Refreshers were gross tasted like straight syrup. The brown sugar milk tea had no flavor. So disappointed

First time here. We live 2 minutes away and my wife loves trying new boba places. To get a taste of what our standard is, we love Happy Lemon and Boba Bliss. Food - their drinks are decent to great. The Cookies and Cream Brown Sugar drink is SOOO GOOD!! The taste is dynamic. Really sweet. Loved it. The Chizu Pink Pear Tea was like a 5/10. Too yogurty and tart. Their Mochi doughnuts were good. Not mindblowingly good. The best one was the Biscoff. The butter cream frosting is way better than the normal vanilla frosting on the birthday cake flavor. The funnel cake and churro flavors were the next best. I don't like matcha, but they have a strawberry Pocky stick on top, and that combo of flavors was actually really good. The employees are very nice and helpful. I just wish they would have a menu posted behind the counter. Unless you're looking it up online, you have to wait until you get to the self order kiosk. So a lot of people are spending your time shopping on the kiosks, making the line super long. Really pretty pink flowers and light signage. Good for IG posts if you're into that! read more

It's very cute inside love the decor. No one greeted us as we walked in and we were the only customers (my only complaint). So we placed our order at the self serve kiosk and I ordered the Pandan latte, it was very refreshing! Pandan is my favorite, if you haven't tried it you must. Its immensely pink and cute in here. Great music, the perfect level, not too loud, immaculate vibes. Mochi donuts are what I came for, super friendly staff, they mentioned that the flavors change every two weeks and that they update on their instagram (@mochidoughsanramon and @boberteausa). Now they mentioned their signature, which is milk tea with their stir fried boba (boba cooked in brown sugar syrup) in a cup coated with brown sugar, topped off with their house made "chizu" cream, and brulee'd right in front of you, super aesthetic! Be sure to dress up and bring friends as there is great decorations here for selfies! 8/24/23 It's okay. The actual drink was kinda sub-par. I got some Asian purply pear drink, and it lacked flavor, but at least was somewhat fruity enough to be drinkable. The boba though was terrible--usually I'm complaining it's too hard after ice is added but in this case it was SUPER mushy. I also got a pastry--the Japanese cake they usually shape as fish traditionally, and it was stuffed with cheese. I think it was okay. Not really anything to complain about, but it didn't taste as good of a combo as you'd think it would. Also had a weird thing with the 2 cashiers at closing. I placed my order, and 15min later they tell me that it's not done and they're closed. I'm like okay, but you took my money and I stood there by the window for 15min and you want to tell me to leave now??? Hell no. I woke up at 5:30am to drive to work, and then now it's 8pm after working all day and heading back home, and you're telling me you can't stand staying after 15min???..... They have some pretty yummy Vietnamese coffee, probably some of the best I've tried here in the tri-valley area thus far. I ordered the Pink Haze and it is so addicting. It's not too strong, perfectly sweet, and the salted cream takes it up a notch! Although I was on the hunt for Vietnamese coffee and not boba, I added it in there and very glad I did. The high quality stir-fried boba that accompanies our usual signature milk tea was the main reason we did not mind traveling 19 miles to get it from this store. However, on this occasion, the boba we received was old and hard, giving the impression that it had been refrigerated. I understand that it was pretty late when we walked in but it is important for the store to maintain the freshness and high quality of their stir-fried boba as they have in the past, or they could just have informed us that they were out of the fresh boba. I am really disappointed and have this uncertainty about returning for a similar experience in the future :( or just don't get boba at all if you don't see it in the frying pan. read more

Don't order a plain latte here. Clearly not enough staff. Several people cut in front of us after already having our orders placed insisting they get their mochi donuts that instant before us. Took 20 minutes for the staff to free up and make the latte. The staff should be prioritizing on a first come first serve basis! We also saw the milk steamer overflow and spill all over the counter. This Bober is located in the Gateway Center. This is a quieter area/store, so it was pretty chill inside. It is nice that they actually open way earlier than most boba shops, especially for the area. You may order through their kiosks inside their store. Like all of their other stores, it is very aesthetically pleasing and pink inside, the ambience is definitely IG worthy. I ordered the Chizu Mango Green Tea and Jasmine Milk Tea, both with boba. Their mango drink was good, it has a good creaminess from the house-made cheese cream over their mango puree green tea, even though the mango was a tad sour, it was decent. The milk tea was on the more floral side which I liked, but the boba had a strong sugary taste to it, which altered the drink a lot. read more

I got the brown sugar crème brulee milk tea and that was ahead ah-mazing! also got 3 mochi doughnuts: churro(so fire), cookies and cream (classic), and the funnel cake (bury me with these please 'n thx) they also have a valentine's day event going on with guessing the amount of gummy bears in a container and even decorated valentines boxes! the store is themed so cute will be coming back again -i'm not sure if there's a way to order a small on the kiosk maybe i missed it, would've preferred a small milk tea over a large but loved it nonetheless read more
