Damn, if you think korean fried chicken all tastes the same, you need to order yourself some bb.q Chicken. This is a korean fried chicken chain that does set itself apart from the rest of the other locations in the area. The different sauces/seasonings (cheese ROCKS) for their chicken are the best around, the sides like the spicy rice cakes are awesome, and providing pickled radishes on the side, a nice way to "clear the palette" between flavors is a must try. This is my go to korean fried chicken spot...

I was super excited to see a Korean fried chicken spot near me. I accidentally ordered boneless instead of wings, I got soy garlic and Gangnam. The chicken was juicy, and super crispy, nothing overly sauced, The only complaint was some of the pieces had more breading than chicken in them. Not bad for a small chain, gotta try the wings next !

That said, this restaurant is one of few decent Korean spots outside of Fort Lee and Palisades Park. As such, it's become a return spot for our family members who live fairly local. As soon as you sit down, the default beverage offered is warm barley tea (which is much appreciated during those colder winter visits). The banchan, or side dishes, are few but a little more robust here than other Korean restaurants. During my last visit, we were given plates of standard kimchi, sprouts, and seasoned broccoli. I was also surprised to find pumpkin-egg salad, soy marinated lotus root, and soy-marinated ribeye pieces. The offerings change a little from visit to visit, but they're always decent to downright delicious. While I've not been wowed by anything from the menu, I've found most of the meals to be predictable. Hot stone bibimbap is my regular order, and I love the different proteins they offer here for mixed rice dishes. For those curious about the barbecue but unwilling to pay the high sticker price for a full entree, you can try the galbi, bulgogi, and spicy pork atop a bibimbap. During my last visit, I was delighted by the salmon hot stone bibimbap, which came with a great teriyaki marinade. My regular complaint with Seoul Galbi's bibimbap is that the hot stone has never gotten hot enough for my rice to char and crisp (which is arguably the best part of ordering it on a hot stone. Otherwise, why else would one pay the elevated prices?). When it comes to decor and ambiance, the restaurant is fairly no frills. As far as service goes, the waitresses have always been quick - quick to order, quick to serve, and quick to refill glasses (or, when asked, the side dishes). I also appreciate how slow they are to deliver the check, allowing conversations to linger. When my family and I came with a cake for a family member, the auntie serving our table not only came by with extra plates and silverware, she clapped and sang the 'Happy Birthday' song as boisterously as we.

Some of the absolute BESSSSSST and freshest fried chicken I've ever had! You can't go wrong with any of the chicken flavors, but the Soy Garlic is a MUST here. Yes, you're paying a premium (10 pcs for $28), but this was the freshest, hottest fried chicken I might have ever had. It was delicious! The pulled chicken was flavorful, and the pickled onions and cucumbers added a perfect crunch and zest that complemented the brown rice and kale beautifully. Their tag line of "Eat Juicy Chicken" compelled us in. Unfortunately, our first time was a bit of a flop. First, the positives. Placing your order is a cinch, either with one of many kiosks or with the folks at the counter. We opted for the latter since it was our first visit and we were paying with cash. Service at the counter was warm and friendly. While waiting for our meal, we also took notice of the wide array of pumps by the drink dispenser. They're all free sauces you can get to dress up your meal. But that was precisely where things kind of went meh. My husband's boneless breast meal was heavily sauced and rendered the whole thing a little too salty. My chicken Caesar salad was just fine, but I craved more texture (some croutons would've killed). I keep comparing our ho-hum experience to others who've raved about their meals here, and I think our mistake was two-fold: 1) We didn't order a chicken sandwich. I should've known better - when most of the signature items on a menu gravitate toward one type of item, it's a restaurant's way of hinting at their strengths. Opting to order a salad and a grilled chicken at a fried chicken place was a bad start. Learn from my mistakes. 2) We paired a saucy chicken with saucy sides. All three items in my husband's order - the meat, the Brussel sprouts, and the potatoes - were generously drizzled with a sauce. It's no wonder our taste buds breathed a sigh of relief whenever we had a bite of undressed crinkle cut fries; we were assaulting our mouths with salt and flavor. If you're a saucy person, have at it ; otherwise, I'd recommend creating a more balanced plate and ordering a few things without sauce so you can appreciate the cooking. Because in my heart of hearts, I believe items are well-prepared here; they're just doused in too much covering to be appreciated.

Chinese cuisine has been a staple of American culture for decades. From the days of chop suey to…read morethe rise of contemporary Chinese-American dishes, the Chinese food we know and love today has evolved in fascinating ways. One of the most popular dining experiences is the Chinese buffet. Referred to as the "Chinese smörgåsbord," believe it or not, it first emerged in the 1950s before exploding in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This American tradition offers diners a variety of delicious dishes adapted to suit American tastes and may differ significantly from authentic Chinese cuisine in an all-you-can-eat setting. Located on Market Street, Dynasty Buffet is the closest to our home, and my partner and I paid them a return visit after 3 years tonight. Upon entering inside their high ceilings, with big windows and nice lighting, we were greeted by the host. The cost begins at $33.99 per person for a weekend dinner. We were led to a booth by the window. The establishment continues to have a large selection of a mixed variety of Asian and other ethnic food, plus a salad, a carving station, and a dessert bar. The staff puts out smaller portions and refills frequently so everything tastes fresh. Although American Chinese buffets offer a wide variety of dishes, many of the more authentic and region-specific dishes from China are not typically found on their menus. The food was tasty, the staff would check on us frequently, and the service was amicable. Ultimately, the buffet serves as a delicious reminder of the ways in which cultures can blend and evolve over time while still preserving their unique flavors and techniques.

This buffet is simply not worth the price…read more I paid $46 for the weekend buffet (over $39 after tax and tip), but the food selection and quality were far below my expectations. There were only 2 hot food stations, plus a salad bar, a fruit station, a sushi section, and a small grill. Compared with other Chinese buffets in North Jersey charging around $24 on weekends, this place offers much fewer choices. The food quality was also disappointing: No snow crab legs The steak was tough and very low quality. Even basic items like salt & pepper shrimp were refilled very slowly, leaving empty trays for long periods. At this price point, I expected a much better experience. For just a little more money, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ or hot pot with much higher-quality food, table service, and a far better overall experience. Save your money. There are far better buffet options in the area.
