Ordered the General Tso's plate with fried rice, plus a drink. Came out to ~12.50, which is pretty good value for the portion I got. I actually had to save some for leftovers. Chicken was tasty, and they give you a lot of different sauces too. My only criticism is that I wish the broccoli was cut up more. read more

Meh. The service here is good, I just wish I could say the same about the food. Everything I've had has been mediocre. The soups taste watered down and the sauces are prettier than they are tasty. I like the separate dining room. The floors are clean and the tables clear. read more

Food is good enough for a quick lunch but not great. The fried wontons were very greasy but I needed something quick. Pork fried rice and wontons soup were acceptable. Service was quick and as far as ambience, I didn't stick around long enough to care. read more

Food is excellent. Especially the wings and soup. service is great, they are very friendly but they don't do deliveries.

I placed a simple order for pickup. While service is fast and friendly the location leaves a bit to be desired in terms of cleanliness outlook, I know most Chinese food places look messy but I was a little concerned here, I guess because it's very easy to see through. In terms of the food it was decent but each item something seemed slightly off. And I ordered basic dishes, plain lo mein, sesame chicken, pork egg roll. Even pricing was higher than I've paid elsewhere. I think for a quick solution it's ok but I don't believe I'd return. read more

Hands down best Chinese food around. Food is fresh and delicious. Try the sinSingapore dish you won't be disappointed

The best Chinese Food in Englewood. I live a few towns over but when I am craving for Hot and Sour Soup I always go here. Cleaner than most fast food Chinese, and people are very nice. read more

I've stopped by for some dishes when I grocery shopping for years just because of the convenience. I hate to leave not great reviews, but today it really piss me off. The guy back in the kitchen is so disgusting, He grabs uncooked meat and vegetables with his bare hand and reaches for his spatula, rag, etc... which I can bear, but he uses the same hand to poke around with food that has been cooked and wait for packing. It all happened while I was standing in front waiting for my order. I can't imagine what it was like behind there. Do you dare to order anything from it anymore? read more

The food is always Fresh. Always Hot. And Always reasonable. They cook in vegetable oil, which I love. The only thing that I wish they offered -- Delivery. It would save me from making the drive, but it won't break me to make the drive to pick up food from one of the "healthiest" chinese food spots in Bergen County. read more

I went in yesterday for the 1st time. I ordered wonton soup and wings. Took my order home and proceeded to eat the soup. Biting into the wontons there was a rubbery substance added to the pork filler - it wasn't just meat. I bit 2 of the wontons and found the substance in all of them. I ended up tossing my soup. I then tried the wings and saw they were covered with feathers. I tossed that as well. I will never return and am calling my credit card company to get my money back. Absolutely Horrible!! read more

Wok Oriental - a piece of food on a paper plate - Chinese Near Me - Englewood, New Jersey

Ordered from here today after hearing how much better the food is here. I ordered my usual Sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice combo and a sprite. The chicken was tasty and not oily. Had more of a tempura batter feel too it. Nice little change from what I'm used to. Didn't make me feel sluggish like most Chinese food comas do. Will be back. read more

Wok Oriental - Chinese Near Me - Englewood, New Jersey

Very small mom and pop Chinese restaurant. I ordered chicken wings (seasoned very well) and vegetable lo mein. I'm very picky about my Chinese food as it's usually always too greasy or not flavored well. I'll definitely be back again. read more

This is litterally my favorite Chinese place in New Jersey. I don't trust many Chinese spots because the service is usually terrible but with this location they never fail to satisfy me. My food is always HOT , well cooked , and delicious. Plus the servers are always friendly. FIVE STARS You won't regret eating from them read more

Amazing hardworking team and tasty food. Thank you for all you do. My 15th visit observation. Enjoy. read more

Food is always plentiful, fresh, and delicious. Very friendly service as well. I'll be back again and again.

This place has been a favorite of mine for 20+ years. I've been going since they've opened. Even though my favorite, I don't order from here as often as other places because they don't deliver and they never have. They are so successful after all these years because they are so good and people are willing to go pick up. Location is convenient. It's in the ShopRite center.......as soon as you pull in off Palisade Ave on your right. When you walk in, it seems like your typical Chinese takeout place, BUT to the right is a small dining area. Order your food, wait for it in the takeout area, then bring your food into the next room. I haven't had anything I didn't like. My favorite soup is the Shrimp Wonton soup - fresh, gingery, and thin wrappers. I also enjoy the chicken wings, dumplings, and egg rolls for small snacks. All the entrees I've had have been good. Their General Tso's, Sesame, and Orange Chicken are great because they use ALL white meat! Their Honey Chicken is also very tasty - they use the same chicken that you would get with Sweet and Sour Chicken but they toss it in a honey sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds. They offer it in an appetizer portion and a meal portion! The Egg Foo Young is one of the best I've had as well. Another thing I love about this place is that their fried rice isn't yellow. A lot of Chinese places make their fried rice with yellow rice, which is not the way it should be. Check this place out if you're in the area! read more

Good Food. I am a vegeterian and so I ordered MIX VEG in GARLIC SAUCE.... the quantity is generous and the food has the right amount of spice in it. They also have HOT OIL which a lot of chinese places dont have... read more

Truly an awful meal. Possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I had a vegetable stir fry lunch special. Utter without flavour with terribly over cooked vegetables. The brown rice had a very off taste to it and the egg drop soup was watery and tasteless. I literally threw the meal away. A total wast of $8.23. If, as some of the other reviews claim, this is the best Chinese food in town then I will have to avoid Chinese food in this area. Really an awful meal. read more

I love the food at the Chinese restaurant it's amazing best food in Englewood New Jersey Chinese restaurant.

Wanted to like this place because the location is ideal but it just wasn't good -- ordered General Tso's chicken-- there was no chicken- all breading and I guess chicken flavoring? Highly disappointed. read more

Portions are ridiculously small. Their small is basically a portion for kids, and large is just for one person. Prices are not small though. Do yourself a favor walk a block farther west on Palisade Ave and go to Jade Lee. For the same price you get a large that is indeed large. read more

Service is awful. I am a vegetarian and ordered cheese wontons and it was not disclosed that there was crab in it and when I told them they claimed that crab was not meat but "seafood." Terrible place. read more

This place has the best egg drop soup I've ever had. Sure, it's nuclear yellow (I wouldn't be surprised if it glowed in the dark), but it's so damn good! It's a little salty, and plenty thick. You've got to spoon it up before it gets cool 'cuz then the viscosity goes away. I always order their Kung Pao Shrimp, but the reason I was turned on to this place was b/c of their General Tso's Chicken which was the bomb (back when I ate chicken). Their Sesame Chicken was quite good, too. It's the only Chinese place I'll go to now, since Fun Lum in my hometown changed 100%. That was a sad, sad day. :-( read more

Good food, they only use white meat in general tso chicken which is delish!!

Great for the price and convenience. Fast, friendly service. It has your usual Chinese options. It delivers. It has good access to parking right around the corner to the back of the store. Small spot, we usually order for take out. Call in advance :) this is my go to spot also when I am sick and want a large hot and sour soup! Otherwise general reaps chicken is our fav. read more

Best Chinese food in the area. They don't deliver but that's not a problem as their food is well worth a drive. Prices are comparable and the portions are pretty standard. The egg rolls aren't too greasy, great Sesame chicken and shrimp with broccoli. Give them a try! read more

Honestly one of the best Chinese food stores around town! You cannot beat their shrimp fried rice and their service is stellar ! They do not deliver which kinda sucks but the food quality is definitely worth the trek if youre able to make it out there. I usually stick to the General tso chicken but I'm sure most everything on the menu is tasty! Highly recommended ! read more

This Chinese food place is by far the best Chinese take out I ever had. It's always made fresh! You can tell by the way the food is cook. Friendly staff and quick service, The only down fall is they don't deliver. This place will never let you down. read more

Absolutely vile!!! The people who posted previous remarks must be friends of the owner. If you want to sit down and eat, you must order your food at the take out counter and bring it to the table yourself. No wait staff. That is not the worst of it! I ordered egg drop soup and it was so thick of corn starch it was disgusting. I ordered a seafood dish with assorted seafood and vegetables. I said I did not want any broccoli in it. When I saw the cook picking out broccoli I realized it was a frozen prepared dish! I have seen these on the Internet. They buy them frozen from China and reheat them at the point of sale. The imitation crab legs were tough, chewy and were sticky like chewing plastic. The salmon had a horrid taste to it. The vegetables were soft and over cooked. My girlfriends chicken dish was the same. For an appetizer, I ordered beef on a stick. I told them I didn't want any sauce on it. When I got home, I discovered it had sauce on it, so, obviously this pre made also. We would up throwing virtually everything out. I knew the chicken and salmon wasn't good when neither of our dogs would eat it. Don't waste your money here!!! read more
