This review is for Aerie, since I do not see a page for it yet on here. I wanted to add to what another reviewer posted last year. The people at American Eagle are generally more chill, on average, based on past experiences shopping there. I used to shop here regularly for lingerie and PJs, but after dealing with behavior from employees that felt kind of "off" and changes in branding, sizing, and quality of items, I had to cut back on shopping here. When I go here to shop, I feel as if I annoy the employees just by being in the room. They changed the lineup on their bras and undies. For some styles, a lot of people reported changes in sizing, fit, and band length for some of their newer bras. I think their Real Free is now rebranded as SMOOTHEZ. Their cotton boy-briefs are also not as soft and comfortable as the previous versions, either. The Sydney Sweeney ad controversy was the icing on the cake, as someone who used to watch Euphoria back in 2021. I will still shop here, but only when necessary, maybe once every few years when I need more PJs or intimates. I am very mindful of what I buy here now. read more

I visited this store looking for sweaters and sweatshirts. I was greeted as I walked in by a young friendly lady. This store has a huge selection of jeans, shirts, clothes. They also have a small selection of accessories. For price, I would say they are reasonably priced in today's market. They usually have sales year around which is great. I would that the cashier lady was not that friendly and had an attitude. The reason I gave five stars is for the associates working on the floor and great selection of clothing. For parking, I would say it is find to parking spot since it is located in the mall. read more

The staff of American Eagle are always what shines for me. The stores are well maintained and stocked, they're clean and inviting, but the staff always seems to go out of their way to make sure I have a wonderful experience, even if I don't end up purchasing anything. And that goes for both the American Eagle and Aerie side. Remember, you can always shop at one side and checkout at the other. So if there's a long checkout line, just venture over to the other side and see if you can check out faster. Price here is fine. It's not expensive, but it's definitely not what I would call 'discount clothing.' But if you hope wisely, you can find some great sales that help stretch your dollar. In all, don't pass up on American Eagle. Even if it's not a shop you usually go in to, you never know what you are going to find. If anything, you'll get a great staff to interact with. read more

This review is for AERIE. I come to this aerie very often, have always had amazing service. The workers are always checking up on me and grabbing different sizes. However, I came in today on a Monday(6/13) and it was not too busy, I showed a younger worker a photo of some pants online asking if they had it in store. She doesn't even look at it and immediately says no and walks away??? I then go to the fitting room that same worker , was there I asked to try on some clothes she doesn't even turn around and look at me and she goes , give me a second and continues to fold clothes I wait about a minute or two for her to turn around and come. I understand being busy with a customer , but the fact she was just rude is very disappointing. read more

This store has gotten very popular due to all the media blitz. There were many customers inside looking for new jeans to purchase. I was looking for an AE tshirt to wear but the sizes are very odd and even an XS size looks like a boxy large size. The customer service is great here because if you are looking lost the employees will approach to assist you. read more

American Eagle - Sweeney Trending AUG2025 - Women's Clothing Near Me - Glendale, California

I tried to return a part of an instore order 2 weeks ago but since i didn't have my AEO CC on hand, I was told I could only receive store credit. I asked the associate Vanessa when is my last day to ensure I make the return window and she told me I had until 8/18. I came back from being out of town and went to the store today in time to return the item, only for Vanessa to tell me she can't refund me and only give a store credit. When I told her, I was given the wrong info (by her because I didn't want to make her feel bad), Vanessa gave me the customer service line telling me to request a new receipt to assist me. I thought "yay, I can get this resolved", but customer service told me there is no such thing recommending I go to another store to see if that manager will allow the return? Ma'am in this economy you want me to drive to different stores? I am frustrated that I wasted my time twice, given wrong info twice, and can't get my money back as I wanted. I don't want store credit when you barely carry my sizes in store and I prefer online shopping only. Terrible customer service. read more

I had what I felt was like the best customer service ever. The moment I came inside I was greeted and asked if I was looking for something which I was after browsing online. The worker pointed me to the right place and said someone would come over to help me. That last part didn't happen because I found what I needed and proceeded to the fitting room. At the fitting room, the attendant helped me get a larger size so I didn't have to leave. After finishing up, I decided to look around the store once more. I saw a nice top on a mannequin and couldn't find it in store. The workers noticed and helped me locate the shirt. This was the most help I've ever received especially without asking. PS. Needed a fresh look for my nieces quinceañera, and American Eagle didn't disappoint! At stores like Gap and Banana Republic, I didn't receive much support from associates. However, at AE, it really was quite the opposite. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly. (This is about aerie, next door) I wish I could leave a 0 out of 5 stars. I went in to get some help and was constantly getting stared at by the employees. I asked one girl for help (a little on the bigger side with curly hair) and she was super rude. I could tell she did not want to help me at all. All employees in the store seemed to have a rude attitude and entitlement to themselves. They do not seem very welcoming at all. read more

I came here to buy some cute bike shorts, but overheard an interaction between another customer and a sales associate that was super touching. The customer was looking for some leggings for her daughter, and she described her daughter as having "difficult" proportions to fit. She described her daughter's body type to the sales associate, who immediately said "that sounds like a beautiful body - I'm sure she would feel great in these." I was so touched and impressed by the compassionate language that the sales associate used. I wish I got her name so I could give her a shoutout. I came in to return some stuff I had purchased less than a month earlier. I had the receipt and all tags were in tact. I had made this purchase using my ApplePay, but the cashier said they couldn't process a return with ApplePay and I would need the physical card. I said that's fine and I would come back when my replacement card arrived for my debit since I had lost it earlier and was waiting for the replacement. An older lady with blonde hair I believe to be the manager interjected and said I still won't be able to return since the last 4 numbers on the card won't match.... what? What a terrible policy. It's the same card and account that I used to purchase, just a replacement. I even called AE customer service and was met with the most terrible service and attitude I've ever experienced with a retailer. It seems like they're going out of business. The kicker is that when my new debit card arrived, I took the stuff to another American Eagle and they accepted the return with no issues. The worker here shouldn't have added the "you still won't be able to return" because it wasn't even true. I will never enter or shop at an AE again. read more

So I came here directly from a hike, was supposed to only purchase a gown at Macy but I felt completely uncomfortable what I was wearing. So I ended up coming to this store. I tend to shop at American Eagle at Commerce, but from now definitely coming to this one. The service in this American Eagle was beyond amazing. First person the greeted me and helped me was Myra, explain to her what I wanted and found definitely what I was looking for. When I went into the dressing room Maria and Daniel assisted me. Both super sweet and friendly, I would ask for a recommendation or different seize and were super eager to help. Maria ended up find the perfect jeans for me and it's honestly impossible. I went to their Aerie store (right next to the American Eagle in the Glendale Galleria) today. I was immediately welcomed at the door into a clean shop. The person who helped me find what I was looking for was named Alexa, and she also checked me out at the register.
