Ordered the General Tso's plate with fried rice, plus a drink. Came out to ~12.50, which is pretty good value for the portion I got. I actually had to save some for leftovers. Chicken was tasty, and they give you a lot of different sauces too. My only criticism is that I wish the broccoli was cut up more. read more

I placed a simple order for pickup. While service is fast and friendly the location leaves a bit to be desired in terms of cleanliness outlook, I know most Chinese food places look messy but I was a little concerned here, I guess because it's very easy to see through. In terms of the food it was decent but each item something seemed slightly off. And I ordered basic dishes, plain lo mein, sesame chicken, pork egg roll. I've stopped by for some dishes when I grocery shopping for years just because of the convenience. I hate to leave not great reviews, but today it really piss me off. The guy back in the kitchen is so disgusting, He grabs uncooked meat and vegetables with his bare hand and reaches for his spatula, rag, etc... which I can bear, but he uses the same hand to poke around with food that has been cooked and wait for packing. I went in yesterday for the 1st time. I ordered wonton soup and wings. Took my order home and proceeded to eat the soup. Biting into the wontons there was a rubbery substance added to the pork filler - it wasn't just meat. I bit 2 of the wontons and found the substance in all of them. I ended up tossing my soup. I then tried the wings and saw they were covered with feathers. I tossed that as well. I will never return and am calling my credit card company to get my money back. Absolutely Horrible!! read more

This place has been a favorite of mine for 20+ years. I've been going since they've opened. Even though my favorite, I don't order from here as often as other places because they don't deliver and they never have. They are so successful after all these years because they are so good and people are willing to go pick up. Location is convenient. It's in the ShopRite center.......as soon as you pull in off Palisade Ave on your right. When you walk in, it seems like your typical Chinese takeout place, BUT to the right is a small dining area. Order your food, wait for it in the takeout area, then bring your food into the next room. I haven't had anything I didn't like. My favorite soup is the Shrimp Wonton soup - fresh, gingery, and thin wrappers. I also enjoy the chicken wings, dumplings, and egg rolls for small snacks. All the entrees I've had have been good. Their General Tso's, Sesame, and Orange Chicken are great because they use ALL white meat! Their Honey Chicken is also very tasty - they use the same chicken that you would get with Sweet and Sour Chicken but they toss it in a honey sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds. They offer it in an appetizer portion and a meal portion! The Egg Foo Young is one of the best I've had as well. Another thing I love about this place is that their fried rice isn't yellow. A lot of Chinese places make their fried rice with yellow rice, which is not the way it should be. Check this place out if you're in the area! read more

Truly an awful meal. Possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I had a vegetable stir fry lunch special. Utter without flavour with terribly over cooked vegetables. The brown rice had a very off taste to it and the egg drop soup was watery and tasteless. I literally threw the meal away. A total wast of $8.23. If, as some of the other reviews claim, this is the best Chinese food in town then I will have to avoid Chinese food in this area. Really an awful meal. read more

Portions are ridiculously small. Their small is basically a portion for kids, and large is just for one person. Prices are not small though. Do yourself a favor walk a block farther west on Palisade Ave and go to Jade Lee. For the same price you get a large that is indeed large. read more

Great for the price and convenience. Fast, friendly service. It has your usual Chinese options. It delivers. It has good access to parking right around the corner to the back of the store. This place has the best egg drop soup I've ever had. Sure, it's nuclear yellow (I wouldn't be surprised if it glowed in the dark), but it's so damn good! It's a little salty, and plenty thick. You've got to spoon it up before it gets cool 'cuz then the viscosity goes away. I always order their Kung Pao Shrimp, but the reason I was turned on to this place was b/c of their General Tso's Chicken which was the bomb (back when I ate chicken). Their Sesame Chicken was quite good, too. It's the only Chinese place I'll go to now, since Fun Lum in my hometown changed 100%. That was a sad, sad day. :-( read more

They do not deliver which kinda sucks but the food quality is definitely worth the trek if youre able to make it out there. Absolutely vile!!! The people who posted previous remarks must be friends of the owner. If you want to sit down and eat, you must order your food at the take out counter and bring it to the table yourself. No wait staff. That is not the worst of it! I ordered egg drop soup and it was so thick of corn starch it was disgusting. I ordered a seafood dish with assorted seafood and vegetables. I said I did not want any broccoli in it. When I saw the cook picking out broccoli I realized it was a frozen prepared dish! I have seen these on the Internet. They buy them frozen from China and reheat them at the point of sale. The imitation crab legs were tough, chewy and were sticky like chewing plastic. The salmon had a horrid taste to it. The vegetables were soft and over cooked. My girlfriends chicken dish was the same. For an appetizer, I ordered beef on a stick. I told them I didn't want any sauce on it. When I got home, I discovered it had sauce on it, so, obviously this pre made also. We would up throwing virtually everything out. I knew the chicken and salmon wasn't good when neither of our dogs would eat it. Don't waste your money here!!! read more
