DELICIOUS AND FRESH FISH! I did the lobster dinner last week. The sampler was very tasty! Scallop, an oyster and a shrimp.

I'm so happy I chose to try this place out! I came here on a Monday night and sat at the bar. There were several other people at the bar as well and they all seemed to be regulars and that's usually a good sign IMO. The bartenders were awesome! Very quick and friendly. I asked the bartender Miles which dish he would recommend and he directed me to the snapper with artichokes and risotto and it was a great suggestion! The fish was perfectly cooked, light and flaky. The artichokes had a really lightly crispy crust on them and the risotto had a great creamy texture. The only thing I would change is to cut back on the salt in the risotto a little but other than that, it was a perfect dish. They had the windows open so there was a bit of a fresh breeze coming in. Overall it was a nice little evening. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

Super-professional service - total kudos. Great seafood. Loved the chowders. Upscale atmosphere was just right to celebrate our shared wedding anniversaries. In this case, we got what we paid for, and left as satisfied customers. Parking was easy and free. read more

Great seafood and good price point. Two of us ordered walleye , one trout, and one lobster roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. Bread is included also. Nice sourdough. Our server John was excellent. He checked on us but didn't overdo it. Our water glasses were always refilled. We travel from North Scottsdale to get there. Not a short ride. We always take our out of town family guests there. read more

Went to celebrate a recent bonus. Had steamed clams not pictured because we were starving. I had the Barmundi which was amazing and the daughter had the Mahi Mahi. All the food was great and the service amazing. The way they've fixed this location so it wasn't really hot and so much quieter than the previous restaurant that was in this space. Our server David was great. read more

So, hubby and I wanted seafood, so I hopped on Yelp and searched for Seafood. I remember when this place was at its old location, and I was not impressed. Seeing that it moved, I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy we did. The inside was clean and modern, which was very refreshing. We were greeted and seated quickly, and we arrived at about 5:15 p.m. We were greeted by our waitress who reminded us of your mother (in a very good way) she was engaging and friendly. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. She made some recommendations for dinner, and surprisingly, I was going to choose one of them. The appetizer was fried calamari, they were excellent, and the Sweet chili sauce was odd. We ordered our salads, and got to love a good wedge salad!! YUM Dinner, I ordered the Sandabs, and hubby ordered the Salmon. The Sandabs were EXCELLENT the only issue was the Scalloped potatoes they were not good, and the potatoes themselves were tender, but the cheese they used was WAY too pungent and was not good. This was the only issue for dinner. We will be back, just hope they fix the scalloped potatoes. read more

I used their Yelp deal for $5 off a signature cocktail and the Captain's Mai Tai didn't disappoint. The food was wonderful and we tried a few things. They had plenty of options on the menu for everything seafood it seemed. Our server was very attentive but gave us time to decide and enjoy. The cedar plank salmon was cooked perfectly and the only thing wrong with the crab cakes was that they made me want more. I'd come back to try more of the menu if I was craving seafood for sure. They are a bit pricy but it's not the worst. read more

Happy hour on a Saturday was fantastic! What we had: Yellowtail Nigiri (I could eat 20 more right now) Spice Yellowtail roll (yum) Blue Water roll (would probably skip next time) Raw oysters (actually so very delicious) Fries (not amazing but 7.5/10) We had their happy hour vodka martinis, with New Amsterdam, and they were good but Kettle is better of course. Service was top notch- the bar was almost empty upon arrival and packed with a vibe on our way out. Will definitely be back for happy hour & probably give dinner a try at some point too! read more

I'm from the North Shore of Massachusetts, been in Az.for 19 years. We found Fried Clams at Taylor's Chowder House, they were passable, but they closed down and I had no fried clam places to try.I checked all the sea food places,no one had clams. Then I looked up Blue water Grill and Fried Clams were on the menu. Made the hour long trip to the Grill and ordered the Fried Clams, and I must say they were the best I've had in a long time.(I would say as good as any I had up on the North Shore of Massachusetts the place where Fried Clams were invented.) Anyone who wants great fried clams this is the place to go to.My wife had the Fried Fish and she said it was a great meal.I will be back.Natalalie was very nice, and I met Jeff the manager, who also is from the North Shore.(He knows his Clams) read more

Food, service and ambience. All. I love this restaurant. Next time I go I'm going to try the fresh Sushi bar and have some Saki too.

We dined at Bluewater grill on 5/11/26 at noon. Two in my party had lobster rolls and I had the crab BLT. The food was excellent and the service was good. The reason I am giving three stars is because the cocktails were awful. We ordered a Mai Tai and two Coconut Margaritas. The bill for those three drinks was $48.00. The Mai Tai was incredibly sour and the margaritas tasted like cheap tequila. No coconut taste whatsoever. I should have sent them back but were pressed for time so I just let it go. I would go back for the food but I would not order anything from the bar. read more

Came here on Easter Sunday and we had a wonderful time! To start off, the complimentary sourdough bread with butter was amazing. We even received some extra to take home! I had the pasta with shrimp and scallops and it was delicious. Others in our party had the chicken and salmon, they all devoured their food! We were also celebrating a birthday and were given complimentary dessert. I don't usually like creme brulee but theirs is top notch!! Overall, the service and food were amazing. The restaurant is clean and relaxing. We had a great family dinner. read more

Had the seafood platter. The Absolute worst dish I've ever had any place. The shrimp was hard as a rock. They give you a whole lot of french fries but not a whole lot of fish. I also had the calamari appetizer once again the worst. Never go back there. read more

Everything we tried was amazing. Ahi appetizer, trout, cod, scallop potatoes and bread pudding. William did a great job as well. If we come back to Phoenix again we will be back here for sure. Yum!!! read more

I stopped by here after my hair appointment in downtown Phoenix and I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been to the new location. I had only been to the old location off the highway. Anyway, I had the firecracker shrimp and they were pretty good! I also had a spicy margarita And a tuna appetizer, which was very good! I definitely will be back and will probably come back with my girlfriends. I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lively. The happy hour was great and the service was fantastic. I sat at the bar, and Marc took great care of me! Keep up the good work! read more

I have been looking for a great seafood place like this! I only wish they had one in the West Valley. I wanted something special for Mother's Day and am glad that I gave Bluewater Grill a try. Everything was perfect! We did make reservations, but still there was plenty of great seating, even on this special occasion. The folks up front were attentive and seated us promptly. I did love the window seat, but the view was just of the parking lot, but that was okay. Tracy, our sever, was really friendly and the service was outstanding. We immediately had water with lemon and really good warm sourdough bread served. That was some of the best ever! Everything looked so good, that I wanted to try everything! We started with crab cakes and clam chowder. The crab cakes were good and the chowder was stellar! So that I could try a little bit of everything, I ordered the fried fisherman's platter and my wife had the fried shrimp. Both were very good! The scallops were nicely done and the shrimp were very large. By the time that I got around to the fish, I had run out of room. There is so much more that I want to try. The blackened fish, lobster roll. etc... I will most certainly be back! read more

Emma was our server and she was so friendly and sweet it made our meal even better. We had bucket clams, grilled octopus, new england clam chowder, bacon cheeseburger, mussles with Spanish Chorizo, Prawn Linguini and San Francisco Cioppin. Very freshly made. The soup left over from the bucket claims and mussels combo was excellent too. read more

This location is by far my fav out of all the ones I visited. Stop in and eat at the Happy Hour Bar 3-6 Monday thru Friday. You'll also receive a special course menu and their traditional menu. There are a few unique dishes like the paella that you don't see at others. Plus did I mention the sushi!! Couldn't resist went straight for it. The Phoenix roll, Bluewater roll, and the Senorita Roll. Sat by the window so also got to enjoy a beautiful sunset alongside my glass of wine. Staff were prompt and professional. Plenty of parking and management even checked in on the tables. Will definitely be back next time in town! Fantastic and delicious! read more

Came here for a quick lunch and man I wish we had one in LA!! I got the crab BLT and it did not disappoint. It was such a delicious take on a classic. I ordered it with a side salad and even though it was a simple salad it was delicious. The dressing was a house made white balsamic and I wish they sold it because I'd buy it by the bottle! What was supposed to be a quick meal turned into one of the best meals of the trip. read more

Great happy hour! I had excellent sushi and the clam chowder was so fresh! I'll be back!

Another wonderful meal at Bluewater Grill! Absolutely positively delicious as usual. This is one of my very favorite restaurants in all the world. I had the sautéed walleye at the recommendation of our wonderful server Ashely. Delectable! And Ashley was exceptional. Great service but, more importantly, she had the best tips on what to order. She was prompt but also allowed us chat time. She made our lunch even more special!!! Loved her! She loves the restaurant and her job - which she is so very good at. Highly recommend read more

My wife and I been eating here for a few years, Lately we have seen a noticeable decline in quality, and smaller portions. Water was brought to us in tiny glasses, with no ice and no lemons. After requesting larger glasses with ice, we were provided with them, but we should not have had to ask. We were planning to order iced tea, but when we saw how small the water glasses were, we assumed the iced tea glasses would also be very small, and it is often difficult to get refills. Although the food is good, the portions are very small. It would have been better if they had maintained their quality and just raised their prices more instead. read more

This restaurant is significantly better than its rating indicates. I've eaten here many times and despite being in a landlocked state like AZ the fish is consistently excellent!
