's Day. Really disappointed. We ordered the mixed dozen mochi donuts box. But they were all hard, dry, and burnt. I don't get how they would even serve something that's not edible. Where's the mochi texture to the donuts?? I prefer mochiholic better for drinks and mochi donuts. read more

This review is specifically for the Surprise cup, for the holidays! This time I got the Brown Sugar Matcha Latte flavor in this limited edition Surprise cup for the holidays! The flavor is probably my favorite/go to at Bober which I enjoyed, I did 50% sweetness this time and for my personal preference I think I may do 75% or more next time! This cup was just $3.95 extra from the regular size cup, which I think is worth it cause amount of the drink is about the same but additionally you get the surprise prize! In mine I got a hello Kitty key chain plush which is very cute and pretty good quality for the price! Kinda a fun thing to see what you might get! The cup is very sturdy which is nice, I'd been to a different boba chain that did surprise cups but they weren't quiet as sturdy and the prize in this one was definitely a lil bigger then that one! I was still able to easily drink from it after I took out the prize because it's so sturdy. I would still be careful when pulling it out just in case! There is a separate compartment for the drink part so you shouldn't have any leaks from your drink. I love Bober Tea, I've been to the San Ramon Bober many times! I go to many of the locations in the Bay Area and Sacramento. I've been coming to Bober since they only had the Sacramento store! The San Ramon one is different then the other locations I've been to since it has these cute hearts all over the walls giving ya a lil different vibe then some of the other locations do! Lots of seating available as well! The drinks always taste amazing and come in such cute cups, also a very aesthetically pleasing place to take pictures and videos! The staff is always nice too! We got matcha, sesame, ube, cinnamon, strawberry. The ambiance was very nice, clean and pink. I felt like I was in a palace upon walking into the building. Will definitely be coming back! read more

We love Bober Tea! The mochi donuts are so yummy - some of our favorites are the Black Sesame and "Dirty" Taro (Oreo). We also always add one or two of the rotating flavors as well to try something new and they never disappoint. The staff is super friendly and gives great service. Last time we were in Bo took care of us and helped us pick out some new flavors to try that suit our taste and preferences. Boba is pretty good! It is a lot, but it's totally worth it. I recommend sharing the big bottle, it is a bit sweet but I think you can adjust that. You have to order yourself (there's a kiosk and the staff isn't able To help much as there's no service option). But the inside is like a PINK galore! Everything is pink, floral and BEAUTIFUL. definitely a photo-op with perfect boba in the side. read more
Im usually more of a fruit tea type of girly but decided to venture out this weekend. I ordered the brown sugar tea and loved that it was not overly sweet. It had just enough to nip that sweet craving but not so overwhelming that it gives you a tummy ache. My one complaint is that there was no one at the front and can only order from the computer screen. Still super cute space and obsessed with all the pink! read more

Went here with my family today. The woman working was so kind and patient as we were figuring out what to order. She even offered a little plushie to our baby which was SO nice. The ambiance was SOOO cute we just HAD to take family pictures. This is one of the cutest boba shops I've seen. The drinks were good and the donuts were good! I finally decided to give this Bober tea another shot after I went when they first opened about a year ago and had a poor experience. It seems there are potentially new owners now? Or managers? Not sure, but I've been back a few times in the past couple of months and have also walked past it a number of times and I seem to see a man and/or a woman working who I had never seen before. They are extremely friendly and nice people, a polar opposite from the woman who seemed to be the manager when I visited a year ago. The interior is pretty much the same minus a grad feature wall I saw around graduation time. The drinks are a lot better, were not just cups full of ice, and they seem to have better mochi donut availability even on their $1 mochi donut with drink purchase Tuesdays! I'm really glad I gave them another chance and the staff seems to have upgraded tremendously I'll be back again I'm sure. read more
Friendly and fast. Mochi donuts are delicious, if somewhat pricey. However, on Tuesdays you can get one for $1.00 with your drink order. (One per drink order.) Decor is the typical for this chain pink explosion. I didn't love my drink though because the green tea tasted over-brewed and therefore a little bitter. I also don't like that you cannot customize the amount of ice in your drink like you can at other chains. I'll come back, but stick to non-tea drinks. read more

First time here. We live 2 minutes away and my wife loves trying new boba places. To get a taste of what our standard is, we love Happy Lemon and Boba Bliss. Food - their drinks are decent to great. The Cookies and Cream Brown Sugar drink is SOOO GOOD!! The taste is dynamic. Really sweet. Loved it. The Chizu Pink Pear Tea was like a 5/10. Too yogurty and tart. Their Mochi doughnuts were good. Not mindblowingly good. The best one was the Biscoff. The butter cream frosting is way better than the normal vanilla frosting on the birthday cake flavor. The funnel cake and churro flavors were the next best. I don't like matcha, but they have a strawberry Pocky stick on top, and that combo of flavors was actually really good. The employees are very nice and helpful. I just wish they would have a menu posted behind the counter. Unless you're looking it up online, you have to wait until you get to the self order kiosk. So a lot of people are spending your time shopping on the kiosks, making the line super long. Really pretty pink flowers and light signage. Good for IG posts if you're into that! read more

Are your Mochi donuts gluten free?
No they are not, they contain rice AND wheat flour.
When is the grand opening? The official website says March 2023 and IG doesn't show anything yet.
Do you sell Mochi donuts? What are the flavors for the weekend?
We will have mochi donuts as soon as we open! Our flavors will rotate every 2-3 weeks, but we will always have our staple flavors of Taro, Black Sesame, Funnel Cake and Plain. We will update and post our new flavors on our Instagram.
