Hands down the worst service I've ever received in a restaurant. This was my second visit to a Bob Evans restaurant and it will be my last. 15 minute wait, no problem. Drinks took 15 minutes after we ordered drinks, it should not that long. 3 families were seated after mine, and all received and ate their food before my family ever received our food. It took a little over an hour from the moment we sat down for our food to get to us even though we ordered immediately. Our waitress never checked on us, except to gives us our drink, food, and check. Waitress joked around too much when she finally showed up and was unprofessional. There was no apology for the amount of time taken, or lack of service. I will never step foot into another Bob Evans restaurant again. The only saving grace is that the food was good. Not bad, not great, but good enough that I can't complain about it. read more

This is my family's go to breakfast place while visiting Branson. I always get the Cinnamon Supreme Hotcakes, absolutely my fav, and my boys have to get the pig face pancakes all the time. We visited 2 times on our recent trip to Branson and wish we could bring it home! Lunch menu looks very good too but I find it difficult to pass up my pancakes as they have some of the best! read more

We come to Branson every year from Texas. We eat at Bob Evans each morning. Great food and service. The sausage gravy is awesome!!

The service was great...the food, not so much. I ordered the fried chicken breasts. When it arrived it looked like two smashed hockey pucks on a plate. No chicken. And I mean NO chicken and all breading. You get more chicken from any fast food place, even a McChicken was better quality than that. The server was really nice about it and took it back and allowed me to order the ham and cheese melt. I'm not sure if I pissed of the kitchen staff with the chicken or what but there were more onions than ham on the sandwich. I picked off the onions and somehow finished half of it before giving up. Again. The service was great and they were kind. But I WILL NOT be going back here ever again, it's a waste of money. read more

On vacation and have ate at several Bob Evans in the past and this one is by far the worst. Food was way over cooked , coffee cold and had to wait to get check while waitress gossiped . Done!! Never again!!! read more

The service was really slow and the omelets we got were not worth the wait or price. They were really busy but an hour wait for a slice f toast and an omelet is excessive. Our drinks were often left empty sitting at the edge of the table waiting for the waitress. read more

I have been to Branson many , many times. For dinner I go to many different restaurants but for breakfast only one. Bob Evans is the best...bye far! The service is great, the little country store is quite nice and the food is excellent. The sausage grave and biscuits are my favorite. Dinners are very good also but breakfast is the best. My husband and I are traveling across country and stopped in at this Bob Evans around 11:00 today. Although there were at least two sections where no one was seated we had to wait for more than 10 minutes to get seated. After waiting several minutes a waitress finally caught my eye and said she would be right there. She poured me coffee but we had no silverware or napkins. She returned a couple minutes later with iced-tea for my husband and the silverware. After she took our order for a salad and a bacon and egg breakfast we never saw her again. After waiting 25 minutes we left. When we tried to explain to the cashier the circumstances she never once looked up and just kind of fumbled around with the computer looking for our order which had apparently never been placed. There was not one smile or apology for our experience. In fact, not one of the staff had even made eye contact. She finally just told us to go ahead and leave....apparently the drinks were on the house. Don't bother to waste your time here. Try the Steak and Shake just down the street! read more

We look forward to having breakfast here every summer on our Branson vacation. We have breakfast here every single day during our stay. Have eaten here a lot over the years but no more. Last two times ordered breakfast and potatoes burned and sausage shriveled up to nothing. Two questions to the manager: why would the cook send it out this way. And why would the server serve it that way. Answer: I'll have to talk to them about this. I love Bob Evans as a chain, but this one in Branson is poorly run. It was a long time before we were acknowledged and served coffee, then a long time between refills. Each refill required multiple hand signals to capture the waitress' attention. The restaurant should have flags on the table so that you can resort to communicating with the waitress using semaphore. Breakfast took them over 20 minutes to prepare. The overall experience was one of waiting way to long for nearly everything. The food--once it did arrive--was good quality, but they screwed up the kids' orders and gave them French fries instead of fruit. We looked like "those parents" who let their kids eat fries in the morning. Asked for cream, and the waitress first gave us flavored cream, then milk, and only after much explaining and education did she understand we wanted half-and-half. What is so hard about serving half-and-half? I'm a Buckeye, and am used to much better from Bob Evans. If you're in Branson, find a locally-owned place for breakfast--there seemed to be quite a few downtown. read more

I wish I could have given this restaurant 5 stars because the food was good and it didn't take long for it to arrive, but the waitress really killed the deal. She was good at first, but later she seemed to have an "I don't care anymore" attitude. I had to refill my own glass and that is a huge turnoff with me. That is where most of the tips are lost. The place was not very busy but it wouldn't have taken her but a minute to refill my glass. It is not a self-serve restaurant, therefore I did not leave her a tip. read more

Bob Evans was a good "go to" breakfast place. We will never eat there again. My omelet was so over cooked you could hardly cut it and the home fries were burned black. We brought issues to the managers attention and all he could do was make excuses. read more

I have been there three times, all of which I had to wait at least an hour for the fast food. The last time I was there will be the last, after 20 minutes of being there i didn't even receive my beverages. Our food took over 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to the table but at that point we were on our way out the door. I refused to pay. The three other people in my party also refused. I work in the restaurant business and this is just embarrassing. All they have to do is cut the product out of the bag and microwave it (which is what all of these chain restaurants do don't fool yourself), and they couldn't do that. I wish I could give my gift card away, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone. read more

The hostess and waitstaff were very rude. Took aver 30 minutes for 2 meals neither were cooked right and missing items. Everyone from the manager Josh to the cook Chris didn't seem to care maybe when someone gets sick they will! read more

Although I've had good experiences at Bob Evans in other towns, our experience at this one was not good. Although the tables were only about half-filled and we had only four tables of people ahead of us in line to be seated, we stood in line for 10-15 minutes before we got a table. Once we were at the front of the line, we had to wait for the hostess to clean a table for us. Perused the menu, talked, looked around, noticed servers walking back and forth, nobody came and asked what we wanted to drink, no server stopped to say she/he would be right with us. Even staring at the server area making eye contact with every server who would look at me, we were not acknowledged. After 10-15 minutes at our table, an older server made her way to our table and said she was sorry for our wait but their cooks had been really busy that morning and the food coming out of the kitchen was horrible. I said, "the food coming out is horrible??" She clarified that she meant the wait time for your order had been horrible. "But the cooks are getting caught up now." I told her that after waiting nearly 30 minutes to even place our order, we were not interested in ordering when the "wait time was horrible." We left and went to Rib Crib. We will never be back to this Bob Evans. read more

I bought a t-shirt as a gift from the Bob Evans Restaurant in Branson, Missouri a few years ago. I brought the shirt home and gave it to the whom person I bought it for. He decided to wear the shirt and found out the shirt had a hole in the right shoulder. I was disappointed to hear that it had a hole in it. I called the restaurant and talked to a young woman about the situation. She put the manager on the phone. The manager offered to send another shirt but I told him that I wanted a refund since I paid both for the shirt and to have it sent back. He finally agreed to send a refund. I sent the shirt with the original receipt. I didn't receive the refund. A month later, I called the restaurant and he said that he would send it out the next day. The refund was never sent. I sent a message explaing what happend and requested a refund on the to the corporate Bob Evans location website. I was supposed to hear back from corporate within a week. I never heard from the place. I do not recommend buying shirts from Bob Evan Restaurants. I was dissatified customer. Their customer service was very unprofessional. read more

This place has consistently gone downhill. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants for breakfast but no longer. Today was the last chance we're giving it. Only 7 tables of people and wait time for service and food was horrible. People behind us had nothing but biscuits and gravy and oatmeal and they waited an hour for that. The prices have gone up and the portions have gone down. What was served today looked like something for a child's plate. People had to go ask for coffee refills. They should have been ashamed at the size of the portions on the plates. The only thing decent was the pancakes. Food was not cooked to order and had to constantly ask for things like butter and jelly and coffee. Didn't even get a ticket so we could pay and they couldn't locate our waitress. Finally looked it up on the computer. Didn't see any smiles and most of the staff looked like they were being held prisoner and made to service people. We've lived here for 22 years and know what it used to be like. We won't be back again. We'll patronize the local restaurants who apparently care about giving you something for your money and do it with some pleasantry. My opinion is a chain restaurant in a tourist area like Branson loses it objectivity on what's it's there for, not just to capture the innocent tourists that depend on "brand" names. read more
