They have a small dining space with 4 tables. It's relatively clean and modern. The menu is posted on the wall and they have self ordering kiosk. We ordered a bunch of items from the menu, starting with popcorn chicken and spring rolls. Both were really good. For entree I had the Bulgogi Gogi (GG1). I was a delicious bowl filled with flavorful bulgogi ribeye beef mixed with lettuce. The beef phuh (pho) was excellent too. The server at the store was friendly. She explained a lot of the menu items to us and patiently punched in all of our items. The dishes came out in short time too. Overall I really liked the food but wish the dining space was better conditioned (wobbly table, old tile on floor, speaker right next to table blasting music)

Good Korean restaurant in Hackensack! Reminds me of Korea everytime I go here!…read more Location: It is located inside Hackensack Commons. Very simple restaurant, inside are lot of seating, very casual. Service: not much interaction, we just ordered and food came really fast. Food: Everything was good to be honest, nothing is a miss here. SEAFOOD PANCAKE: this is soo good! Lot of bits of seafood inside! Very delicate, dip it in the sauce and its so perfect. BEEF SHORT RIBS BENTO: the short rib is well seasoned and grilled perfectly. The rice is well cooked and the japchae was delicious. I wish there is more dressing on the salad tho. Tempura and fried dumpling was fried into perfection. CHICKEN KATSU: the katsu was fried well, best to dip it on the curry sauce. Not much breading so its good. SAMPLER PLATTER: shrimp tempura, fried dumpling and fried seaweed rolls. They are all good! Not fried too much. Crispy in the outside and soft inside. TOFU STEW: it came really really hot. Feels like a comfort food. If you are sick or just want something in your belly that is warm definitely get this. SIDE DISHES: there was a lot! Omg i got full eating the side dishes Price rating: 6/10. It was not expensive for the great food. Definitely will come back to try other foods they have. But definitely get the beef short rib bento!

I usually frequent their Palisades Park location, and I'm happy to report that their tofu soups never miss here either. They serve a wide variety of Korean stews, bibimbap, and Korean BBQ options. My personal go-to is always the beef or mushroom tofu stew, it's super comforting, flavorful, and the absolute perfect meal for a chilly day. The dining room itself is clean and spacious, making for a comfortable meal. Plus, the service is top-notch; the staff is exceptionally attentive, the food comes out fast, and they are quick to refill your banchan whenever you ask.

The service was consistent, only once did we have to ask for refills for water. Food: we ordered the half and half raw marinated crab, bibimbap, abalone congee and fried oysters. Raw crabs: marinated and seasoned perfectly. We aren't a spicy loving family, but this was perfect amount for us that we could handle the spice. Our lips and mouths burned, but the good tingle, not the fire breathing 911 burn. lol Fried oysters: well battered and fried, nicely aromatic Abalone congee: perfectly textured and the abalone meat and taste was present. This helped offset the spiciness of the crabs. Bibimbap: not your average clay pot type, this was on a plate and with lots of green vegetables. Also delicious! The Bon chon was different and excellent. Variety of different vegetables, pickled and fermented. We enjoyed them all. FYI: there is a small parking lot as well

Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

Doesn't look like much from the outside/ Still I'm very glad that we decided to give it a shot. We were patient because there doesn't seem to be much staff and it was a Saturday so no rush for us. There was one older woman taking and serving both to go and dine in orders. We ordered the chicken Katsu bento box, the salmon bento box, and also Korean fried chicken wings. Everything was delicious. Even the miso soup was tasty and there was just so much food. We sat and had a very nice, delicious lunch. Even grabbed a bottle of wine because they're BYOB and there is a liquor store a few shops down. We spoke to the woman who I think is an owner and she said she has customers come in from NYC and I totally believe her because it's that good and very reasonable. We will absolutely return. I highly recommend this place!

You order at the front and pick up your food when it's ready. It's actually a really convenient system, and since there is no table service, there's no expectation to leave a gratuity. The food itself is consistently good. The parking lot is very, very small and shared with the cafe next door, so parking can be a squeeze. Because it's so popular, it gets very busy during prime dining hours. Even when I've ordered takeout, there can sometimes be a decent wait to get your food so I recommend order online or over the phone ahead. They do charge a little extra if you pay with a credit card to cover the fees. If you visit during the summer months, you absolutely have to try the Naeng Myeon (cold noodle soup) or the Bibim Naeng Myeon (spicy cold noodles). The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was creamy and delicious. It all paired perfectly with the white rice it was served over. My girlfriend got the ribs with eggs and kimchi fried rice. That was really good too. The kimchi rice wasn't overwhelmingly kimchi-flavored and the ribs were super tender. We also split some cold buckwheat noodles.
