I found this amazing place by accident! My colleague and I had to meet to discuss issues at work, and we needed a quaint place to eat and chat. I ordered the most delicious blueberry matcha and almond croissant. The waitress was so kind to us and chatted with us. She made us feel so comfortable. The service was excellent. It is a very beautiful place inside, very bright and has beautiful pictures in the walls. My colleague and I will be going for brunch next time. I met some of the other employees on my way out and they were so friendly and open. Please go to this wonderful getaway - perfect for any occasion!!
Cute little place! Went for some brunch and love the cozy cafe vibes it has. I had the pancakes and a latte and it was good! I can definitely see it being a great place to study and work.
A very comfortable and pleasant breakfast. The ambiance is so bright and open. The seating is comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed my coffee and my breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, the service started well, but after taking our order, we never saw our server again...as this is a small place, I'm going to assume there was some miscommunication among the staff. So, yes, I'll return again.
Our server, Liam, was 10/10 when it came to customer service. He was super friendly, attentive, and very helpful with recommendations for both the food and drinks. We ordered the Strawberry Matcha Lattes, and they were delicious. I loved that you could taste the real strawberry pieces at the bottom of the drink. For food, we ordered the Warm Chicken & Ancient Grains bowl, which was really tasty. It had a fresh, lemony flavor that I absolutely loved. We also ordered the Ricotta Pancakes because they looked very appealing on the menu. Unfortunately, they were disappointing. The presentation was cute, the stack came with 3 pancakes, but the pancakes were smaller than a regular sized pancake. More importantly, they were very dry and not flavor. The ricotta topping was okay, but it wasn't enough to make up for the pancakes themselves. I really liked the overall concept of the restaurant. It has a cute beach vibe, and I especially loved the beach-style hanging lamps. Overall, it was a decent experience. I may come back and give it another try, but mostly because of the excellent service. Liam definitely made the visit memorable and deserves recognition for providing such outstanding customer service.
Bluestone Lane is one of those places that checks off every single box in my book. There's nothing like a perfectly cured cup of espresso or tea while you're looking over a small menu that has well thought out and clean ingredients. I have to admit that the Aussie style breakfast is along with different twist on certain things that you wouldn't typically have for breakfast or initially caught my eye. I started off with the golden latte. It was a beautifully balanced turmeric latte with almond milk with a perfect amount of sweetness. Not only was it gut healing, but it's super warming on a chilly morning. While I was looking over the menu, I was between the breakfast burrito since everybody was ordering it or the soft scramble with chili oil. I landed on the soft scrambled chili crunch. It was served with a half avocado and rye toast the others in our party ordered pancakes, bacon, a chicken sandwich and a Yuzu drink. Everything came out in a timely manner and beautifully plated. I absolutely loved the soft scramble on Rye. It was a perfect serving size as well as hitting the spot for a not so traditional breakfast. As we're sitting there, I noticed everybody was ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes, so I could not resist and ordered some as well. I will say the most underwhelming part of that was the lemon ricotta pancakes due to the ratios for the pancake pancakes and lemon ricotta. Overall, my experience was spectacular. I cannot wait to go back to Bluestone Lane to try other menu items.
We were seated rather quickly despite a full restaurant. Food looked amazing- ordered coffee and a berry smoothie, both delicious. Presentation of the food was beautiful but the taste was just okay.
This cafe is such a cute spot! Everything was amazing from service to food! When we walked in we were greeted and helped out right away, our server was also very sweet and gave some great recommendations. The quality of the food taste very fresh! My husband and I really enjoyed it, we think it's definitely a must try if you're in old town Orange!
Located a block away from the Circle, this charming eatery serves breakfast dishes (all day) and sandwiches as well as various coffees. I came with a friend for a late lunch and, upon entering, was told to take a seat anywhere. There are many tables inside and a nice patio, but it was too hot on this day to sit outdoors. We were immediately given a carafe of water and soon ordered our meals. I decided on a croissant sandwich with bacon, scrambled egg, cheddar cheese, with chipotle mayo, along with a hot mocha. The sandwich was superb! The fresh croissant is what really elevated it. The ingredients were all basic but the combination made for a perfect breakfast sandwich. The sandwich came with wedges (I used to call them jojos), which were crisp outside and potatoey-soft inside. Yummy. The mocha was exquisite, a perfect blend of espresso and chocolate, served at an immediately drinkable temperature in a cute mug. Best mocha I've ever had? Probably! Note: Easy parking a block away in the free structure on Lemon Street.
Came here on the way to LA from SD and thought it would be a cute brunch place with the family. Staff was overall friendly and the menu had many vegetarian options. They do have a kid menu and high chairs. I thought the food was tasty and for ambiance prices are fair. There was either no wait or a short wait on a Sunday morning. I also saw patrons studying or doing work solo like a cafe. We tried their green goddess salad which was very tasty and light. Their mushroom truffle grilled cheese was delicious as well and came with chips. The kids tried a fairy toast which was a cute idea- buttered toast with sprinkles. They also have protein smoothies, coffee, and tea. The smoothie we tried was good as well and I did not taste the protein. They have outdoor seating.
We finally checked out Bluestone Lane in Orange and honestly left feeling pretty underwhelmed, so we are giving it 3 stars. We had the avocado smash and one of the grain bowls, but both were very mediocre and just lacked any real flavor for the price. We also felt like the service was pretty much absent the entire time we were there, which made the experience even more frustrating. To top it off, the whole place was kind of dirty, from the tables to the floors, which isn't really what you want when you are trying to enjoy a meal. The one saving grace is the outside patio area. It is a really nice spot to sit on a clear day and we love that it is doggie friendly so our four legged family members can join us. There is also plenty of metered parking nearby which makes getting there easy. While the patio vibe is great, the lack of cleanliness and subpar food mean we probably will not be back.
Came here with a group of 9 and they put us at the big table in the back. Aesthetic is really cute and the servers were attentive. My main reason for giving it 2 stars is because our entire table got their dishes except for 1. After asking two different servers, we were never really given an answer as to where her dish was. Finally someone came by saying it's coming ... yet it took another 5 minutes (by this time, almost everyone was done). The server just handed us the last dish with no apology and simply walked away. I would have expected that dish to be comped for coming out almost 20 minutes later than everyone else's but it wasn't. She took off someone else's drink on our bill instead? Didn't make much sense. Lastly, the pancakes were so sooo dry.
Food - Get the B.L.A.T.E sandwich! You can skip the lemon ricotta pancakes that everyone seems to rave about? We ordered them to try since the were mentioned so much every time we heard about Bluestone but they weren't anything special. They were good but there was too much ricotta and hardly any lemon IMO. The sandwich though, 5 stars! My husband and I couldn't decide between the sandwich and the burrito so we got both to split and while both were good, the sandwich was the star of the day. The little fries on the side were also delicious Coffee - meh. We both got vanilla lattes, I don't love overly sweet coffee but this one didn't taste like it didn't have any syrup in it. I would come back for the food but not the coffee. Ambiance - cute, clean and bright. Can't beat cute little old town to walk around when you're done either. Service - My husband and I came in for breakfast before the Valentine's Day rush states everywhere, I think we showed up shortly after 9 and were seated right away and our orders came out in a fair amount of time Price - for our 2 lattes and basically 3 dishes, it was $82 I think? With tip? Pricey for breakfast IMO but it is what it is. The prices are probably about the same at any other spot in eye sight too.
This place is fantastic. We were instantly welcomed by a very sweet young lady with red hair. I LOVE being greeted in this way-it sets the tone for the whole experience. Our server was great and the other young lady that helped cash us out was so personable. 5 stars for the staff, now onto the food. You must order the BL Burrito and vanilla latte. The burrito was flavorful and not spicy. I would order it again for sure. Excellent experience.

do not recommend for a quick coffee especially on the weekends. this is a restaurant. i waited 20 minutes for a coffee without knowing it was that backed up for a to-go coffee. read more

Everything I have had here has been super tasty. The coffee is delicious, the breakfast is really good, and the service is great. It does get a little busy at times, but it is a super cute spot and well worth it. read more
It's okay. Like others pointed out, the service is slow which is weird when you're the only ones there... you would think your food would come out quicker since it's only for 3 people. The food is also just okay. Nothing stood out, everything tasted bland, and the burritos are INSANELY SMALL. For the price, probably won't come back. read more

Self seating - the drinks were really good and there is a large variety of coffee beverages to choose from. However, service was pretty slow given that it wasn't very busy. The food was okay, the burrito a bit plain and the pancakes did not have a strong lemon flavor. Overall okay. I would get coffee again, but probably just to go. The inside decor is very cute! Was walking into Blk Dot Coffee, when I noticed this cute place next door. Decided to grab a vanilla latte to go from here instead. Bluestone Lane is really busy on a Saturday morning. A mix of college students and young families. The ambiance is upscale casual. The service is a little slow, but friendly. My vanilla latte was good. A solid 4/5. This place was delicious and exactly what I've been looking for -- a go-to spot for genuinely healthy food that still tastes amazing. I love having a place where I can eat clean without sacrificing flavor. We split the burrito with my friend and had some of their healthy juices, which were both great. I also got the berry bowl in a mason jar and added feta cheese to it -- such a good move. The combo was surprisingly perfect and super flavorful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is beautiful. The whole space feels warm, inviting, and honestly gives off Greece vibes -- bright, clean, and calming. The food took very long but I guess it was a little busy. The water pitcher was a little dirty and it took a long time to get out food. The portions were very small as well. When we asked for an extra plate they would take a long time and when we needed a refill it took a long time. Overall would not go again. read more

Amazing stop before going out to shop in Old Towne came here with my best friend for a pit stop before thrifting what a great idea. Inside is so cute and plenty of seating don't worry about seating worry about finding parking Everything on the menu looks great and you might have a hard time choosing One thing that confused me was how thick the prosciutto was on my prosciutto and burrata sandwich but it didn't upset me in the slightest. The chais were amazing had to come back and ask them where they get their chai from. Great prices, great food, great service! read more
Bluestone Lane is a super cute addition to downtown Orange. The iced coffee drinks looked amazing, but we didn't end up trying any of them so I'll need to try a drink next time. My friend ordered the Green Goddess Bowl (which she liked) and I ordered a Chicken Breast Sandwich on grilled sourdough (this was just okay and didn't have much flavor). Despite not loving my meal, I did really like the ambience so I might give it another try and try something different. read more

We love the vibe of this café -- clean, crisp, and airy, with shards of mint green and white colors, and cute wicker basket accents. We got there around 11 a.m. on a Sunday and only waited a few minutes for a table. By 11:30 or so, there was already a long line forming, so definitely go early if you can! There were plenty of servers, and everyone was super friendly and attentive, but our coffee and food still took over 15 minutes to come out. The lemon ricotta pancake was fluffy and delicious, and the breakfast plates and sandwiches were just right. The coffee was great too -- we even grabbed a bag of beans to take home! If we're nearby again, this is a spot we'd return to. read more

Everything we experienced at brunch this morning was so great, I don't even know where to begin. Starting with the food and coffee: the lattes we all got were delicious (I recommend honey syrup with oat milk- to die for!). The food was phenomenal! The three of us split the blueberry pancakes, avocado toast, soft chili scramble with avocado, and a side of bacon. The avocado toast had perfectly ripe avocado on high quality bread. The soft chili scramble was my favorite! The staff were all so kind and attentive. Kento helped us throughout our visit, even offering to go cups for our coffees at the end and more ice for the road to keep them cold in the heat. We are a fan of Australian coffee and we wanted to try this location. The nitro coffee was rich and not bitter ordered light sweet though I would have liked a little sweet. The plain latte was excellent not adding flavor syrups keeps the flavor bold. Small parking lot right in the mix of a happening area. Loved the vibe. read more

I visited Bluestone Lane in Orange on a Tuesday morning. Parking right in front of the cafe is limited, but there are multiple lots nearby where you can park & walk over. The cafe has lots of seating & a really nice interior design that makes it feel bright & welcoming. There were only a handful of other customers during our visit so we didn't have to wait too long for our orders to come out. I ordered the breakfast bowl, which was good, but next time I'd want to try their brekkie bowl (avocado toast & yogurt bowl). Bluestone Lane is an Australian-inspired establishment, which I think is a fun touch since there aren't too many spots like that nearby, at least that I know of. I've visited this location several times in the past & I'd definitely come again. read more

Came in for lunch. The food was good, the quality of ingredients was great. The service was slow. There's a sign that says "Wait here to be seated," but the hostess just asked us to grab a menu and seat ourselves.It took a while to get water and order taken even though the place wasn't that busy. After the food was dropped off the waitress never checked up on us or provided us any take out boxes until I had to get to the counter and requested it. Hopefully service will improve if I ever return. read more

The vibe is very nice, and workers a so friendly! I enjoyed the food very much and the drinks. I got the strawberry matcha cloud with oat milk, tasted great not overly sweet! I ate the warm chicken and ancient grains bowl and some of the lemon ricotta pancake along with wedges. I really loved the bowl, I want to order it again, but I also want to try all their other menu items. The pancakes were nice and fluffy and looked very pleasant. I think for me I realized I don't particularly like ricotta, but for those who do, I think it would be enjoyable. I want to try the blueberry pancakes next time. My husband had the mocha drink and Aj verde pulled chicken sandwhich. He liked both! I definitely want to come here again with some friends next time. I love the decor and the feels inside. As always, this place is booming with people for brunch and so much table space. The ambiance always feels comfortable and inviting. There were 3 of us for brunch and we all ordered something different. I had ordered the Blackened Chicken Mediterranean Salad. Every bite better than the last. It was light and filling at the same time with all the flavors dancing together on every taste bud. It was that good. I always had ordered the BLATE but I needed to try something else. I also had the very brekkie smoothie which was perfect because it didn't taste so sugary and it felt healthy, especially since oat milk is in this beverage. My friends had ordered the BL burrito with the guajillo sauce on the side, just in case she thought it was spicy. It wasn't. It was a mild salsa. She had an iced chai latte with her brunch item.And the other ordered the green goddess bowl which she had cleaned and had ordered the Magic (cortado) espresso drink. We really enjoyed our time here. Came to Orange Circle to enjoy the vibe and grab a quick bite, just happened to find this gem. Food was A M A Z I N G!!!! So mad I didn't take more pics! We had the Truffle Mushroom Grilled Cheese, Turkey Bacon Sandwich w/tomato soup, Banana Bread and an Ice vanilla latte. Oh and I got a side of pancakes cause I love me some plain pancakes. Can't wait to come back to try other items. Lastly, service was also top notch. This sweet girl named Abby was so friendly and made sure we were completely satisfied and we definitely were. To finish off the experience one of the staff came to check on us, Edgar I think, he seemed to know the menu so well, I got the feeling he had something to do with it. Food was great, this review would be higher if the service was better. Half our party received their food, the other half waited for 25 minutes to receive theirs. Same thing happened with coffee. We felt the staff was inattentive to our table and we had to call servers over for anything we needed. That being said, food was amazing and coffee was great!! I do consider myself a coffee addict and this was a GOOD cup of coffee. The aesthetic is also beautiful!! read more

The menu comprises of a strong variety of brunch dishes such as breakfast burritos, pancakes, and classic egg breakfasts. The athlete's burrito and soft chili scramble were light yet flavorful. The lemon ricotta pancakes held a great texture and were topped with fresh berries. Each brunch item was tasty, and Bluestone is a great place to immerse in a beautiful indoor or outdoor ambiance. Had the best time here. We've been to Bluestone before but the difference this time was the staff. Julie and Maddie were incredible! Best service in a long time. They were friendly, helpful and super knowledgeable about everything Bluestone. We had some guests from out of town and this was a great experience for them. If you're in Old Towne anytime soon stop in. The coffee is excellent but don't stop there. Great menu that has something for everyone. Highly recommend Stop in today for great coffee, great food and an awesome vibe! Make sure to sit at Julie's table and ask for Maddie's special blend. read more

Such a cute little spot. I really enjoy the ambiance and colors. The menu is basically centered around Australia. There's different types of coffees that are popular in Australia that I've never heard of so that was cool. And service was great! The food was great. I do wish there was more lemon on the lemon ricotta pancakes, but it was yummy. read more

Is this a place where i can bring my laptop to work? I wasn't sure if you had plug outlets and if you were a table service location.
Yes they have plug outlets so you can bring your laptop there for work, but they only have few plugs. They also have free wifi for customers.
Do you take reservations? It sounds like maybe via Resy only which appears to be Apple only app
