I know business are suffering during covid and because this place is 100% take out I am not holding back. Good Chinese food is so hard to come by in this area. This place had 4 stars so we gave it a try. We ordered a bunch of things. Shrimp toast (as black as brownies and very salty) Chicken with curry (salty to the point of inedible) Lo mein (meh) Spare ribs (horrific with tons of clove) Even the rice was wrong. Had to update this review. When they first opened had 1 good experience. Went back and it was Terrible! The pork tasted old and re-cooked. Everything was awful! None of the food is fresh anymore. Even the Pork fried rice was no good. The pork tasted like it had been reheated more that a few times. I felt like everything was prepared days ago and reheated and tasted like it! Don't bother. Family run business serving delicious food. My favorite is the Kung Pao chicken, which is totally different from any king pao I've ever tried. It's white meat chicken, instead of breaded fried nuggets of dark meat like most places serve. It's full of veggies, too: peanut, peppers, baby corn and zucchini, stir fried in a sauce that's actually pretty spicy, and has the unusual touch of sechuan peppercorns. My kids love the chicken with broccoli as well. Can't stress enough how cool it is that the whole family works there cranking out food six days a week. They're just awesome. read more

Usually you get the diced chicken with peanuts, long chili peppers (waste of space) and maybe two pieces of broccoli. I decided to try New China Wok last night because my usual takeout place had gotten my order wrong for the last time. As far as takeout goes, nothing fancy BUT was super tasty. I ordered in person and while I waited, at least 5 customers breezed in and out and I had some free hot tea. This place is BUSY. I ordered the fried shrimp app, vegetable dumplings and tofu with broccoli. The woman who took my order was super nice and gave me two free cans of soda. Prices were reasonable and service was fast. I'm not too adventurous when it comes to deviating from my usual order at a Chinese establishment, and so this review, as usual, will be about their chicken with mixed vegetables, veggie spring roll, spare ribs, and Lo mein. I wasn't expecting much when I was searching for late night Chinese in the area, and wasn't expecting much from the unassuming establishment. I was, however, pleasantly surprised. The chicken, which I am very particular about, was cooked to perfection. Not oily, but had enough sauce to not feel skimped. The spring roll wasn't oily, and was quite crispy. Another dish, the chicken and shrimp delight, has a variety of ingredients. It's lower priced during lunchtime and is a better value than the local burger king's meals. New China Wok gives you a big portion. You have a choice of pork or veg. fried rice and soup or a drink. I usually go for the veg. fried rice and iced tea. They have packets of sauce on the left counter if you need extra soy sauce or mustard. Call to order first. Then you can go pick it up around 5 to 10 minutes later. I ordered take out from here tonight. Ordered 4 items for $33. I used the $7 off coupon. They were nice enough to take the coupon even when it expired in beginning of September. The food was good. Like any Chinese food, it was greasy, but not as much as some other restaurants. I am happy to have found a good take out place in town and am sure that I will be coming back here.
