My first experience with Blaze on Fire was picking up a takeout order. I had ordered their half chicken with chaufa over the phone. They said it would be ready in 25 minutes and it was ready for pickup when they said it would be. This might not seem like a big deal, but my wife is Peruvian, and apparently it's very common for Peruvian places to have a delay in order. There have been times I've ordered from other Peruvian restaurants and waited an extra hour for pickup. The food for takeout was great. My wife said it was weird the chaufa had so much egg in it, and i found it had a bit too much ginger myself, but it was good otherwise. The chicken also had a great charcoal flavor, so i decided we'd go back to dine-in for dinner. We went back for dinner, and were seated quickly. The menus are all on tablets, which i hate. But service was friendly. I also liked that I have the option of tap water, since many other Peruvian restaurants only offer bottled water. We ordered the Blaze Grill, which comes with skirt steak, two grilled pork chops, Peruvian kabobs (antichuchos), half rotisserie chicken, sausage, and your choice of two sides. We also added a side of rachi to the mixed grill. Like many other Peruvian mixed grills, it comes served over charcoal. Surprisingly, everything was cooked perfectly and the skirt steak was medium rare as requested. The anticuchos were cut a little thicker than i usually see, but it helped it not dry out. The rachi was super tender, and very heavily seasoned, but i like my food salty anyway. My wife was impressed by the juiciness of the breat meat on the pollo a la brasa. Everything was cooked well, seasoning was on point, and nothing was dry. I would definitely return.

First time coming here! My friend lives in the area and had mentioned that this place is great, so I had to try it--10/10! This is only my second time eating Peruvian food, and so far, this is the best. It's so good, you just want to keep eating even when you're about to explode.

We heard of this new viral Peruvian spot that makes Nikkei and Chifa as well as other Peruvian food! We had to go! Upon stepping in, the place had a great atmosphere and great decor. We ordered the Chimichurri, Huancaina and acevichado maki's with half a pollo à la brasa with fries and the churros dessert! Everything was amazing! Janet and our waiter Dave were very nice and accommodating! We will be back!

Solid Peruvian cuisine mixed with some newfound sushi makes this spot a highly recommended restaurant.

Its topped with fresh chopped onions, tomato, and cilantro. There's plenty of chicken in it. The platter itself is very small for the price, just a heads up. The aloo parathas are my go to. I've tried the one with the meat and the meat was inconsistently placed throughout the paratha. The aloo paratha is good, but could use more filling. Here's where they lost me: the raita- that yogurt sauce that comes with the paratha- is ALWAYS inconsistent. The first time I ordered the paratha this raita was the best i've ever had. It was raita with added tomato and onions. Blew my mind and I ordered it again. Next time they give me a yogurty mess that I wouldn't call a raita. No added anything. The time after that they forgot to include my raita and when I picked it up later, it was another disappointing variation. I've stopped ordering their parathas because of this since I cant eat dry partha by itself and who knows what kind of raita they'll give me. Overall, I continue to get platters from them because they're within walking distance for me and the CTM rice platter is so good.

As we waited for a meal, and I went to the bathroom, and noticed there was a prayer room. I am not of the same faith, but I found it amazingly lovely that this would be available for those who do practice this faith (beautiful). Would come back again.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Food served here is solid. ++++ Lunch Special BBQ Chicken with Caggage & Potatoes + Jerk Chicken with Fried Plantains & Mac & Cheese were all tasty. Lots of good flavors on all of it. ++++ Lunch Specials have good variety to choose from + 2 sides - fried chicken, jerk chicken, baked chicken, BBQ chicken, etc. ++++ Lunch Specials are $10 (as of January 2026), but some items are $1ish more. + Noticed that the dinner special portions are definitely A LOT larger, but they are also pricier. + Plenty of seating inside. + Private parking lot in the back of the restaurant. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Dined from 12-12:30 on a Friday afternoon and it was empty inside when we arrived, however, it did get a little busier after we began eating.
