When I went to Chopstix to dine in, there was only one table with two stools. Good thing there were two stools, because I went with a friend of mine and that was just the right seating I got. The service is friendly and timely. The food is a bit pricey but the steamed pork & beef dumplings I had were great. #ThankYouThursday to the workers at Chopstix Teaneck, for being there to serve me up some hot and tasty food on a cold, dark pandemicky night! I love to support local businesses, especially during a hard economic time like this. Chopstix is one of very few kosher Chinese/Asian restaurants on this side of the Hudson, and especially in this immediate area. I pass by here all the time, but have never eaten here before. Tonight I decided to change that. I called ahead for a pickup order. The man at the counter was really nice, and had my order ready to go when I arrived. Taste-wise, I wasn't sure what to expect from Chopstix. Traditional Chinese cuisine isn't exactly kosher, and there are times when the kosher version of a food can fall flat on the tastebuds of someone who is not used to eating kosher. I'm happy to say that Chopstix exceeded my expectations. The General Tso chicken was crispy and saucy (GREAT flavor!), although next time I will ask them to make it spicier. Even the little bit of broccoli garnish underneath it was cooked to perfection. The veggies in my vegetable dumplings were tasty and fresh. The wontons in my wonton soup had very little meat in them, but were still doughy and delicious in the hot chicken broth. Overall, my meal tasted authentic, but without all the grease and heaviness you get with the food from some non-kosher Chinese restaurants. Chopstix is a little pricier in comparison to other Chinese takeouts, and the portions are smaller, but the food served at Chopstix seems to be higher quality and made with care. Our favorite place for Chinese takeout. The food is really good and the prices are fair. Food is always delivered hot and the portion size is good for the price, especially the lunch special. Customer service gets an A+. We once ordered for takeout and there was a mandatory $10 charge to deliver to my area, which I didn't realize counted as a tip to the driver. I had added another $10 for tip and the owner called me to make sure I meant to leave a $20 tip and offered to adjust it. So few places would actually take the time to correct that mistake. On another occasion we received a bad batch of sesame chicken (mostly breading and not a lot of meat) so we called and they immediately added a credit to our account for the dish. Pro tip: Order in advance, especially on Fridays. We arrived at opening to place an order and they were backed up with Shabbas deliveries, plus they close early. Decided to try a new spot on my lunch break because it was local and convenient. I was skeptical at first because I've never had kosher Chinese food but I gave it a try. Guy on the phone was a little rude but whatever he might of just been having one of those days. I ordered the chicken and broccoli lunch special, the presentation was lovely and it smelled amazing. Took a bite and the broccoli tasted a little funny but I couldn't put my finger on it. The chicken is good, it tasted like actual chicken and the rice was pretty decent. As I kept eating I noticed that the broccoli tasted frozen. I kept going and felt little crunchies in some bites but this one bite did it for me. I pull this piece of aluminum out of my mouth and I'm immediately turned off and disappointed.. didn't even finish the food. I'm not sure what it was or where it came from but y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. Pieces of metal should never be in anyone's food!!! This could easily cut someone's mouth or even worst, if ingested could possibly cause harm long term to one's health. What if it was a child eating this food? Honestly this was a one and done for me. The manager, though, offered me a full refund with no fuss. im gonna start by saying the estetic and taste if the food wasn't terrible but there was quite a few things that were quite bad as well the wonton soup to start if you can even call it that the wontons would barely even hold together and the dough was slimey and fell apart in my mouth as well the fact that there was so much lettuce in the broth that that was the only thing you could taste not wonton soup that's for sure on top of that the egg roll was a extra 9 dollars on top of the meal every Chinese place I've ever eaten at includes a egg roll in the meal and a good one at that along with no rice with my beef and Chinese veg every Chinese meal pretty much includes rice but I guess not this place the crabraggo we're also mildly good at best the breading again was all wrong atleast they hit the flavor mark but i may have been less salty if the price wasn't so insane my local Chinese restaurant is ten times better then anything I ate here and it's also twice the price here but I guess that's what you get when a Chinese restaurant is ran by entirely white people not a single person in there of Asian decent so how would they know how to make proper Asian cuisine read more

The food at Chopstix is probably some of the best around Teaneck. If you go at dinner time the prices are pretty expensive. Not everything is available in a small so if you want something like General Tso Chicken, you are looking at $15 bucks. The lunch special however is probably the best deal I have seen around. For 7 bucks, you get your main dish, rice, and soup. You can even request it in Shabbos containers, which is perfect for a Friday night. Just pick it up in the after noon and reheat it. For that price how could you go wrong? The biggest complaint is how slow the service really is. Once I ordered, waited 20 minutes, and then went in, they hadn't even started cooking my food. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! I have purchased 2 lunch specials in tins for Friday night and i was told to wait 20 min, my food was not ready for 50 minuets, no exaggeration here. When i got home i unpacked the tins and they barely filled the entire tin half way up and the side fo the main only had 3 pieces of beef and 2 snow peas and the rest of the 1/2 way filled tin was just fried rice only. This is my favorite Kosher fast food restaurant in Bergen County. Service is always really fast and the food is delicious and never lacks flavor. My favorite meal is the Sesame Chicken but stir fried instead of fried. Their egg rolls and soups are also extremely delicious and filling. Great delivery service they always deliver within the hour and are honest about the wait if there is one. The only issue is how expensive it is for fast food. I would have to disagree on the food. Although it is allright, it's nothing special. I actually prefer regular Chinese food places because I found Chopstix to be very bland. My main complaint is the rice. I'm used to fried rice having a variety of vegetables like peas, carrots, and onions. Chinese fried rice is also usually made with tumeric which gives it a distinct flavor and color. The rice from Chopstix is I believe to be white rice mixed with a small amount of soy sauce. There are no other ingredients included, which I found very dissapointing. I wish I could give it a higher rating because my firends at work eat only Kosher, but I've had much tastier Chinese food around town. read more

I love the food here, by far the best kosher Chinese food in NJ! My personal favorites are the Korean chicken with hot pepper sauce LOVE IT, lomein, General tsoes chicken, sautéed string beans, ribs, and there egg rolls!
