Had to stop in since it was next door to Pirch the AWESOME home improvement store. I decided to keep the groove going and of course I needed a pair of shoes and then I realized I also needed a purse, watch and other LADY things because I have one more day to celebrate my BIRTHDAY. I found all the things I needed plus a few I wanted, everthing was so fly I had to have it. However I am not to blame because the sales staff were so friendly and helpful, Lol and they agreed I did need all the items I purchased once I told them how hard I work and do not get a chance to shop as often as a hard working girl should , Lol This store has all the latest fashions and excellent Customer Service. That's the reason I had to shop because I love good Customer Service and they had a lot of summer items on sale making room for the Fall Fashions. Anyway I did very good and saved my hubby a lot of money. So he should be very proud of me. Bloomingdale's - Department Stores Near Me - Glendale, California

Customer service at this locations is zero! I have made a complaint about their service in the past and seems to nothing has changed. You'd think such a high end department store would have a high rating in their customer service but NO, it's completely lacking. Most of the sales people there behave as if we, customers owe them something. I hardly shop there but I thought it's the holidays, let me see if anything has changed, at one department, (Tom Baker) the associates were standing around and giving each other compliments and chit chatting while I was standing in front of them to ask questions on some of the merchandise. I asked where the fitting room is and the lady just pointed her finger where it was and continued with chatting with other coworkers. At Nordstrom, sales people take your merchandise and walk you to the fitting. Then I walked over to fragrance section, Sillage to be exact and the sales lady was texting and when I asked a question she answered rudely, and walked away as if I was wasting her time. I now prefer to buy the merchandise from their boutiques than from Bloomingdales in GLendale, CA. And I see from most reviews is that I'm not alone in this feeling of this store lacking the customer service. read more

I wish that I could write a better review about this location, but my experience here was a little underwhelming to say the least. While this may be a high end department store that sells luxury goods, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The associates that work here need to be trained in proper customer service etiquette. Not once was I greeted by an associate or asked if I needed help. Also, some of them luxury items they have on display are scratched to hell, and every time I found something that I liked I would ask the salesperson if they had another one in the back and the answer would always be "that's all we have." They also need to provide their staff with adequate supplies such as bags and boxes. The poor associate who helped me with my purchase was searching in vain for a box and cover that would fit properly. He finally called a supervisor over for help, and the only help he received from the floor supervisor was a terse "go check in the back." The guy left and went to the back and after waiting for another several minutes, he came back with the smallest box he could find which was a box big enough for a sweater. I bought a wallet. Finally, I decided to cut my losses and return the product I JUST PURCHASED and decided to take my business somewhere else. I wish I could say I like this location, but I can't. Don't get me wrong, the products they sell here are kick ass and the presentation is impeccable, but all of that is nothing unless you have a staff that can sell the goods. Till next Yelp! read more

New store! The staff is soooo nice and helpful! I was there past closing time still trying on clothes and they still spent time explaining things to me and showing 110% amazing customer service! They really know how to treat their guests and I love that! Yes, it is an expensive place but sometimes they have good deals! Especially when it is a holiday weekend! Yesterday I was there and I got 50% off my clothing because of Labor Day weekend! You need to search, but you will find some awesome stuff for a good price! This is probably the worst Bloomingdale's location they have hence why it's always dead. The employees are unapproachable and they all look tired. I was in the beauty and fragrance dept asked one of the employees if she could help me find a gift she offered me Jo Malone candles I asked if there is anything else she told me to try upstairs clothing dept and walked away started talking with her coworker. Clearly if I wanted to buy clothes I wouldn't be downstairs in the fragrance dept. It seems like none of them want to help you when you're looking for a salesperson they don't make eye contact with you so you don't ask them anything. read more

Every time they would connect me to the "executive office" straight to VM which was full. I called back three times and they were very rude. Although I am thrilled that this Bloomingdales is a lot closer than Beverly Center or South Coast, I can't say it's my favorite. The store itself is a bit cramped and I don't feel like their associates are as friendly, knowledgeable, or willing to help. Perhaps it's because this is still a new store and needs some time. The plus side is their cosmetics area. Lots of counters and last week when we went, we were able to pick up items that were sold out in many other stores. Parking is also convenient, now that there are signs directing you right to the Bloomingdales entrance! I'll be coming back for convenience sake, but will still be sticking to the South Coast location in general (especially since they have a Chanel boutique there!). read more

Horrible horrible customer service, do not order anything online from them, purchased a fair of shoes from their app and they charged me 3 times for total amount of $1500 I called and talked to one of their representatives over the phone trying to figure out what was going on and while I was on the phone they charged me again for the 4th time and the guy said he might have accidentally done something wrong that I got charged again. No way am I naive to think this review is going to change anything, but I guess at least it could be added to their list of one star reviews. Maybe one day management will wake up. The manager of this store should consider observing his/her employees or sending them to customer service training. They're absolutely horrible in every way, shape or form. Yesterday I stopped by the online pick up desk around 8:20 pm and there was one employee helping a customer out, while 2 were literally standing around not doing anything and another one was doing her own thing on the cash register. I wish I could have recorded the way these woman stared me down. No smile, faces full of attitude and they found it extremely challenging to open their mouths to ask how they could help. It was as if I inconvenienced them by stopping by the store. Talk about judging a book by its cover. Not all of your customers will walk in decked out in brand name clothes and bags. I had purchased a perfume online and had simply come to pick it up. Finally, I asked where the line is since clearly they seemed bothered that they had to do their job and they tell me to go to the girl that was working on the cash register. I wish I had the chance to get their names, but I do remember that the girl on the cash register was African American. She didn't even smile or at least ask how she could help me. I literally had to force them to simply give me the perfume I had already paid for online. I mean...unbelievable. So excited!!! I love Bloomingdale's . They carry the best brands/ designers in all departments. I got in today for the preview.11/7. So happy to get a $25 gift card! They really made it look nice n classy. How can I explain! Modern/ clean look... I guess because it is a preview day today, I should expect everything clean, neat and well organized! Service was impeccable - she paid attention to every detail and anticipated what I would need when choosing salon shoes. I didn't know about the free lifetime re-sole service they offer! Worst experience ever. I came in with my sister in law and I was trying on tops and decided to leave the fitting room and ask one of the workers for a size. I approach a group of workers and asked if one of the ladies can get me a size. Tiffany, proceeded to look at me with an attitude and said "Um was I the one helping you? No it was amber" which mind you this was the first time I had asked for a size from anyone. Amber helped me out and brought the proper size for me. As I was checking out, Tiffany was standing behind the register with another employee and proceeded to throw me dirty looks and make a comment to her fellow employee saying, "Did you see the way the b*tch looked at me?". As if I could not hear her, and she walked away. I have never in my life been so appalled. You should be lucky I am shopping in this damn store. What gives you the right to talk to anyone like that? Good selection, VERY mixed service. Arpi and Julie in women's clothes are great. But too often I find myself chasing around sales associates or standing around with armfuls of clothing waiting for help. The shoe department is the worst with this. Poor Natalee runs around trying to help several customers at once while her coworkers stand around tapping their toes and looking at their phones. On a whim I purchased a pair of sunglasses from here and received pretty good service. Two ladies helped who were really nice. Came here a few weeks later to purchase a some bras and it took about 20 minutes to be acknowleged. I knew I should have left at that point but I really wanted a new bra. So, I made the first move and asked the lady for help. (I am ok with that but maybe say at least hi when somebody enters your department) She was nice but told me no to certain bras that I picked out, but when I tried the others she suggested and they looked terrible. She brought me the ones she was initially telling me no to. Flustered and confused, I decided it was time to leave as I wasn't getting anywhere. One woman in women's clothing was talking about how she likes this job because it doesn't require her to use her brain and chatting about her trips to London while completely ignoring every customer that walked by. Features Louis Vuitton and Gucci stores inside Bloomingdale's and adjacent to each other. Employees are very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Counters are cleaned and sanitized. Spacious and calm ambient bathrooms which are regularly cleaned and maintained. Employees consistently ask customer's if they need validation for FREE Parking. 3 stars. Would've been 5 had it not been for the horrible service I've gotten at the Gucci boutique every time I go in there. The store and all of its SA's at This Bloomingdales location have been nothing but amazing! They're very helpful and aren't as pushy as some of the other SA's at other department stores. It's always a pleasure shopping here and I love the layout of the store. The Gucci boutique on the other hand has always been a waiting game with me. I don't know if it's because I look really young or whatever but every time I go in, I always wait literally 20 minutes before one of the SA's asks if I need help. Today, one of the SA's helped me pick a belt but left midway to help another customer. Like not only did I have to wait to get his attention, he left mid way to help someone else who didn't even buy anything! I've gotten better service at the Michael Kors store in The galleria than i have had at this Gucci store. Every time I go in, I always feel like I'm a fool for just standing there waiting to get help while other customers go in an automatically get a welcomed hello and help. The Louis Vuitton boutique on the other hand has amazing customer service! The SA's are very quick to help you out and won't stop helping you to go help someone else. This Gucci store really needs to step up their customer service and take notes from the Louis Vuitton boutique on how to treat their customers with respect. read more

I don't want to waste much time, as this even frustrates me, thinking about the entire experience at Bloomingdale's, Glendale, CA. Christmas shopping for my wife, wanted a specific Burberry purse, not the heavily handled floor model. The attendant recommended order one, pay the expedited shipping and it will be brand new. It was not brand new! But, another floor model, with handling marks. Called to follow up, a 'manager' (leaving names out) promised to get back to me within two days after Christmas to rectify the issue. Never heard from either of them. Finally called customer support, refunding purchase, giftwrapping charge and un-enrolling me in their loyalty program; which I had no interest in prior, and certainly not now. Reordered from Neiman Marcus. Considering I was shopping four days prior to Christmas, I understand it was busy, and errors could happen. But after two phone calls, and zero replies, no excuse for a store of this caliber. Let them see the same fate as Sears, or JC Penny stores. read more

Excellent customer service. I purchased a pair of jeans from them close to six months ago and needed alterations performed on them. Bloomingales doesn't normally do this for free, however, the customer service rep on the phone told me they do. I came in to the store and they explained they don't offer that service for free, however, they will alter my jeans for free because I was misinformed from the previous representative. When spending a good chunk of money on sun glasses, you would expect them to clean the lenses before putting it in the case and bag. Brought home the glasses, took them out and here finger prints are on the lenses... Really??? Looked like she just ate potato chips and did not wipe her fingers. I do like the mens section. My worst shopping experiences in the LA. I used to shop for dresses and shoes at Bloomingdales and have always enjoyed the merchandises and services. Recently bought a pair of shoes at the Newport Beach location and had really great service received from a male sales rep. I was in a hurry to get the shoes and was skeptical about the size. He told me if I wore it and not comfortable, I can exchange for the size. I wore the shoes out for a night and it was hurting badly so I brought it to this Glendale store hoping they could exchange the size for me. The female rep and her supervisor both refused to fulfill the services that was given by the Npb store and claimed that exchange is only acceptable if the shoes condition is new. It was stated in the receipt that ' certain exclusions apply' and for my case, I was hoping that all location provides the same services. Apparently, this is one of the reasons that this Glendale location has such a low review. It is disappointing that the supervisor only response with a standard answer and not willing to consider my situation - she made me feel that she didn't even care about the customer but only convey the standard policy. She even said ' you should go back to the Newport Beach location'. From Glendale, LA to Newport Beach? What a shooort distance isn't it??? I would give this store zero star review if yelp allowed. Very disappointing about my overall experience at Bloomingdales's. Nordstrom is a much better choice! read more

Started shopping at Bloomingdale's in Glendale. I have ordered a couple of Ferragamo belts, a Burberry belt and a pair Ferragamo dress shoes. Upon receiving one of the belts it came with no box, no dust bag or booklet. The second belt came also with no box just in a plastic bag with bubble wrap. The shoes came in a beat up stained box also with no dust bag or booklet. Same as the Burberry belt no box, no dust bag. That's not good when your trying to give it as a present to someone. I hope they start taking more time in details than just trying to get your hard earned money. read more

Beware! Opened up a store credit card at their jewelry counter in May/2017. Several fraudulent purchases of expensive items were made before we even received the card! No fraud alert/call from Bloomingdales till the 5th purchase!!!! How can someone buy all these expensive items without a picture ID/any form of identification AND apparently on dif occasions!!?!
