Our stash to try on inside of our changing room

La dee da, dee da da da dee da...Yep...that's how ya feel the minute you walk in. You'll get gobsmacked by the spaciousness & large variety of fashion. There are plenty of casual & fitness wear for your "not so" upscale days as well. *Something for all occasions* According to Alexandra, one of the managers, this location has been at the Americana for 3 years & is the biggest one. She also informed me that "ARITZIA" originated in Canada. Their first boutique opened in Vancouver in 1984 and in 1999 they went national. By November 2007, they opened a few locations in the USA and the rest is history! Today was my first day at any ARITZIA and I'm hooked. All the racks were neatly stacked and easy to sift through. Kelly was kind enough to take our clothes that were growing off our arms into the changing area while we continued to browse. The changing area reminded me of Goldie Hawn's closet in "Overboard!" Lots of mirrors and pleather sofas to relax on. The changing room was quite nice as well. If we needed a different size there was a friendly face to get it for us. The lovely Michelle checked us out and I have to mention Eric! He impressed me with his amazing style & sense of fashion...which isn't an easy task with this fashionista:). *Their size start at XXS - XXL *Parking available at the Americana (a fee), across the street at the Glendale Galleria (free), or at the lot located next to the Americana off of Central (free) *Great sale going on right now!!! 30 - 60% off select items.

I am big fan of this Canadian brand. I came here during weekday and place was empty. Staff were nice to me and they brought me all sizes that I needed. Love that the store is so spacious and have different styles.

What a cute store! I was shopping for my daughter's homecoming dress and ended up walking out with a few things. I loved the decor. I was a bit confused about how everything was laid out but managed to get to where they had some dresses. The dressing room is fabulous with comfy chairs although they started to look a bit worn. The prices were very reasonable and had some super cute pleated skirts too. I love that I only had to go to 2 stores to find something that my daughter liked. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They even noticed that we had takeout from Din Tai Fung down the street and were asking us what we ordered. My daughter loved the experience as well, which I appreciate. I started following them on Instagram and I am sure I will buy some more things in the future.

They forgot to rip off Levi's price tag and charged me their jacked up price. Oops!

I LOVED Aritzia and have been shopping there for so many years prior to them opening in California. I'm originally from Toronto and would always stock up every time I visited until their San Jose location opened in 2014. What kept me coming back : their selection of denim and jackets but my last experience with the Glendale location turned me off. This location is literally a ZOO. The staff that works here are all young girls who give zero hecks about customer service. The girl that rung us up was nice though! This was my first time experiencing this store and I will never go back. I don't remember their employees from other locations being so unprofessional like here. Despite their consistent amazing denim selection, I wasn't very happy with what I discovered : On my last pair of Levi's jeans, there was two price tags. One was an Aritzia one and another was a Levi's one. They forgot to remove it but I did let them know and the customer service rep said they didn't do price matching. I just said, you guys jacked up the price of your jeans because you clearly forgot to rip off the other suggested price tag. Being a loyal Aritzia customer since I was in high school, I am well aware they do not price match. They gave me no time to explain my issue and just dismissed me. It's like going into Footlocker and seeing a pair of Nikes marked as $120.00 on the box by Nike and having the store's price be much higher. Not a good look Aritzia, you had my business for over 2 decades and just lost 2 customers.

Treehaus, on the other hand, had a ton of pieces that I've never seen before, either in Los Angeles or elsewhere. This shop carries a couple lines of interesting jewelry collections (I particularly liked the more industrial/brutalist of them), a range of adult and baby clothes and an interesting and eclectic line of eye wear. While the adult clothing skews toward femme, I would describe many of them as unisex, which fits the cool queer/feminist vibe of the shop. There were a lot of cool housewares that, again, I've never seen before. These range from the practical (metal soap dishes) to the purely aesthetic (fun art prints of famous spots in LA.) Lots of retro designs can be found to decorate your living space. Other things I really enjoyed: a human bone and organ ink stamp collection, fun notebooks and adorable stuffed animals. And of course, they had a great collection of books and cards. Prices were on par for quality. It's very middle of the road for a gift shop or boutique. The clerks on duty were friendly and personable. I would definitely have felt comfortable going to them with questions. I will definitely return the next time I'm shopping for a friend.

Fantastic store, little gem. Very courteous and professional staff as well. Will return!read more

Then later around 3pm I happened to be driving by and they looked open, so I figured I'd give it another try. The doors were locked and said to ring the doorbell, after ringing it twice the owner finally decided to get up and open it only to tell me that I cannot come in because the store is "by appointment only". The store was completely empty, yet she wouldn't let me in. I went to this store because I saw a review on Vintage Vortex's page that said Vintage Vortex sucks, and to go to Cherry-pick because it is so much better. Well, after being turned away from Cherry-pick I went back to that review and realized that the lady in the profile pic is the lady who answered the door...the review was made by the owner of this store. So not only is the owner turning away customers, she is dogging other businesses and promoting her store on their yelp pages. Definitely not the kind of person I want to be giving any of my money to.. No where on the website, instagram, or yelp page does it say that this store is by appointment only. I drove 40 mins to get to this store, if there weren't other amazing thrifts in the area this would've been a huge waste of my time. Do not go here.
