App: boneless spare rib, chicken wings, entree: young chow fried rice, pineapple chicken, string beans in garlic sauce, beef lo mein large - A variety of Chinese food dishes are displayed on a wooden table, including fried chicken, fried rice, beef, green beans, and stir-fried noodles.

Umm.. the food at this place is so good! And trust me I've had a lot of Chinese food from different places! I'm so glad I found this place! The garlic sauce is ON POINT and the lo mein noodles are thicker and chewier than other places. Second time this week ordering from this place!! And I never do that

Menu - The menu features Chinese dishes including seafood, chicken, beef, and vegetarian options, with a lunch special section and special dishes like Sesame Chicken and Egg Drop Soup.

By default for the scallion pancakes. Rib tips were no good! Straight got robbed I blame the other reviewers for I took their word.

Mixed Vegetable and pork fried rice with king pao sauce - A takeout container holds vegetable fried rice with broccoli, snap peas, zucchini, carrots, and other vegetables, topped with sauce.

Love this place! Doesn't make my stomach hurt because it's not saturated in grease like some other places

Yea apparently those wrinkly cubes are chicken...

Gave this spot another chance years later hoping it'd be different. Again, if you're gonna do takeout or delivery, it would be wise to give utensils and napkins. Also I got the Kung Pao chicken and the chicken is non existent. The ones that were in there were cubes of frozen chicken. They actually look more like fried tofu. I'm at a loss for words.

This was a horrible experience.. I ordered my dinner to be delivered with the rudest person. They delivered it 1 hour later, wrong item delivered. I tried calling to tell them of the error thy either would not pick up, put me on hold and then hang up on me. I got in my car drive there and the lady there was even ruder in person, no apology and all I got was the food for the lack of better words thrown at me.

    Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We most recently came in on a Friday night with a 6 pm reservation. Yes, we had to flag down one of the harried but cheerful women working here to place our order. But look around - there's not a white tablecloth in sight. You may have to catch someone's eye, and there's nothing wrong with that. By 6:15 pm, half of our order was on the table, and we were gleefully chomping on fried dumplings and pillowy buns. The small but clean and modern space was packed - packed with people, but also with so much happiness. Almost everyone was smiling, laughing, and joking as they tucked into this feel-good array of comfort classics. Jajangmyun, jjampong, khan poong, gochu japchae... all of these traditional dishes sang. Even a simple plate of sauteed vegetables was delicious. And everything spent just seconds between being finished in the kitchen and sitting in front of us. Is it cheap? No, nor should it be. The ingredients are of the freshest, including the seafood. The cooking couldn't be better. And this is no grimy hole in the wall. If it were a French bistro, you'd have no problem with the prices. So pay these fine folks what they deserve, and enjoy.

NY Strip Steak Cheeseburger & Fries Here is the novelty regarding all of these appetizing entrees; they were all prepared from a Chinese take out restaurant! While most of the double sided menu offers Asian cuisine, there is one section specifically geared for American dishes! And the best part is it all tastes fantastic! The starters are on par. They taste identical to what you'd get served at a pub. The cheeseburger was a juicy, giant patty served on a brioche bun. The burger exceeds a Quarter Pounder in terms of taste and size! The steak was also decent, but make sure you have your favorite bottle of steak sauce handy! It's not Longhorn quality, but you'll still get your money's worth and will be satisfied. The calamari was more chewy than crispy, but it wasn't the worst I've had. In fact, it tastes better when I re-heated it in the oven for my preferred level of crispiness. There isn't any indoor seating, so take their outdoor sign literally. If you are looking for delicious non-Asian dishes at reasonable prices at a Chinese spot, this is the place to go.

Looking at the menu, I saw that they also offered a full Japanese selection with loads of sushi options. Everything sounded great, and I got excited for our meal. When we arrived, I was very impressed by the atmosphere, which was stylish, modern, and spacious. Our waitress was fine, but seemed to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder. Regardless, the food was excellent! The place was BYOB, but did have a Shirley Temple on the beverage section of the menu, which I thought was a cute alternative. As I mentioned, the food options were vast, which made it tough to decide how to proceed. In the end, I decided to get a single piece of sushi and a full Chinese entree. The piece of Eel Sushi I ordered was delivered as sashimi. When I noted the difference to the server, she looked at me like I was nuts, but asked if I wanted a bed of rice to put the fish on...I just said to forget it, since I already had a side of rice with my entree. It was just a weird exchange, but the eel was fresh and delicious. For my main course, I went with the Chicken and Eggplant with Spicy Garlic Basil Sauce and a side of brown rice. The meat was tender, the sauce had just the right amount of heat, and it was all just so flavorful! Plus, the portion was very generous. I tried a bite of the Spicy Asian Flower Herbs Chicken, which was noted as being "wok-sauteed in high flame for extreme spice". The diced chicken with red peppers and snap peas had been cooked with Szechuan peppercorns, but, thankfully, none of actual peppercorns were in the dish. So, there was certainly a level of spice, but actually not a ton of heat. It was really tasty, though! The rest of our party also enjoyed their meals, whether they were from Japanese or Chinese cuisine. I would definitely go back to Hanami, and it was great to find a delicious Asian restaurant in that area.

Out of all the choices on the takeout menu, I decided to explore the two most popular plates. General Tso's Chicken Dinner Combo: The hot, spicy chicken is chewy on the inside while slightly crunchy on the outside; expect a mild kick. I'm satisfied broccoli was included, but my only critique is that I would have preferred that the vegetable was mixed in with the tangy sauce. Also included with this combo is pork fried rice and wonton soup. The three wontons and the broth were piping hot. The noodles go hand in hand with the soup. It is a win win whether you choose to have them dry or soaked. Boneless Spare Ribs Dinner Combo: The ribs are tender and chewy with a savory taste. For this combo, I explored the white rice and egg roll. This appetizer was filled with cabbage and ground pork. I enjoyed it, but the size of the egg roll could have been slightly larger with a tad bit more pork. Both combos can also be purchased as a lunch special if you arrive between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. An adequate amount of seating is available if you decide to dine in. Empire Szechaun is open six days per week; arrive any day except Tuesday.
