Excellent experience! I celebrated my birthday with family in March. All a great set up, great food.

Easy to find right off the US60! Plenty of parking and if you like cute home made donuts they have them. The food is good, nice flavorful barbecue. Service has always been very good when ever I brought someone here. Not very load and nosy which is nice if you want to talk. Prices are average for a good restaurant. read more

If your accustomed to good BBQ, you won't find it here. If you start with a larger size slab as they do, it needs to be cooked longer so the fat cooks off leaving firm tasty meat. I'm not saying the ribs were not cooked, just not long enough, leaving pink, fat saturated meat. Slimy. Maybe it's a style? Walnut coleslaw side sounded interesting, was disappointed to get some pretty regular coleslaw with a few nuts sprinkled on top. Not even creative enough to mix them in. Cornbread was good not near enough to carry the meal. read more

Always a great meal and impeccably great service at Bobby Qs. What better place to bring a friend from out of state. Highly recommended!

This place is beyond what we expected! I chose this place for a family dinner, made reservations through yelp, and what a treat! Bobby Q is a spot to go if you want great food and amazing service. Ashlynn was our server, or a manager- if not she should be. She guided us through the menu and was super attentive even though she was very busy. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was killer! Super moist, tender and juicy. Highly recommend. Come here and ask for Ashlynn! read more

We met our friends for dinner. Joey was our server. The dinner was awesome and the service was great! Thank you Joey we will definitely ask for you again. read more

This place is great!!!! Happy Hour is on point from 2pm-6pm with beef sliders and those delicious shoe string fries, to brisket taco and nachos. Have a seat at the bar or in their comfy couch/chair lounge area. You will definitely go home smelling like BBQ:) Service is wonderful everyone is so on point and always attentive. read more

Love the lunch specials. We met their for a birthday party and service was great. Everyone enjoyed their choice of meal. Coming back.

One of the better barbecues in the area. The food was excellent and the donuts weren't given justice as we were too full to enjoy.

Just real good BBQ, I found the prices a little high, but you certainly get what you pay for. I will be coming back.

Great BBQ and I liked the homemade donuts that they make right in the open by the front of the restaurant. I will definitely come back and eat there again the next time I come to Mesa! read more

The food was very good this was my first time there and I have a gluten allergy. And the gluten-free menu did not make me feel left out or as an afterthought. read more

I would honestly give this place 3.5 stars because of the cost but I can't. The food I got was tasty but not amazing... But the prices are pretty extreme. Great restaurant inside and out. Really neat set-up. Maybe that's why it's 25% over average cost? read more

This place is premium BBQ at its best! Everything is good there and the ambiance is rustic and rich - I love it! We have gone there for special celebrations and they treat you very well. If you love smoky BBQ, you'll love this upper class restaurant. read more

Love the quality food here! If you haven't been, you must check it out! Great staff, delicious food and some pretty amazing cocktails!

First time here and was very impressed by the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Good for kids, family, or a date (bar area). Really enjoyed the decor and lounge feel in the bar. Wish we had one in Southern California. read more

Trev was our waiter and he was fantastic. Kept our drinks full and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you

Love Bobby Q's ! This is a very upscale BBQ restaurant and can get a little pricey. Great cool atmosphere. They do have lunch time deals which are much cheaper than the night time menu and I like getting the Prime Brisket. Bobby Q's also has a great Happy Hour with discounted drinks and appetizers. Kind of cool to hang out on the couches and over stuffed chairs and chill over some cocktails. read more

Very disappointing to see prices at Bobby Q go so high and the portion size go down. Had the Southern or chicken fried chicken used to be 2 sides for $19 now just one side and a tiny size of corn is $4. Pulled pork sandwich and potato salad sandwich is $15. Was fatty meat. Once a 5 star experience now 2 might be too high. Too expensive for the food that is served now. read more

So disappointing! I wanted to eat here so bad, driving by it smells so good. I ordered the hog heaven, my brisket had no char, and so much fat I had barely any edible meat. The ribs were so tough with barely any meat on them, I gave them to my dog. The pulled pork was a 4, it was good, but again where is the char? The q rolls are a 5, amazing. I wish they plated with that same quality of brisket, the corn bread was delicious a 5, but we didn't get it until our entre. The mac and cheese , it needs pepper, salt, some flavor, if it wasn't so bland it could have been 5 it's a solid 3. Fruit flies were a plenty, killing bugs is not high on my list of things to do before digging in (we were sitting inside). Our waitress wasn't always around when we needed her, but she was nice enough, took way too long to place our orders, get drinks, and common water refills should be a no brainer. The baked potato was huge, the toppings did not match the size of potato, but the waiter did give us more upon request. I do wish the cook was on line checking the quality before it hits the table though. No quality control! All in all I would not come back here again. There's better bbq out there. read more

They were very accommodating with us we had a large party and then half of them didn't show up. They also had a gluten-free menu completely different than the rest of the menu so they weren't worried about cross-contamination. I'd go here again read more

Excellent service from Sam great BBQ flavor and very tender. Ribs and brisket were wonderful and this is a must return when in the AZ Phoenix area. Nice atmosphere and good food and service. Must visit read more

Once again Bobby Q's hit a home run! Both the steak & baby backs were cooked perfectly, there was no long wait to be served and the entire crew were very accommodating! read more

So delicious and wonderful atmosphere. Had their Friday fish fry. So good. The fish was just lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Hubby had the beef brisket sandwich, so tender and juicy. It's a little pricey, but the food and portions are worth it. Waiting staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed. Highly recommend! read more

We walked in to be seated and the host was very rude she said they closed at 9 and if we were seated we were going to have to hurry to order this was at 8:40 she took ten minutes and were still standing waiting for her to come back. She was close to the host stand and I heard her say to a group of people say that we weren't going to have enough time to order. I understand that we were late but the way things were done is just not ok.. working daily with customer service I feel like things could have been done a different way, sat us down let us know we have to order soon since kitchen is closing and got our orders in right away ... lost an extra order of 8... read more

Really good. Staff was on point and the menu rocks a sweet variety of bbq for every occasion. Wife loves the complementary fresh baked donuts. read more

I'm not sure how I've never heard of this place before. All five in our party had great meals with lots leftover for tomorrow's lunch. My baby back ribs were absolutely excellent although I wish there was an option for a bbq sauce with a little more kick. The beer selection was solid with lots of local and other favorites on tap. The reports of donuts cannot be confirmed because I guess the machine was out of order. I'm kind of bummed that there was nothing offered to make up for that but it's just the way things go sometimes. I liked the overall vibe of the place - the music was nice and not too loud and the whole property was upscale but not pretentious. read more

This was a great place to eat. Authentic bbq, reasonable prices, great drinks. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area that enjoys great bbq. Oh, and let's not forget the free mini donuts on your way out. read more

Appetizers were way over priced for the size. They even tried to charge higher prices than listed on their online menu. Never had this experience at their other locations. read more

Huge portions, good food flavors and great corn bread...and that is the most important part of good BBQ!

This is my favorite bbq place in AZ so far! From the food the the service they are amazing ! read more

Best ribs ever! The service was phenomenal and the food just as good. We called for reservations which helped us not have to wait when we arrived as it was a weekend evening. Their wedge salad was huge and a good size for sharing if it is not your entree. The take home donuts are good but definitely best if eaten the same night. This will be a stop on every trip we make! read more

Wow! I have to say... for a first timer I was impressed! Not only our waitress Kelly was amazing with the service and friendliness, but she took time to explain how it's all cooked! The food by far was amazing! Meat falling right off the bones! We got the Big Hog order and have plenty left for Thanksgiving dinner lol. Will definitely come back and bring friends. Oh the Mac n cheese was great. I don't even like cornbread and I ate 2 pieces ‍. Thank you again Kelly for a good time. Hope to see you again when I go back!! read more

Amazing and attentive wait staff! Food was cooked perfectly. They accommodated a bump in number of people for my reservations from 10-14 last minute AND made sure we were out in time for our next event since we were stressed for time. Highly recommend! read more

We stop here every time we come to AZ! Love the food and the service is amazing. Brisket, beef ribs, brisket roll appetizer, prime rib, and donuts are some of our favorites! We also really enjoy the atmosphere, drinks, and the patio when weather allows!:) read more

We love BBQ and eat it often. There's a decent number of places to get great meat in the Phoenix area, so it's a competitive market. Bobby's meat doesn't cut it for us. We ordered the Whole Hog Heaven so we could taste 4 different meats. The St Louis and baby back ribs were top notch and delicious; 5 stars. Meaty, moist, tasty. We also got the brisket and pulled pork as well. Both were 1 star - lots of gristle, big globs of fat, and mealy - grainy texture. They were inedible. The service was terrific and efficient, but the place was empty. There's a reason the AZ Republic food critic didn't list this place in his top BBQ joints. read more
