I've frequented this location a few times, but never found anything I really wanted to try on until today. The stars are for the nice girl that started my fitting room for me - that's where the good experience ended. THERE'S NO MIRRORS IN THE FITTING ROOMS. Make it make sense! Actually I know why they do this - it's to force you out into the big shared space with the mirror so they can sell sell sell. Personally I found this humiliating. I was wearing a dress but trying on shorts so my only options were to keep my dress on and bunch it up at my waist and try to determine if the shorts looked good in this insane situation, or let the public see me in my bra. HARD PASS. If you remotely have any body image sensitivity avoid avoid avoid. The quality also isn't that great - it's more expensive than Zara but seems very cheaply made. It was also massively disorganized in the store with inconsistent size runs. All around not worth it. read more

The male sales associate with the bleached hair seems to hate his life. I buy the majority of my clothing from Aritzia, albeit I usually shop online. For the first time ever I brought a return into the store because the back of the dress was literally see-through. Went in initially for a refund but ended up exchanging for a higher priced item. The store was flooded with tweens so I decided against even trying the new item on. I'm familiar enough with their sizing I didn't think it was absolutely necessary, but a lot of people might not be in that position. When I went to check out the male associate barely said a word to me and what he did say I could barely hear because of the music blasting. Did he speak up? Nope. Got annoyed at having to repeat himself. Welp, turn the music down. That's not my problem. This person shouldn't be working with people. I'll avoid this store like the plague. read more

The few times I have visited Aritzia have been nothing but stellar! I'm shocked and saddened by the other negative reviews... I have gone early during the late morning/early afternoon on weekdays to avoid the massive crowds, so perhaps that explains my different experience. I have consistently been greeted and approached every time I've entered Aritzia. The staff here are wonderful, I do believe they work off of a commission -- once a staff member approaches you, they consistently go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Once you enter the fitting room, all the staff there remember your name and check up on you from time to time. There's no pressure, just bubbly, positive energy. I've been searching for clothes to wear out to a fancy dinner, etc. and it was amazing to see how knowledgeable the staff were about the clothes. Shoutout to Joanne! She was bringing in tons of recommendations to the fitting room; I really appreciated her knowledge, help, and warm personality. Now, like the other reviews mention, the fitting rooms are a bit of a sticky situation. Some fitting rooms have mirrors, some do not. I'm not gonna lie, the first time I was trying on clothes it was a little daunting to have to walk all the way out to see what the clothes look like on you. Ironically though, I did enjoy the experience of stepping out - I got to connect with other customers who were also trying on clothes, gave and received compliments. It was a positive experience overall, but I can see how this would be overwhelming on a weekend when it's very crowded. I have bought tops, jeans, and trousers from Aritzia -- the prices are high, but the quality is definitely there. My favorite brands are Agolde (denim is very well made) and Babaton (their ribbed crop tops are so cute!). Parking: show your receipt to concierge and you'll receive validation for parking. This review is for Valerie! I'm a classical flutist and my ensemble had a concert the next day. I came in the night before to look for an all black outfit. She approached me and asked if I needed any help and I explained to her the occasion and what my preferences in clothing were and she was on it! She brought me so many options, I could swear I tried on every black piece of clothing in that store! Even options that I hadn't asked for she brought just to see if I would like it. She was extremely patient and I even thanked her for her patience , I was there for two hours and she was just happy to help me. I got endless compliments on my outfit the day of the concert, my boyfriend could not stop telling me how hot I looked in the fit! there were a few other girls who approached me as well when I was in the fitting rooms and they also gave me suggestions and their inputs on outfits, I did not get their names ): but I'm sure they know who they are. Omgggg this place is the worst. Too bad because they have such cute clothes and brands I love like AGOLDE. But the staff here always make me regret going in the first place. Went in a couple of times this past week - there's probably around 10 women working and not one asked if I needed help with anything. I was also holding a bunch of clothes and no one offered to give me a room. Unless you look like a model or "influencer," don't bother coming in. You will be ignored (maybe even looked up and down). Personally, my experience on the floor was excessive. I had a bunch of clothes in my arms and honestly was casually looking. No need for a fitting room just yet. While others just holding a few item and looking for someone for a size was not being helped at all. By the time I went into the fitting room the lady that took all the clothes didn't check up on me at all. The fitting room service was none at all. [] Fitting room There are no mirrors inside the actual room besides the handicap one. tbh I kinda get it but don't! I get the aesthetics but that's just a disgrace. Also, the fitting room associates don't really do anything. I literally can inform the manager about how her boyfriend lacks cooking for her and where she goes to thrift shop. Also can hear a customer chat with her friends she isn't wearing any underwear. -_- I will give it to them when I actually stepped outside to use the mirror they acknowledged me. But tbh not trying to "model" what I'm trying on to the public. [] Sizing I'm not a size 0 and all the racks really just have the smaller sizes at the moment. Maybe a frequent stock check when downtime is available - can be what is needed vs trying to stop an associate to judge and assist you. [] Return Policy 10days that's it. This is probably the main reason I am leaving this review. I'm a shopper that goes home and try's different outfits with my new clothes and if it's not working the same way it did in store I will return it. I dont return that often but honestly the company should consider real people here. I shop at Aritzia a lot. Almost all the clothes that I own are from Aritzia. Coming from Seattle, I think I am very used to the stores back home. I visited this particular location 3 times - first time I was helped by this Asian girl who was really nice, but I didn't end up getting anything because I was all over the place and pretty hectic at that point, second time I went in and Keely helped me. Keely was super nice and gave really good (yet not overwhelming suggestions. Maybe she added 2 pieces to the 6 pieces I picked out), put me in the bigger fitting room with my own mirror. The third time was the worst and made me want to write this review. My third time going in was seriously so bad - it was on a Sunday and I get it, super crowded... But ya know what, no one is attending to the customers! I usually only had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to help me out... but this time. 0. ZERO. I was holding on to quite a number of items. The Asian girl helping me the first time was there and she literally did not acknowledge me, she kinda also looked the other way when I was approaching her nor even said hi (not that I expect her to remember me), but I think that's pretty standard being a SA (?!). I walked into the fitting room and one of the girls just put me in the room. Didn't say anything, didn't check back. I tried on one piece and just left. I geddit... some people don't like being bothered and know what they want. But there are also some people like me who like being suggested this or that without being pushy and sometimes, that takes more effort and work for the SAs. It seriously left a bad impression. The sad thing is... I am pretty loyal to Aritzia and love buying their clothes but if that's how you treat customers... I'm going to have to seek elsewhere for clothes. I agree with the other reviewers. Customer service sucks. You have to dress the part for the sales associates to help you. Never will I do business at this place again. I was waiting in line to do a return and a girl just cut in front of me. Obviously, I said I was waiting in line. One of the sales associate who was helping her saw the incident and decided to get her and ring her up. Wow! I gave her a piece of my mind. She was not even apologetic! She was very snobbish!! I definitely had a different experience at this location, so I thought I'd share my experience. The store opened promptly at 11 on Sunday, and there were already people waiting to get in. The associate opening the doors was super friendly and greeted everyone who walked in. I was asked (relatedly) if I needed help. As I started finding a couple items to try on, they started a room for me. I was super surprised when I went back to my fitting room to find that they added things for me to try on. At first, I was kind of miffed, to be honest. Like...don't try to upsell me, you know? Let's be real though, when we get our hair styled, we go because we want an expert to do it. We take our car to a mechanic because the understand the vehicle. Shopping, when done right, is no different. The associate chose pieces I was initially side-eyeing, but gosh darn it if she wasn't on to something. Some of the pieces pushed me a little (I don't like tight dresses), and some pieces just looked meh on the hanger, but I was totally wrong I ended up buying three (!) of the "bonus" try on items. The store was clean, the associates were nice (the mixed gal who was thin and super stylish was the best!), and everything was organized. They had good sizing representation and offered to order a dress that they didn't have in my size and color. The clothing is stylish, quality, and elevated. I've been around Americana so many times that every new store that opens, I get pretty excited to try going all over the places. This store became one of my favourite stores. Specially their staff. They are so patient and kindly welcome you. Fitting rooms are so wide and huge, it feels like you are just in your own room trying out your clothes. ANASTASIA, is my favourite person who helped me to decide what to wear and get into my desire needs. I had to do photo shooting and I was pretty much lost and didn't know what I was looking for. She took time from her life to help me choosing few of their great outfits. She is fantastic when It comes to choosing the right clothes . I never was into shopping in store until I came here today. Beautiful store with the most attentive employees I've ever encountered. My shopping experience was just amazing and effortless. I wanted to compliment the team to the gentleman who was carrying a clipboard around this afternoon but never had a chance to approach since he was helping someone out. I felt very discriminated and uncomfortable in this store. When I first walked in there was 2 females who looked and me and didn't even welcome me in. I came in to look for some jumpsuits and while browsing around no one asked if I was okay or needed help. I finally went you to a girl with light brown and asked her where if there were any jumpsuits in the store, she laughed a little then said we might have some in the back 2 rooms if we do. The whole time she couldn't even make eye contact with me. In the past, I really loved this store for their service and the fact that they valued their customers, but today I do not recommend that you buy anything, because when I came to return the clothes, 21 days after the purchase, they refused to return me and refused in exchange. I was very upset referring to that. What does the manager have? your rules within 10 days exchange or return of goods. Is anyone else super annoyed they don't have mirrors in each dressing room? Instead they only have mirrors OUTSIDE the dressing rooms so you have to try an item on and go out in the main area to see how it looks so the attendant can tell you how good you look to try to sell you on it. This is cruel - let me see if the shorts fit before I get a randos unsolicited biased opinion!! I am from Vancouver BC. My Daughter who is a model shops there and spends about $3000-$4000 a year there. I buy a couple things a year there. I have to warn you about their return practices. When it says "SALE" and it only has $5 off a $98 item beware! It's only $5 off but it changes the return policy to NO RETURNS NO EXCEPTIONS. It's expensive there. The return policy on full priced items is only 10 days. No exceptions. If you buy online and it's on sale and faulty watch out! Beware. No returns. Not without a fight in person. My Daughter bought a long swing coat there for $168. A large seam was apart. She bought it but did not wear it for a couple weeks. It was brand new when she put it on and noticed seam was faulty. She asked for a repair. No can do! No return offered. No repair. Full priced item. You buy a pair of Levi's on sale online...they don't fit? Out of luck. No return. I went in once (without beautiful Daughter) and I am not an influencer or young. I asked to get a price on an item since tag was missing. SA goes to cash but instead starts ringing up other customers. I think she's coming back. She comes out but proceeded to yet help another customer right beside me! I give up on her but she still has my item I want to try on. She avoids me and I get a different SA to get the price. I feel so abused by then that once I get a price I leave. I called the manager after thinking about the obvious snub for no reason other than being "old" and call manager to complain. She knows me and my Daughter spend thousands there and knows us personally. I finally tell her and she knows we are not complainers and one of their best customers. Offers me $50 gift card. We keep shopping there. Until now. My Daughter just spent another $600 online. On top of that in-store SA ordered a sale price skirt which was $150 and is now "on sale" for $99. It arrived and said $150 not $99. She checks receipt and SA rung it through as full price. She had other online items that did not fit. Goes back AGAIN! (Like a large that fit like XXL in sweat pants.) Problem! The sweats were on sale! Can't return! Skirt? No won't price adjust. We give up. She has had to write to corporate to get online items exchanged or returned. This time my Daughter goes in and gets verbally belittled for returns or exchanges from online purchases. SA was so rude. Intimidating. Demeaning. (Hey, I know what that feels like there) Doing anything to not return or exchange items with tags on. Had to ask for manager. Then SA at that point says: no problem! I will return items! My Daughter said thank you but I still want to see manager. SA goes: but I am now returning items! Daughter says yes but how you treated me & bullied me is why I want to speak to manager. She tells management. We leave. Never shopping there again. They have overpriced clothes, low quality clothes that they don't stand behind for return, repair or exchange. This was our "GO TO" store. Not anymore. Never buy a gift there. The recipient will be selling a brand new item on eBay because they get stuck with it if it wasn't quite right or 10 days past or no refund or exchange due to $5 or $10 off a $150 item! Look at EBay. There they are! Heaps of brand new Aritzia items for sale. I've sold a couple myself there with tags on! Not anymore. HEADS UP: !!!! The 10 day return policy starts when you order something IN STORE FOR DROP SHIP!!!!!! This means that if they are sold out and order it for shipping TO YOUR ADDRESS the clock starts right there that moment at the cash register. If it takes 10 days to arrive the return date is past due!!!! Deceptive business practices. read more

This was my first time ever at an Aritzia store. I'm the type of shopper who typically goes in knowing what I want to buy and would like to peacefully browse on my own. I was approached from behind by a worker telling me the pants I was holding were a great choice, and she was super sweet. I told her I wanted a bodysuit, so she directed me to a rack of them and then set up a fitting room for me. I continued to walk around and look at some dresses, and she popped up again behind me and talked more about different products and that I should look at this and this and blah blah. I said thank you and made small talk and continued to look more around. She popped up behind me for a third time! I finally decided to go to the fitting room, only for it to have 4 additional items I didn't even pick--the worker took them for me. While this may be helpful to others, I had a clear vision for what I came to look for and potentially buy. Walked into the fitting room only to see there's no mirror! Tf? There were only 3 mirrors outside of the fitting rooms where everyone was looking at themselves and people in the store could see you as well. So uncomfortable. As soon as you walk out from behind the curtain, a worker is standing right there asking you how it fits, how's this, how's that. I get that it is their job to sell items, but the workers there are absolutely too pushy, like, let me breathe!! I ended up not buying anything. The dress I tried was not flattering enough to spend $88 on, and I'm sure as hell not spending $78 on the fleece sweats. read more

I normally go to the Aritzia at the Century City Mall but I was in the Glendale area getting my eyebrows touched up so I stopped by. Danielle helped me in the fitting room along with another sweet girl. I always found the sale associates at Aritzia a lot more helpful then most other retail stores because they help style you and their attitudes are always so happy and helpful. Danielle picked out a bunch of tops for me to try on in which one I ended loving and buying. She was so sweet and helpful. I will be back at this location again! read more

I was at the Santa Monica location just yesterday when I saw this girl wearing the "vogue" blazer and I left the store so sad they didn't have my size or the color I wanted so the next day (today) I called this location in Glendale hoping they might have it in stock but they didn't I just got super lucky Karina and Cj the sales associates helped me find a location that does have it in stock And they ordered it from Houston to be shipped to me in Cali! Every day is a good day to go shopping when you have Aritzia nearby. I love shopping here because they have a really great selection of quality staples as well as the most relevant current trends. In terms of their offering, they strike a perfect balance of classic and on-trend fashion. Today I had the pleasure of being assisted by an amazing employee named Rosa. She was so much fun to shop with and knew the ins and outs of the store, which was really nice because it's a lot to navigate. She listened and actually understood what I was looking for and made so many great suggestions. Some of the options she presented were things that I might have not considered on my own but fell in love with (and bought) because she helped pull the pieces together. I left with a load of new clothes, some staples, some trendy things and some things I might've never reached for but ended up in love with. That was one helluva shopping experience and as much as I'd like to think I'm a good shopper (good or bad depending on who you ask hehehe) I definitely had fun being adventurous today thanks to Rosa. I love this store and have long been a customer since I learned about the brand on a business trip in Canada but I usually buy online. Let's be clear... LOVE aritzia clothes!! But the customer service at this location is horrible. There is always one girl on staff who is super helpful and nice, otherwise there is a whole lot of attitudes and selective service from the team depending on whether they think you are going to spend money. Multiple times I've had staff look me up and down when I am at the register, ignore me, or try to hurry me out of the fitting rooms. As another person who has been in customer service and retail for 7 years I say... grow up, drop the condescending airs and do your job without an attitude please because the customers are the reason why you are paid to work in store. read more

KELLY FROM AMERICANA!! I pretty much only shop at Aritzia, i've been shopping for years. I live closer to the Topanag location but make it an extra effort to go out of my way to shop at American with Kelly. Her customer service is off the charts! Too many times I've felt very uncomfortable shopping at Aritzia as some stylists have been very degrading and condescending towards me. No matter what i'm shopping for or how hard it is to find the perfect piece Kelly is ALWAYS so patient, kind, and most importantly uplifting! This is a predominantly female run company which should focus on empowering and uplifting other women and miss Kelly has that down to a T. Men by nature are not much of shoppers. So when my wife and daughter wanted to shop at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, I didn't expect much. Upon arrival they both immediately went to J Crew. I walked in but got bored quickly and went out to watch the water fountain instead. After buying a shirt they walked into Aritizia and called me for my opinion (in other words my approval on style and price lol) on my daughter's clothes selection. Sophie just turned 16 so I'm careful of what I let her buy (nothing too revealing and sexy). Gotta be age appropriate and PRICE appropriate lol. So I was ok with her selections. I found out one of the sales lady was very helpful in finding the right matching outfits for her and she had very good taste and flair. Can't remember her name (might be Connie?) In any case as Sophie tried them on for size I discovered they had a wonderful waiting area where I waited to see her outfit as she walked out of the fitting room. I liked it all, the style. The price was quite above my usual price point but it was her birthday after all. I find that Aritizia at Americana in Brand is a rather pleasant place for a guy to wait while your better halves and daughters do their shopping. Just watch your credit card read more
