What a fun experience! Found it on yelp. Our server Ashlynn was such a help. I came in tired with my kids and she was enthusiastic and helped us through the menu. The food was fantastic but the service was what stood out. Thank you for making our evening great! read more

Food was amazing and the service was even better. Even gave us free dessert. 100% would recommend.

Food is amazing. Portions are large, consider sharing. Love the Smokey old fashion, I get one every time. Service can be hit and miss. Skip the bar tables. If you get a booth in the main restaurant you will enjoy that more. I will return soon. read more

Server was Race. He was very attentive. Food was delicious. The cornbread is my favorite. Ribs are fall off the bone wonderful. Zero complaints. Will come back often. read more

Great food. Just don't serve "Bob O." Or "T.S" they're infamous for horrible untrue reviews

Bobby Q is a lot nicer than other BBQ joints. It is beautiful inside and has a gorgeous covered patio. This is great for a family Special Occasion because you can get really good BBQ but they also have good prime rib or steak with tons of other menu items including burgers. You get complimentary corn bread which is amazing. They also give you cinnamon sugar donuts that they make fresh in house after your meal. They have hand crafted cocktails that are yummy! read more

We had a recent family celebration with about 90 people, a pre- wedding luncheon. The whole experience was top notch from start to finish. Setting up the event with Jake the manager, very professional and great to work with; I had tons of questions that took several calls :/ The day of the event we were met by two very attentive and professional guys, Trev and ...?(kicking myself for not remembering his name cause they were both awesome and took care of our every need!) The food was delicious and everyone raved about it! We had pulled pork and brisket and OMGsh the corn bread!!! Highly recommend! read more

Q rolls are the reason we come here. I just needed one bite. And I was hooked. Ever since Covid we've ordered some for delivery and they are just as good read more

Excellent service and food! Portions are quite large, expect to have leftovers. Prices are reasonable, individual entrees appear to be overpriced. Since this was our first time visiting we settled on their "Whole Hog Heaven" (Pick two ribs- Baby backs, st. Louis, beef ribs. Pick two meats- Pork, brisket, sausage, chicken. Pick three sides- Mac & cheese, shoestring fries, ranch beans, pecan cole slaw, potato salad, roasted corn, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, baked potato), which was priced at $49. That turned out to be a great choice and a feast! It was shared by 3 and still had leftovers. My favorite was the brisket and baby backs, the chicken was just average (skipping next time we visit). I think this is now my favorite BBQ spot. read more

It was my first time coming to this restaurant and I absolutely loved it! Our server Jea was very sweet and made it a welcoming experience. The food was amazing and so was the service! read more

Dinner was delicious, we shared a three meat platter with the pork, chicken and beef brisket. The chicken alone had such an incredible flavor from being smoked that it didn't need any sauce. The brisket also tasted very good, especially with the spicy BBQ. The pork was very stringy so probably wouldn't order that again. The service was wonderful, when they didn't have bacon for the potatoes our Waiter offered us a different side but we were satisfied with what we had. The two of us were so full at the end from sharing the 3 meat combo. They also have a quiet lounge area to enjoy a cocktail and watch a game. Definitely going to be back soon! read more

Everything was on point, despite being a very busy Friday evening. Jai provided fantastic service. The filet is always perfect and rivals any other steakhouse as top. I had delicious rib tips. There is always too much to eat! Thank you for making our date night awesome! read more

Excellent service and great atmosphere. They brought out some corn bread before the meat platter and oh my goodness the corn bread was the best I've ever tried. It was so moist and buttery, it was like eating a decadent red velvet cake! Their Mac N Cheeseeeeeeeeee was indeed amazing. We got the baby back ribs, St Louis ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. They were all good but my favorite was the baby back ribs. The meat was smoked perfectly and slid right off the bones. After the meal, they bring you these freshly made mini donuts with cinnamon sugar all over it. You'd think that after stuffing your face, you wouldn't have any room for them right? Nope, you WILL have room for them! lol I'm drooling just thinking about them again. Definitely going back to this place. They also have a great bar so it's a great place to hang out in a bigger group. read more

Visited last night and sat at the bar. They were not very busy. The food was good. Enjoyed the Smoked Beef Brisket and Spicy smoked links with Cole slaw and bake potato. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. Ordered a large beer and was almost finished it before even being asked what my food order would be.. By the way, was not even offered the delicious little donuts everyone is talking about read more

Had dinner with a group over the weekend. Brandon H. was our server and he was fantastic! Really friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Everyone liked the meals but the brisket and pulled pork with the favorites. My meal was a little late coming out from the others. They were very apologetic and made it right for me without me saying anything. Thank you so much for a great evening out! read more

The hostess was very kind and attentive right away. Our waiter, Quentin, was absolutely one of the nicest waiters I have ever had and I have been to A LOT of restaurants - in different states no less. Quentin was fast, thorough, and very caring. He was friendly without being careless and he always made sure we were comfortable. I would come back just to have him as our waiter again The food was also fantastic, props to the kitchen crew! We made our way to Bobby Q's tonight for the first time. All in all, it's a good place: tasty food, good-sized portions, and excellent service. The Q Rolls are basically egg rolls stuffed with brisket, served with dipping sauce. They were nothing too exciting, but nevertheless, quite good. My son and I had the pulled pork sandwich- I liked the toasted bun, along with the great tasting pork. For the sides, our table had shoestring fries, mac-n-cheese, beans, and corn bread: all delicious. Of course, freebie cinnamon sugar donuts at the end of any meal are always welcome. Alex was a friendly and knowledgeable server, and several other team members took care of us as well. It's a good idea to make a reservation-this is quite the popular place. read more

Excellent food, great service, love the ambience. They have great BBQ sauce and hard to find BBQ pulled chicken (yummy)! Hint: Check out the enclosed patio and lounge style bar area. We didn't on this trip but will be back soon! read more

Came here for my birthday dinner and it everything was really good! This is the first location of theirs I've been to but according to my siblings they liked the way this restaurant is set up better than the Phoenix location. We arrived without reservations and they told us the wait would be an hour and half but we were able to grab drinks and appetizers in the lounge and wait. The lounge is definitely comfortable with spacious seating and tvs. By the time we ordered and received our drinks our table was ready! It was a lot faster than they had said so that's always a plus! Yay: -whole hog heaven: enough for 4 people. We got the beef ribs, baby back ribs, sausage and brisket. Everything was delicious! -prime rib: this smoked prime rib was definitely my favorite. Cooked perfectly with a lot of flavor! -corn bread: complimentary and probably one of the best I have ever had. I like that it comes in a disk shape so it has a nice crust and soft center. Usually corn bread can be drying but these were perfect! -cocktails: we got their sangria, the duck duck goose, and two of the ones that come in the pineapple. Everything had a good balance of alcohol, flavors and sweetness. read more

Stopped by this location about on a Sunday night. Was sat after a couple minutes to a table and was told our server would be right with us. Ended up waiting 20 minutes with not a single person coming up to our table. Wish we had a chance to try the food but we just ended up walking out the front door and still no one said anything. Very disappointed. read more

It was up between Bobby q and 2 other places and Bobby q won. I went with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and I am so glad we went! The service was amazing and the beef brisket was even more amazing. The spicy hot BBQ sauce was so good! We got 10% off because of the Yelp offer. At the end they gave us a little Baggie of fresh mini doughnuts. Highly recommend this place and we will be back! Great experience! read more

Came here with a group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Food was good, well portioned and good variety of menu choices. I had the brisket tacos. They were pretty good. The appetizers were good. Only complaint would be it was pretty busy even sitting on the patio and therefore it was really loud. Also had to remind waiter about my adult beverage twice before it was brought out to me. Maybe it was the bartenders fault. Who knows. But overall good experience and would come here again. read more

I went on their preview night because this was the grand opening of their second location. I have passed this building before and always thought it was a beautiful spot. I think Bobby Q's will be it's permanent resident from here on out. When we approached the doors they welcomed us with smiles. Right next to the check in, was where they were making fresh donuts. As we walked to our table, all you could smell was delicious smokey aromas. Once we were seated, we had a chance to meander at the menu. There is a large variety of items from steak to your traditional BBQ. We ordered the Q rolls, which is Brisket fried with dipping sauces. This appetizer alone, was AMAZING!! The meat was tender, and flavorful. We all ordered drinks. My husband got a Peanut Butter Cup Porter, which tasted just like a peanut butter cup. My friend got the sangria which was a nice touch with the blackberries on top. My brother in law and I ordered the Q-Lotta. This drink made me feel like I should be on a tropical beach away from Arizona. Our meals arrived and everything was perfect! I had the baby back ribs and oh my goodness, they were so tender the meat fell of the bone. I had the side of mac and cheese and I need this in my life!! It was so creamy! My husband got the prime rib and the steak was perfect. They also gave us corn bread to go along with our food. The corn bread was moist and the butter made it taste like cake. Overall, this place is wonderful. It's a little pricey but you are getting quality! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is made with pride. You want a nice date night spot where you can feel relaxed and comfy, this place is perfect! I'll be back for some more. read more

Excellent service. Excellent food. I don't review often, and hardly EVER for a positive experience as I am very critical. This being said, our server (Chris) and our dinner was superb. Always a favorite when we visit Arizona . Love it here! We order the platter with smoked chicken, pork and beef cuts. The best!

Well maybe 5 stars if the tenBeef ribs had been hot instead of lukewarm. Everything else was yummy even including the baked beans that were made with beef instead of pork! The cornbread was absolutely amazing. Pecan Coleslaw fresh and crunchy! There was a happy ending too with hot fresh mini cinnamon and sugar donuts! Will return in the future. read more

Was pleasantly surprised at the great service and the excellent food. Only negative comment is that they don't have a sign directing one to front door, and of course I parked near wrong door and had to walk all the way around the restaurant to get in. For a 72 year old with bad knees and hips I would have appreciated a sign directing to door. read more

I can sum this place in one sentence for the newcomer... The place is good but not for the price. I believe it was $15 for the burger. $11 for the chicken tender appetizer. On top of that the chicken tenders didn't come with BBQ sauce. I had to ask for it after the fact. Why would a company serve ranch with chicken tenders at a BBQ restaurant? Same with the burger. I get BBQ sauce at Red Robbin with a BBQ or western style burger. Our waitress was horrible. We took a count. On average the other waiters/waitresses checked on the tables 1 out of 6 times that our waitress checked on us. - It is becoming more and more common that simply because a table doesn't order an alcohol beverage they are not worth the waitress or waiters time... All-in-all... it's good but not worth a second go. It would wise to take the money devoted to a meal here and go to a different restaurant. The 4 star rating is solely based upon their food and I thing else. read more

Unbelievable! This is, HandsDown, the Best BBQ i have had here in Mesa! The meat was sauced and flavored just right; fall-off-the-bone ribs, tender brisket and moist chicken! The portions were super sized and the kitchen was very considerate to split the couple's plate evenly. They got a 3meat combo, shared it, and still had leftovers! I got the 2rib deal and we could not believe the quality of meat! Sooo good! Did i mention complementary CORNBREAD?!
