Came here to pick up lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. They prepared my order pretty quickly. I was excited to try this place but admittedly the chicken was just okay. The rice was good but I just did not get a wow factor. If I never eat this again I would not be upset however if I need lunch and just want to eat something this would do. I will not be back for the roasted chicken. Maybe next time, if there is one, I'll try something else.

Lunch special

Ordered the daily lunch special via Uber eats and the food came packaged well, piping hot, and super fresh. The Thursday special was a piece of pollo a las brasa served with yellow rice, fried cassava, and a stew. For close to $9 this meal was a steal. Everything was tasty and was a very generous portion given it was a lunch special. Would order from here again to try all of the other different lunch special options besides just the pollo they are known for.

Rotisserie chicken and maduros

I gotta say this was a little bit disappointing! I ordered online for in store pick up and they were nice enough to call me when I hadn't picked up my order after about an hour of ordering. I imagined this to be something similar to Noches De Colombia but unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected. I ordered the smaller version of their skirt steak with a side of Maduros and yellow rice, my husband got their rotisserie chicken and maduros and we shared an order of empanadas (potato). My skirt steak wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The meat was nice and juicy and of course with their chimmichurra sauce, it was 10x better. The meat itself was a little bit bland but the sauce definitely made up for it. The yellow rice wasn't anything I hadn't had before so it was pretty basic for me. I was very disappointed in the maduros because it was really dry. I like mine to be a little mushy with a nice glaze over it so l was pretty upset that I ordered this over tostones. The chicken my husband got was actually very good and I wish I would've gotten that instead with a side of rice. The chicken was extremely juicy and the skin was perfectly cooked. The most disappointing dish was the empanadas! I'm not sure what kind of shell was used but I didn't like the shell at all. It was overly crunchy and it really didn't do much for me compared to Noches. I wouldn't say I'd come back next week but I would keep this in mind for other things, should I decide to come back..

Usually love this spot. Order dine in and take out on a regular. I (Hispanic) usually go up to order, but this time I had my boyfriend go up and order. The woman at the front counter told my boyfriend (African American) there was no rotisserie chicken left-ok no problem. I go to sit by the window to review the menu for another order. I see the heater open behind the counter and what's in there? 3 rotisserie chickens. So I go up to ask "do you have rotisserie chicken" the answer is now YES. I would've never thought this establishment to be racist as I've been coming here since 2014, I was sadly mistaken. What a pathetic excuse for customer service and human decency.

The chicken with yellow rice was delicious.

Glad my husband and I stopped here and I was pleasantly surprised to see how a Main St. storefront entrance made way to a beautifully themed restaurant. Nice ambiance, cute decor and friendly service. I loved that you could see the Columbian influences in the decor. We were greeted as we walked in and the staff we encountered were all really nice. Ice water, lime slices and green hot sauce were brought brought to the table first. The waitress came quickly and we placed our order. The rotisserie chicken was tender and delicious. The plaintains and tostones came out hot and fresh. The yellow rice was cooked perfectly and although not super flavorful the hot sauce was perfect on the rice. I'm sure it would be delicious with beans but we didn't order beans. We also tried two smoothies, the mango was my favorite but the passion fruit was good too but a little tart and not as sweet as the mango. I will return without a doubt for that mango smoothie. I'd also like to stop in for breakfast because the breakfast menu items looked interesting. Good food, great ambiance and great service. Solid 3.5 and bumped to 4 for excellent customer service.

I can't believe I'm just visiting this place!! LOVE good Colombian food and this one hits it right…read moreon the nail (is that even a phrase)? Anyway, came here on a weekday afternoon and wasn't busy at all- that's not to say that the food/bakery wasn't good. It was AMAZING. I got the lunch special which was chicken soup with breaded filet, salad and rice for $12.99. WHAT! And that portion was BIG as you can see from the pictures. Our server was attentive and got us whatever we needed almost right away! My breaded filet came out delicious. Perfect amount of crispy where it's not overdone and it wasn't drenched in any sauce that made the filet soggy. The house salad was simple yet flavorful and that chicken noodle soup was SO hearty that I wanted to go in the kitchen and scoop myself more. The place is big and bright and clean. Bakery on one side of the restaurant for quick take out and restaurant to the right. There's street parking but there's also parking in the back where the giant farmer market is, but it can be a busy lot. I came back here again with my husband another day and had another lunch special which was grilled chicken with mushroom sauce and my husband had a 16oz churrasco, all cooked to perfection. We got some bakery goods to go and we can't wait to have them later. Highly recommend this place!!

The…read morespace is cavernous, with a fun, festive vibe for those chasing ambiance, along with two enormous TVs for those who just want to kick back and watch some sports with their meal. The menu is diner-deep, but nearly every dish is accompanied with a photo. As newcomers, we found this especially helpful. The fried calamari are fantastic. Hot, freshly fried, and perfectly tender. My husband, who is particular about those tentacle pieces, was delighted to see half our plate covered with them. Since we were at a Columbian restaurant, we wanted to try something authentic but felt too shy to ask around, so we went with something from the specials section called 'chicken with Columbian mushroom sauce'. Wowza was that good. I have no idea how true to the culture it was, but that cream sauce was something else. We dragged everything we could through the last droplets, unwilling to see it wasted. The specials also come with rice, choice of salad or soup, choice of beans, and fried plantains. It's a generous serving size, so much that one shared entree, plus an appetizer and salad, was more than enough food for us. All servers are equipped with ear pieces to directly communicate with staff and the kitchen. It seemed a little overkill at first...until we found out how efficiently the service was as a result. While ordering an entree, for instance, our server was able to quickly chat with the back staff to check if there was any soup left. When we were done with our meal, a busser was able to quickly flag down our server for the check. And when there was a massive crash and spill at a nearby table because some kid chucked his water glass, three people descended upon the mess in - no joke - under ten seconds because of this radio. It's a frighteningly efficient system, and it meant we hardly ever needed to wait for anything. While we didn't get to try anything from the drink or desserts menu this visit, know that the selection is tantalizing. We vowed to return for the margarita flights and the pastries on display at the in-house bakery.
