This location was the closest one to me that was offering curbside pick-up, otherwise, I would've needed to drive to Brea. I had some rewards to use, so I placed an order online for curbside pick-up. Order was ready the same day (because I placed before 3 pm), but I wasn't able to make it that day. They hold your order for 4 days, so I made sure I finished work and got on the road at 6:15 pm to get to Glendale before Express was done for the day at 7 pm. The email didn't give any instructions on where to go for curbside pick-up, so BF checked for me while I drove. For those wondering, you go to Section A, the side where the Galleria food court is. You pull into any of the curbside pick-up designated spots and call the merchant to tell them you are here and which spot you are parked in. I arrived at 6:49 pm and promptly called Express to let them know I was here to pick up my order. No one picked up. I walked towards the mall entrance and found a security guard. I asked if he could check if Express had closed up early for the day. He couldn't leave his post, so he radio'ed for help while suggesting I call again. I did and finally someone picked up. The associate mentioned they were all packed up for the day (gee, that would've been nice to mention in the email that the posted 7 pm closing hours aren't being followed) and tried to punt off letting me get my order. I already drove 18 miles to get here; I wasn't going to come back another day, especially when I arrived and called before they were even closed. That would've been a waste of time. The Express associate then asked me what car I drove so she could identify it (ignoring the parking number that's given per Galleria curbside pick-up policy) in getting me my order. When she arrived, it was very obvious she was already done for the day and heading home (clock barely registered 7 pm). She didn't even check my ID to verify she was handing off the order to the right person. Luckily, I don't have any more rewards with Express to redeem and have no further items I need to purchase. The sizes have always been accurate with my fit and I've never had any issues with the quality. The online ordering has always been quick and easy. Went in a couple weeks ago with just a few ideas for a Gala outfit and an open mind. Right away Sheryl greeted us and helped us our entire visit. She not only was extremely kind but also gave us great suggestions, recommended her personal favorites (definitely bought those pants) and even went out of her way to make sure I had a complete outfit by the very end. All while making me feel confident, taken care of and supported. I often don't like to shop due to past experiences of employees in other stores not wanting to help or not offering fashion forward suggestions but Sheryl all in all made me feel seen and heard for once. Not to mention the selection in the store and the other staff we had interactions with were also extremely friendly. Just an update on a previous review; Express has always provided me with the coolest shirts, work pants and jeans, the staff are really helpful and their product exceptionally well made. The quality of their garments are really good which in my opinion is worth every penny you'll pay. If you want to save some extra bucks, sign-up online to receive their special discount coupons, some are valid with already discounted items but some don't, make sure to read the fine print to avoid confusion at the check out counter. Their styles vary per season as to be expected in any fashion line, end of the season stocks are a good way to snag those items deemed too expensive when they first come out. I personally like this store and recommends checking them out, their styles are contemporary & preppy which showcases their work quality and style. read more

I'm so bummed that I didn't catch the name of the sales associate who rang me up. She was so sweet and was so helpful. I came across several other store associates during my last visit to the store. One of them stood in front of me and looked at me in what seemed like disgust and made it so she continued to block my path so I was forced to go back around to the other side of the store to get where I was going. Another thing, another store associate seemed like she wasn't too busy. And so, I asked about whether or not there were a certain top that I was looking for available in a different size and possibly other colors. She scoffed, said something to other associates over the walkie and then walked off without helping me. She'd looked at me dead straight in my eye so I knew she saw and heard me. Ughh. I needed to tend to my lil one and so I asked an associate to hold a few items for me. When I returned, NONE of my items had been put on hold, at least not under my name. I asked for the particular items and sure enough they'd been put on hold under a totally different name. That wasn't helpful at all. I ended feeling like I might be between sizes and so I asked for the opinion of the cashier. She told me about her experiences with some of the items. I was so glad to have someone to ask about their products as I have not been able to get into so many of them until more recently. $120 for 2 pairs of jeans seemed a bit steep but I figured I'd treat myself. I'm so glad that I did. The jeans were perfect length and wash. I wasn't going to have to spend more moolah to get my jeans hemmed or anything. So, I think it actually worked out well. I hear my jeans will stretch too with wear, so I'm looking forward to that as well. My favorite parts of my visit were finding that I could get back into a lot of items that I'd been meaning to try on and possibly buy and having worked with the cashier so nicely. Had it not been for her, I would have had a pretty miserable visit. For the cashier, 5 stars!!! For the others who did NOT help me, 0 stars. The store otherwise was pretty neat and clean. I think there was only one fitting room open but that's OK. I think I was the only one who'd been going in and out of there. Bradley L., I think you and I visited the store on the same day. I recently made a purchase online from Express for Christmas gifts for my family. This purchase was made on November 18, 2024, and delivered on November 21, 2024. As I was wrapping my gifts, I realized that 2 of the 6 items ordered needed to be returned as I did not like the quality of the items. When I contacted customer services, I was informed that I am unable to return the items because they are out of the 30-day return window! I was unaware that Express did not extend the return window for the holidays and now I am stuck with 2 articles of clothing that I do not want and furthermore, my giftees cannot exchange or return the items I purchased as a gift! (I was informed that items purchased from 11/22/24 would be offered an extended return window until 12/31/24) I was sent numerous notifications via email explaining early black Friday deals and I assumed that my gifts would be accepted under the extended return policy. Express needs to consider their strict return policy and improve customer service! I have been a customer for over 30 years and will never shop with this company again! read more

Visited August 14, 2016 I use to shop there A LOT but I stopped when I noticed that they weren't selling as much clothes which were work appropriate. My daughter received a gift card for Christmas so we went shopping. There wasn't anything there that she liked so she gave me her gift card. The worst Express location I'll ever want to visit. Will come up with every excuse to not process returns when in the back of my receipt clearly states I can return within 60 days. The manager would then just continue to point at the "New policy" and is firm with not processing my return. You CANNOT make changes as you see fit when your purchases are STILL within the 60 day agreement on the back of your corporate invoice that was sent to me! I told her this skirt I bought was way too large and she just shrugged her shoulder and again pointed out to the "NEW POLICY". Finding excuses to NOT process is practically CHEATING just because I came 4 minutes prior to closing time! How disappointing! Just a warning to you all customers, brace yourselves prior to you shopping in this store as employees here aren't as attentive and customer service oriented. The associate manager, Maria, is an absolute gem. She helped multiple customers flawlessly and paired me with a beautiful business suit. She totally understood what I wanted and needed. She was incredibly helpful and positive as I needed extra help (I am not inclined with fashion). Also, Paulina was really positive and knowledgeable as she helped me with picking out a few pieces. I loved shopping at the Express store in Glendale after meeting Sheryl 2 weeks ago. I wasn't planning on buying anything, she came up to me with her positive and beautiful energy and asked if I needed help finding anything special. She was so friendly, kind and extremely helpful. I waited for 20 min to return clothes that I purchased online from their website. Once I get to the front, the associate tells me that they don't accept online returns here because of some system failure that affected all express locations and that I should just ship it back to return instead. I got out of line and called both the Montebello and East LA locations to ask if this is true. Both people told me that they would accept the returns and that they had no idea about any system failure..... I don't think I'll ever shop at this location again. read more

I love express, I really do. But this is the most unorganized store that I have even been in. Like the jeans that you see in a stack? None of the jeans in the stack will be the same. Also, good luck finding your size in anything. It's obvious that no one takes the time to keep the store organized like most of the other stores. Everything is thrown wherever and you have to rummage through everything in hopes of finding what you are looking for. Even all of the jewelry is tangled together. .., this is a Men's store also! I usually hit this spot whenever I need dress shirts, ties, or jackets. I used to frequent their location in the Montclair Plaza when I lived in Chino. The service here is great, very spacious store, equipped w/ a good amount of fitting rooms & usually has a great selection. Sometimes the lines here are ridiculous, especially when there is a sale going on. The prices aren't cheap, sometimes way too pricey, but I can always find something I like in my price range. Express just lost me as a customer. I'm sure my couple hundred $$ every other month would not affect their bottom line but it's a matter of principle. Stood in line for 30 min to return an item from a large online purchase, only to be told that they got a word from corporate not yo accept online returns. Well- I wasn't told that when I ordered. If policy changed post my purchase they still should honor it. But they flat out refused. This is complete disregard to the customer and his time. I wasted almost 2 hours between drive bing, dealing with Holliday shoppers overcrowded parking and waiting in line. Worst is yet to come: contacted express with my comments on their service only to be brushed off and asked to call some number to report my issue. After hiking with a friend, we stopped by to look around since I'd never been to the Galleria before. I was still wearing yoga pants and running shoes. When I first walked in there was a nice sales associate at the front of the store who asked if I needed help. I told her I was just browsing. When I reached the back of the store, a different sales assistant looked me up and down and said "Just so you know, this is our PREMIUM line." She pointed towards the front of the store and said "Over THERE is more YOUR tier" and walked away. I love Express. I know they aren't for everyone but I love them. The clothes fit me so well I believe that they are pretty good quality. I love the dress shirts, especially the military style ones, they look amazing! Also the producer pants are a good buy too, they look so good. They have so many colors of shirts and ties, endless possibilities! Also this particular one is pretty cool, I have to commend the manager Maurice, he runs a good store, is and is a tough but fair manager. ***Story Alert*** I bought a suit here but forgot my $40 off coupon, I brought it back the next day and here is what transpired. Me: Can I return this suit and re-buy it with this $40 off coupon? Clerk: We don't do that. Me: OK, Can I speak to the manager? Clerk: Sure. Maurice: What's the issue? Me: I want to return this and re-buy it with this coupon. Maurice: We don't do that. Me: OK, then I just want to return it and I will come back tomorrow to buy it again with this coupon, I can do that right? Maurice: Yes Me: Then why can't I buy it right now? My experiences with shopping at Express are strangely similar to the emotional stages of loss and grief... 1) Denial and isolation - "NO! I will not go shopping! NO! I will not go to Express, the store of sexy work clothes and great pants!" 2) Anger - "I want these pants and that dress and that shirt SO BAD but I shouldn't. I HATE YOU EXPRESS. You tempt me with clothes when I shouldn't be buying things. I HATE YOU." 3) Bargaining - "Well, if I sign up for an Express card, I get 15% off, which makes the pants a little LESS expensive...and....well..." 4) Depression - "I can't believe I just dropped $300 on pants. For work. *GAG*" 5) Acceptance - "I'm glad I bought that." If you haven't noticed, I really love Express pants. But, really, you can't go wrong with them - they always fit PERFECTLY. As for their other clothes, I go through phases with casual/dressy clothes from Express - sometimes they're have the greatest things and sometimes you have to wonder who designed them. But, if you go for the classic pieces (i.e. work friendly pieces), you pretty much look good no matter what. Everything has a younger, feminine cut so you can buy a button up shirt and not look like a man. Basically, Express is a great place to go if you want work clothes but don't want to look like your mom! read more

Came here instead of the Arcadia store (which is so small!). They have a larger selection of clothes and is super organized! They filter out the long/regular pants in one pile and short in another. This way their display isn't messed up immediately by folks looking for the right cut! The dressing rooms are a bit insane. I came at about 8pm on Friday and the store wasn't that busy, but dang there was a lot going on in the dressing room. Had to ask for the same item a few times, but the girls were nice enough. Definitely seems like they might be slightly understaffed when I went. However... definitely can't say no to a 40% or 50% off sale ;) read more

I write this as a casual observer, because my GF loves this store. It's a quite entertaining store, too, because they usually play some really good music while she looks for her clothes and I walk around and explore. At this particular location inside the Glendale Galleria - Express is linked to Express for Men, but I don't shop there. I'm just a tag-along with milady. All of the outfits, jeans, earrings, miscellaneous items she has ever bought have always looked good on her and she can rock those items quite nicely. Express is definitely not for everyone, so check the styles and sizings before you shop. Some items can be expensive but they always send out some generous coupons that can cut costs by a lot, so take advantage if you have them. read more

Formerly known as Structure, this is my favorite place to shop. Their selection is top notch, location is great, service is good and the overall layout provides an overall great shopping experience. I went to the mall for clothes. But I didn't go shopping for just regular street wear, I went shopping for nice clothes like suits it button down shirts. So I found Express and walked in. I went shopping for patterned button downed shirts to be specific and Express had just that. I walked in and the first thing that caught my eye was a button down red floral shirt. So I walked around the store and found a few more shirts to try on. So I went and tried on the few shirts that I had picked out. I only kept a few because the other shirts didn't have my size. The service was great. Michael was a great help to us and was very patient and friendly. Overall I would give Express an 8.2 out of ten for the great clothes and great service. read more

I want to commend store managers Maria and Aline for their exceptional service when processing an in-store return. Unfortunately there was an error in a return made the weekend prior that required my husband and I to go back to the store. Maria assisted us with a smile, figured out what needed to be done, and kept us updated throughout the process (all while multi-tasking beautifully to make sure other customers were taken care of). Maria consistently thanked us for our patience, and Aline checked in on us from time to time. (Aline also went out of her way to find a shirt I thought was no longer in stock!) Though we were there a while, I am really impressed at how attentive, patient, and friendly Maria and Aline are. Cynthia, one of the managers was talking garbage about me behind my back and then refused to schedule me any more days without any notice. The clothes and the pay are a joke. Great service! I came in 2/15 around 5:00pm and the two ladies were extremely helpful. I expected to buy maybe one or two new tops and walked out purchasing $200 of new clothes because of them. They were very helpful in the fitting room when I needed a different size and the gal also helped zipped my dress up in the back. I also appreciate her taking the time to ask me what style pants I'm looking for and point out which area of the store has them, it saved me time and frustration. Also the fitting room attendant reserved my room and added a top she thought I would like. It was 5 star service, I felt like they were personal shoppers and I walked out with some great picks because of them. Very happy customer! Will return next payday :) read more
