This was my first time having Korean food. The menu was written in Korean and English but I still needed help deciphering what I could eat because of my allergies. Our server spoke little English but used a translation app to assist. She was nice and friendly. The tables were spread out along the walls of the restaurant allowing for a spacious atmosphere. I really enjoyed learning about and eating new flavors. It is interesting how our palates adapt. I enjoyed my meal and look forward to going back. FYI - if you like spicy there is plenty to choose from. Enjoy!

We came her for the first time with friends. This place was confusing at first because Yelp page did say they have a bar but website was not clear. When I called I asked if they have a bar and served and was told no. So I brought wine and beer and when we arrived then do have beer, wine, sake as well as liquor, to clear that up. The food was fantastic and they sides were amazing. Our server was great. We will return. Very satisfying meal and experience.

This spot was good, but not quite up to par. It's a Korean bbq spot with tofu soups. I went with the special combo: galbi, bulogi, and chicken. Do not get the chicken. It was rubbery in texture and not flavorful at all. As for the meats they were okay, but on the fattier side. I expected a better cut of meat, but what can you do. Most important part is the grill. Not a fan of this type of grill since the flames never hit the meat. I like the flame cooking the meat to give it a tastier experience. Plus, it was a gas flame so it wouldn't have been great flavor. The side dishes did complement the meat quite well. And, the waitress was attentive. This location has plenty of parking and outdoor seating. FYI: They take temperatures at the door.

The Food was very good with an array of free vegetable sides. The server quickly cooked the food at the table for our group and was extremely helpful.

Seoul Galbi is a solid place for Korean BBQ with reasonable price and great portion. The decor is crude but simple and clean. The staff was friendly, attentive and served everything quickly. We had their 2+1 Special with selections of Beef Tongue, Prime Ribeye and Pork Belly. The quality of meat looks decent and they were all delicious. They would help customers grill their meat as other Korean BBQ restaurants do but the grilling time between each protein was too tight for us.

When I go there, I usually get their BBQ. The service is very good. They grille all the BBQ in front of you. The side dishes that they give are delicious. They have other traditional Korean food on the menu, too. They have sodas, wine, beer, hot tea, or water. It's a cute place and plenty of parking

Came here with the girls and overall had a ok experience. This was our first time here so was kind of hard to understand what the side dishes were and the server couldn't really understand/explain but she was nice and tried her best. Typically I've seen at KBBq places you cook your own food however, here the server wouldn't let us. When we tried she ran over and said no she does it and even ended up taking the tongs with her. I was also a little taken back as I don't eat pork or red meat so I ordered shrimp however she kept mixing my shrimp over with the meat and even using the same tongs. I had to ask her can she keep it separate from the meat but she didn't fully understand.

Street parking is available if you can find one. We had lunch on a quiet Saturday. I have to say that the food is delicious. I ordered the marinated chicken lunch box and beef dumplings. The different flavors and spices were delightful. The chicken was a little spicy for those who don't want spicy. The portions were satisfying. The only negative comment I have was that service was slow considering we were the only ones in the restaurant. Having said that we look forward to going back.

As good as Korean food gets ... ANYWHERE…read more We strolled into this unassuming, small and relatively quiet Korean restaurant on a nice summer Saturday evening. The restaurant is located diagonal of the Whole Foods in Ridgewood and with all of the attention paid to the super market, it's quite easy to miss the small strip that Hama is part of. When we first walked in around 5:30pm, there was 1 couple dining inside and, by the time we left, there were only 2 tables occupied other than ours, so foot traffic was unsurprisingly (and surprisingly based on the food) super duper light. The menu had all of the Korean classics - Japchae/noodles, bibimbaps and tofu stews. To start we ordered the Beef Baos (2pcs) and Seafood Pancake (4 pcs). First, we thought we might have ordered 1 appetizer too many with the baos, but this might have been the BEST thing we ordered! Beef was tender, delicious and plentiful within the baos. The Seafood Pancake was good too and a solid pick if you're seeking a simple appetizer. For entrees, we got the Seafood Tofu with Clam, Mussel, Shrimp and Stir-Fried Vermicelli Noodles with Beef. The Seafood Tofu came out piping, boiling, bubbling hot and was served with a side of white rice. It was excellent. Some of the best stew tofu I've ever, ever, ever had. The Japchae/vermicelli noodles with beef was delicious too - specifically, the beef was very flavorful and tender like the beef for the baos. It seems Hama is seriously underappreciated in the neighborhood and that's a shame for them, but a big win for diners like us who love finding those gems. The flavors are excellent here and this place should be swarming with people. We will absolutely be returning soon.

Very simple restaurant, inside are lot of seating, very casual. Service: not much interaction, we just ordered and food came really fast. Food: Everything was good to be honest, nothing is a miss here. SEAFOOD PANCAKE: this is soo good! Lot of bits of seafood inside! Very delicate, dip it in the sauce and its so perfect. BEEF SHORT RIBS BENTO: the short rib is well seasoned and grilled perfectly. The rice is well cooked and the japchae was delicious. I wish there is more dressing on the salad tho. Tempura and fried dumpling was fried into perfection. CHICKEN KATSU: the katsu was fried well, best to dip it on the curry sauce. Not much breading so its good. SAMPLER PLATTER: shrimp tempura, fried dumpling and fried seaweed rolls. They are all good! Not fried too much. Crispy in the outside and soft inside. TOFU STEW: it came really really hot. Feels like a comfort food. If you are sick or just want something in your belly that is warm definitely get this. SIDE DISHES: there was a lot! However, this restaurant ( MIGAM) completely exceeded my expectations! Everything is made with high-quality ingredients, and they prepared my takeout order exactly as I requested. SPICY BRISKET JJAMPPONG It's a spicy dish, but since spice levels vary from place to place--and being Mexican, I'm used to spicy food--I didn't want to take any chances, so I ordered it medium spicy. They hit the nail on the head! It was absolute perfection. The broth was rich, thick, and packed with flavor--delightful in every single way. The portion size is so generous that it will easily cover two meals, and I'm sharing some with my husband. It came with four sides (banchan), including kimchi, and I can honestly say it's the best kimchi I've ever had in my life--and I've tried Korean food both in Mexico and here in the U.S. I first visited this restaurant in Tenafly over a year ago when I believe they were just starting out. Back then, I met a woman who I believe is the owner. I am so glad to see they still maintain that same phenomenal quality! They cook with such attention to detail that I no longer have to worry about looking for another place to get this kind of food. Thank you so much, blessings, and congratulations on the wonderful work and dedication you put into preparing the most delicious Korean dishes I've ever tasted. See you very soon!

Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock
