First off really like the staff here. Usually go in for breakfast, but occasionally lunch or dinner works. You'll always be greeted immediately. Also the servers are quite friendly, and it is a family spot. I'm glad this one survived, as quite a few aren't around anymore. Breakfast is their best meal. The reason for that is simple. That would be because of their famous sausages. These are quite delicious. Their pancakes work for me, and my friends like the omelettes. Coffee is decent enough, although I prefer a bit more of a boost. It's time for the chain to upgrade the menu with new choices. Whether that'll be done, it's up to the corporate people. This is a clean and comfortable restaurant.

*their friendly and cozy vibes make this place great! A lot of veterans and grandparents like to enjoy their time here! It's not just about the business, but about the people. Parking: don't worry! There is a ton of parking! There's a lot of space in the back for parking. Seating: there's a lot of seats, including booths! It's nice and quiet with lots of distance. It's very family friendly and feels homey. Food: classic American food. I like their brunch food and their banana bread! Bathroom: clean bathroom. Price: it's a good deal for the food you get. Service: I think Bob Evans is known for their friendliness and home-like environment! Our server was so kind and friendly and she was so helpful! She definitely made our visit here better!

Bob Evans , Bob Evans was mentioned a few times for lunch as we were running errands. With a name like Bob Evans you can't go wrong. The food was really good and reminded me of a home cooked meal. It was delicious and served piping hot. The menu selection was vast and overwhelming, making it hard to decide what to pick. I have been hitting the jackpot with delicious food, great company and warm atmospheres. Best of all my friends were happy we stopped there

Suppose to be hard scramble eggs with crispy home fries and sausage patties. The fries are mush.

I missed my flight at IAD so my BF and I went to grab some breakfast together. He nostalgically remembered him and his grandparents going to Bob Evans when he was a kid and wanted to go for the hot coco and some breakfast platter to share. We got in right when they opened. Was funny as they have regulars that power walk in and sit all together and know one another. We waited to be seated though - and I even pulled menus for my BF and I cause they didn't have anyone to seat us when we got in. Finally a lady - the only server, came and sat us. We ordered hot coco, I asked if they could make mine with milk as I don't like watered down powder. She said no - they have hot coco made with water and powder - so I passed. I asked for a tea latte on the menu and she brought out luke warm water with some random tea packages and nothing else. I left it on the table and when she came back I mentioned I didn't find tea package for the tea latte on the menu - and wasn't offered milk or honey for the tea so I didn't use package in the (now cold) water. We were still charged for tea. We also got the platter with home fries (which we asked to be crispy- they came out mushy) and sausage patties (which were burnt and hard) and scrambled eggs dry (which tasted like it was from pourable egg solution and not real eggs). Needless to say we were not impressed. I also want to say Fatima, the manager put on a show yelling at the ONLY server in-front of customers saying if she messed up again she would send her home. The server, who was already short-handed and not in a good mood, dared Fatima to do it. All while, the customers were overhearing. Fatima also didn't know how to ring customers up - when we went to pay, she gave her our slip and she had to call a guy over to ring us up. The whole experience was very off-putting. I rate this location and experience as a Eek! Me thinks Not!

I can't complain about Bob Evans. Good food for the price you pay. We love the country fried steak from here. My kids are super picky but will devour it whenever I order it. Before covid, we went to Bob Evans about once a month. During covid, I've been ordering the family meals that they offer.

The Thai glazed wings were absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. The nachos were a close second and definitely worth ordering. The flatbread pizzas were just okay for me, but my husband really enjoyed the meat lovers version. We arrived during happy hour, which was perfect because we were able to order from the special drink menu. I had a French 75, and it was so good--light, refreshing, and well made. The only small hiccup was that it took about 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. However, once she did, everything went smoothly and she more than made up for the delay with great service. I'd definitely come back to enjoy their happy hour again and try more from the appetizer menu.

If you're between the poached chicken and the fried chicken, I would go with the fried chicken. The poached chicken was a little dry. - [Khao Man Gai Tod*]: This is the fried chicken rice set and comes with a sweet chili sauce. I've only ever ordered takeout from Kindi Chicken Rice but I liked that the fried chicken was still crispy and juicy when I brought it back home. Would I order again? : I would order again if I'm in the mood. When I was living in Philly, I used to love frequenting Cily Chicken Rice, which was also a Thai-style hainanese chicken rice spot. So, when I moved to NOVA, I was excited to find a similar restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, Kindi Chicken Rice isn't quite as good but it's still pretty decent. The ginger-garlic rice doesn't have enough garlic flavor and was a little dry. Also, I didn't like the ratio of chicken to rice; there was only six pieces of chicken for all the rice that was given. Lastly, the daikon soup had the classic peppery taste but lacked salt/umami flavor. But I did like that the daikon was sliced whereas the daikon in the Cily Chicken Rice soup is just one hunk of daikon.

The bartender was very sweet and understanding when we sent back 3 out of 4 of our dishes. Damn True Food has gone down hill in recent years. The cauliflower to start came out cold, with some strange orange sauce they claimed to be "tahini" but it tasted more like plastic. Sent it back and asked for a chia pudding instead. You wanna know what that was like? 4 day old refrigerated lumpy water that tasted like a combination of everything that was also in the fridge. Then the southwest tofu scramble left me floored. Cold again, but the plate was hot. Micro much? For a place that claims to prioritize good food, ingredients and be intentional about it all, it left me feeling a little sick. Never going back.
