Miso Teriyaki menu (Teriyaki, Teribun, Noodle, Udon, Fried Rice)

Best yakisoba noodles, udon, and tempura in Bergen County! This spot delivers the perfect blend of home-cooked comfort and restaurant-quality execution. Every dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can really taste the balance and care in each bite. The flavors are clean, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. The prices are so reasonable, too! We got the: * Chicken Yakisoba Noodles ($13.95) A lighter, healthier, and more flavorful take on Chinese lo mein. The noodles have a wonderfully chewy texture without being greasy, the vegetables are crisp and fresh (and you can request extra if you'd like), and the grilled chicken was cooked perfectly. * Shrimp Tempura Udon ($15.95) Generous in portion and ingredients, this dish exceeded expectations. The broth was rich, the udon noodles had great texture, and the shrimp tempura stayed crisp in the soup for a while. You can tell they didn't skimp on quality. * Mixed Tempura ($14.95) A a great assortment of tempuras including shrimps, potatoes, sweet eat potatoes, onions, peppers... They were crispy, warm, and satisfying; perfect for sharing or snacking on the side. * Beef Teribun ($6.95) This was given to us on the house, and what a wonderful treat it was!!! YUM, you can't go wrong with the warm and pillowy bao buns and their flavorful and tender beef. My husband got the chicken teriyaki (to-go) and enjoyed it, but I haven't gotten a chance to taste it myself. However, I'm sure it was just as good. Also a side note, their Rib Teriyaki is L.A. Galbi (Korean BBQ ribs) and I heard that their fried rice is really good, too. Definitely will be coming back soon! Gosh, I'm craving it already...

Busy time during lunch! Lots students come here for lunch break. The staff are very nice and helpful. Self service to order and put the tray away. But if they are not busy, they will come and take the tray for you. Good menu size for the restaurant and population. It offers fried rice, ramen, rice platters etc. Bottle drinks in the fridge as well. Many tables for dine in, lots people do take out as well. You can sit comfortably. Clean environment.

Got some lunch from here after a while. Such delicious dishes. Chicken teriyaki and chicken yakisoba my favorites. Loved the beef buns too. Order was ready in about 10 minutes for pick up.

The food is amazing and it's quite the hidden gem in Tenafly. The staff is welcoming, quick, and on point. We always make it a point to go

Continues to be a good go-to place for a quick lunch. Food is always made to order and great service overall. It's in a plaza so there is parking in the front. Great spot for teriyaki!

I wanted to try this spot for lunch and called in my order. I ordered the shrimp teriyaki and vegetable dumplings. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted by the nice lady. I paid and waited a few more minutes for my food. I left when it was ready. When I got in I dug in and bit into my dumpling and found pork in the dumpling . Let's just say I couldn't eat it. The shrimp teriyaki was pretty decent though. All in all I had decent experience but so upset about the pork.

Got takeout here and was happy with the food. I got a Short rib Teriyaki, a Chicken Teriyaki, and a mixed Tempura. The two Teriyaki bowls were particularly tasty. The meat was tender, juicy, and had great flavor. The Teriyaki sauce goes perfectly with the steamed white rice. Portion size was also bigger than I thought they would be. The mixed tempura was ok, but nothing special. I would absolutely come back again next time I'm in the mood for some Teriyaki.

Woah. you got to have faith to open during covid-19 pandemic but that is what Miso Teriyaki has done, abet takeout only for now due to Government Regulations. I got the shrimp fried rice, but also comes in beef, chicken and veggie is is the white style not brown. And of course you got to get the Shrimp Tempura but they offer the veggie version too. You can find teriyaki, teri-buns, yakisoba noddles, ramen, udon, Gyoza on the menu with mochi ice cream and boba tea too.

Fantastic, amazing, freaking FABULOUS! I'm obsessed with this place, and I had to stop eating to write a review. Miso Teriyaki has been on my radar for about a month now, and I've finally made the drive over. Knowing where it is = super dangerous for my eating habits because it's so GOOD. I ordered miso soup and spicy chicken teriyaki with brown rice. In pics, the portion size looks small. Wrong! It's a generous portion of meat and rice, artfully presented. It sort of reminded me of ying and yang. The teriyaki sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet, savory and spicy. I guess you can call it umami without the MSG. Extra sauce was included in the container. The miso soup was warm and filling, and it had carrots, mini tofu and scallions. My meal also included a delightfully packaged house salad with a dressing on the side. Prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of food one is getting, and ordering via phone was seamless. The owner was so sweet and friendly, and she had the same vibe when I walked in. She was so warm and welcoming. She literally reminded me of *that* mom who is nice to everyone and has snacks available. Parking is ample, and the decor inside is neat and modern. This is no Sarku Japan over here. I highly recommend trying it out because I'm definitely coming back!

Teriyaki noodles were OK, tempura was very bad, middle was still cold when it was served.

The only issue was that it's a little awkward being the only table in the restaurant and sitting at the sushi bar... Cause we had like eight people attending us and looking at us and listening to our every word. But you can look at it in another way and assume it felt like more of a private dining experience, which is cool. Because it was our first time there, we didn't wanna opt for the Omakase because my husband and I have had mediocre Omakase experiences and they don't come cheap. And something we didn't realize that this place does, that many other Omakase places don't do, is make their sauces in house to pair with the fish. A lot of omakase spots locally don't care to make a budget for sauces when they can get it ready made. A huge unique selling point of this place was at each sauce was separately made and stored in different containers to pair with the fish it was intended for... And when the chef had mentioned that a lot of Omakase places don't do this, It made a lot of sense. We ordered the Hamachi Jalapeño, tuna Crispy rice, tuna 5 ways, single nigiri pieces of sea bream and mackerel on my side and my husband ordered more basic pieces which I can't recall. We also Ordered the Hokkaido scallop cucumber roll. As soon as we tried the apps, we regretted not doing the omakase just because we knew it was gonna be that good. For Context, I haven't found any place in New Jersey that felt like a go to sushi spot that had high-quality fish, incredible pairings and seemingly consistent. The Hamachi jalapeño were bigger cuts of tuna with like this jalapeño paste sauce. It was amazing and proper spicy. No addtl sauce needed. The crispy rice tuna was insane. The hot rice paired with the cold tuna and their fixings were amazing. It didn't look like much, but it packed a huge punch of flavor. I think it might be the wasabi they use But both the wasabi and soy sauce were insanely good The tuna way of our little attempt at omakase ish. They gave you four pieces of Nigiri ( 2 being fatty tuna pieces) And a chopped tuna hand roll. I'm a texture person so I wasn't a fan of the hand, but each piece of tuna was better than the next. The fatty ones were insanely melty and lovely And I just really goes to show that I don't think I've had good high quality, fresh sushi or fish from many places Because no place matched up to this. I had ordered a piece of sea bream which was insanely good. I've never tried anything like that before and if I could, I would order 20 of those alone. The mackerel was really good and not fishy at all as well. The Hokkaido scallop Cucumber roll was very simple, but packed a huge bunch of flavor when you dipped it in the spicy sauce that it was paired with alongside a soy sauce wasabi combo. You could taste the quality and freshness. I was drinking a glass of sparkling wine... The wine was fine before I had the sushi... But drinking a sip while eating my sushi totally changed my palette as the sparkling wine paired so well that it became sweet. Last, but not least the miso cheesecake - Absolutely incredible and made in house. We ordered two more to go And they thought we were joking. That's how good it was. I don't miss New York City when I have sushi from places like this.

I was amazed when I found this little hole-in-the-wall gem in one of my old haunts, Closter. I decided to give it a try. I got two bowls of the beef combo Pho, a single order of the regular beef Pho, the Spicy Ma Mi banh mi sandwich, and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. These items are the easiest to judge, as most of the Vietnamese restaurants around Bergen County and the surrounding area kind of fail, choosing to cater to the population (skimping on spice, choosing western ingredients over authentic Asian ingredients, etc.). When I picked up my call-in order, the woman at the counter was very nice, though not Vietnamese and neither was the cook (not a problem at all, just an observation). She handed my order and I paid with a nice tip. I made it almost half way home when I got a call from the restaurant, and the same person told me she forgot to hand me the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and apologized. I made a u-turn and drove back to Ma Mi Eatery and picked up my drink. None of this exchange knocks any points against them, in fact, I was happy they called me. When I got home and unpacked everything, it all looked pretty authentic. I started with the combo beef Pho, adding all the toppings, plus the condiments of Hoisin sauce and Sriracha. What was missing was the fresh Thai basil! Then I read the menu and saw that they put the basil IN the soup when they serve it, so when I got home, all the basil was wilted. That's a shame because every single AAA Pho restaurant in Westminster, California serves their Pho with fresh Thai basil so customers can control how much basil they want, and to prevent wilting. That is my only real critique. Otherwise, the Pho was delicious, the broth was flavorful, and the really LOADED the soup with beef. Seriously, a lot of places in Westminster aren't that generous with brisket, but Ma Mi made my day. The Spicy Ma Mi banh mi sandwich was delicious, and loaded with all the appropriate toppings and condiments, though I wish they packed the wet ingredients (pickled carrot and daikon, cilantro, jalapeño) so the bread wouldn't get soggy, which it did, slightly. The bread itself was not the best bread I've had, typically, the bread used in most Vietnamese sandwich shops have a flaky crust and airy soft bread inside. This one a bit coarse on the crust with a heavy crunch. The interior was okay though. All in all, it was a great effort. The next time I revisit my hometown, I'll be sure to stop by Ma Mi Eatery for sure.
