Everything tasted so clean and good. I hate when stews leave a sticky after taste in my mouth but this place used great ingredients so had none of that happen:) Also super friendly and sweet staff

Seafood Jjamppong

Homey and delicious! I stopped by for a weekday lunch. The menu has a lot of lunch options but I was craving a jjambbong. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The Jjambbong was perfect for a cold day. It had SO many ingredients where as many other places is just full of noodles. There was plenty of veggies and lots of shrimp, mussels and octopus, which were all cooked to the perfect level. Definitely will come back to try other things because the seafood pancake at the next table looked sooo good.

Pork kimchi Stew

The food was so good and reasonably priced! Classic Korean restaurant vibes. Small business so definitely support!

I say this without hesitation, and…read moreby judging the restaurant on what it's trying to be: the highest expression of a neighborhood Korean-Chinese place. We most recently came in on a Friday night with a 6 pm reservation. Yes, we had to flag down one of the harried but cheerful women working here to place our order. But look around - there's not a white tablecloth in sight. You may have to catch someone's eye, and there's nothing wrong with that. By 6:15 pm, half of our order was on the table, and we were gleefully chomping on fried dumplings and pillowy buns. The small but clean and modern space was packed - packed with people, but also with so much happiness. Almost everyone was smiling, laughing, and joking as they tucked into this feel-good array of comfort classics. Jajangmyun, jjampong, khan poong, gochu japchae... all of these traditional dishes sang. Even a simple plate of sauteed vegetables was delicious. And everything spent just seconds between being finished in the kitchen and sitting in front of us. Is it cheap? No, nor should it be. The ingredients are of the freshest, including the seafood. The cooking couldn't be better. And this is no grimy hole in the wall. If it were a French bistro, you'd have no problem with the prices. So pay these fine folks what they deserve, and enjoy.

I tried the chicken sandwich, chicken Katsu Bowl, Korean corn dogs, matcha boba, and Misugaru latte. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was great. The chicken was seasoned well and fried to perfection. It was still nice and moist inside and the spice level was pretty good. I could've done with a bit more heat, but I prefer things to lack a little heat than to have too much. The doughnut buns were nice and soft and added a doughy sweetness to the chicken's crispy and savory. The slaw on top added some freshness. I really enjoyed the sandwich. The chicken Katsu Bowl was very good too. The chicken was different from the chicken in the sandwich, but it was just as flavorful and moist. The Korean corn dogs are good. On par with all the other Korean corn dogs I've ever had. We got half hot dog and half mozzarella. Honestly I enjoyed the mozzarella more and will probably get full mozzarella next time. The drinks were pretty good too. I tried the matcha boba and Misugaru latte. The matcha was alright and I liked that they were pretty generous with the amount of boba they give. The Misugaru felt like a pretty unique offering; I haven't seen it much. Prices are fair and the service is quick and friendly. I'll be back.

This isn't just another all-you-can-eat spot--it's a full, well-executed Korean BBQ and hot pot experience done right. First, the food quality is outstanding. The meats come out fresh, well-cut, and vibrant, especially the thin-sliced beef which cooks perfectly in seconds. Nothing looks frozen, dull, or rushed. The hot pot broth is rich and flavorful, not watered down, and pairs perfectly with noodles, seafood, and vegetables. Everything--from bok choy and bean sprouts to seafood like octopus--tastes clean and intentional. What really sets this place apart is the interactive experience. Cooking at the table is smooth and efficient, the equipment works properly (which matters more than people think), and nothing feels chaotic or disorganized. You're not waiting forever for refills or chasing staff down--service is attentive, fast, and professional. The atmosphere is fun but polished. Modern decor, great lighting, and even small touches like the claw machine near the entrance make it feel lively without being overwhelming. It's perfect for dates, groups, or even just treating yourself to a serious meal. Value-wise? Completely worth it. You get premium ingredients, variety, and an experience that justifies the price. This is the kind of place you leave full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit. Bottom line: KPOT Englewood sets the standard for Korean BBQ and hot pot in North Jersey. If you're debating where to go--stop debating and come here. Highly recommended.

From the outside and inside, it really doesn't look like much. They're currently operating as take-out only - no dining in. The interior is a bit messy and disorganized, but you'll look past that once you try their sushi. Their menu offers your Japanese classics - regular sushi rolls, special sushi rolls, sashimi, bento boxes, udon, salads, soups, tempura, etc. I highly recommend their lunch and dinner specials - it's the best bang for your buck! Everything is reasonably priced and you'll get your money's worth. The full menu is available on their website. You have to call to place your order and then pick it up. You pay once you're there. I don't think they use third-party services anymore like Uber or DoorDash. I've been ordering their lunch special (3 rolls for ~$16 with complimentary soup or salad) and I'm always satisfied. My food takes around 15-20 minutes to be ready, which is very reasonable. I haven't had any issues with the service here. They are efficient, pleasant, and always get my order right. My favorite rolls are the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and eel & avocado. The fish to rice ratio is perfect. They pack your rolls with a huge portion of fish. The rice is well seasoned with vinegar, sugar, and salt. The tuna and salmon are incredibly fresh and they're actually spicy!!! They even include a few complimentary pieces of deep fried California rolls. This is one of my go-to spots for a satisfying and filling sushi meal. And you cannot beat the price and value!
