Small-ish storefront on Main Street with street parking and I'm sure some municipal lot somewhere. ( 2nd locatgion in New Milford) Friendly staff and experienced bartender. Great drinks are made here and I highly recommend the Happy Hour with great prices on food\drink. Bar area ( 9 seats) is clean & impressive, and dining room bright & cheery. Stopped in during HH and had a few drinks waiting for my To Go order. Excellent Mojito cocktail; Red Sangria was very good too A group of us all agreed; One of The Best Cuban sandwiches anywhere. Stuffed with plenty of marinated pork & ham. And served with perfect plantain chips ( freshly made, not like the jawbreakers you get elsewhere.) Best corn tamale ( topped with fried pork (chicharron) and criolla) ever. So fresh, soft and flavorful The steamed yucca bathed in garlicky mojo sauce was cooked perfectly and every bite delectable. Empanadas may be small but very flavorful; I had the oxtail and the spinach with manchego cheese. Sooo good. Can't wait to try the brie with mushroom. The only item that fell flat for me was the chicken wings tossed in Cilantro and lime mojo. Needed more cilantro & lime!!! ( it also comes in a Spicy mango habanero sauce) Dessert menu sounds really good. Looking forward to eating here again. Highly recommended.

Known for their empanadas. A few parking spots out front, not really meant for dine in anyway. Wasn't busy at all on the Monday afternoon I went, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of their orders were just Uber eats or catering runs. Price Point: Around $2.50-$3.50/empanada. Overall seemed very reasonable for the quality/quantity of the food. The rest of the items seemed well priced too although I only got empanadas. Pros: Service was quick, food was made fresh, and everything tasted delicious. It was a very simple lunch run for me and it was executed perfectly. Cons: Since they weren't very busy, they weren't sure if they had the gyro meat for my gyro empanada, but were able to find it and whip it up. Could've just been an off day and they were waiting on inventory, which isn't much of a con, but it's the only thing that had potential to ruin my quick lunch. Overall: Highly recommend trying this place out! Never knew it existed and I'm certainly going back for more empanadas and other food. Great local small business that I am happy to support in my hometown.

We've passed this restaurant many times on a busy River Road in Fair Lawn and decided to stop in. Upon entering this warm and cozy interior without a reservation as first-timers, my partner and I managed to locate a table outside on this summer-like day. Juany's Cafe is a cozy, family-run establishment making a great impression as a place for brunch on locals and visitors. The owner is Peruvian, and the Mexican cook began in the kitchens of his homeland, known for its authentic Latin-inspired cuisine. We decided on the Latin bowl with marinated steak accompanied by black beans, sautéed veggies, avocado, and sweet plantains & Grilled Chicken Burritos with Sweet Potato Fries. Complimentary fruit salad started our meal. All ingredients were fresh, and the seasonings were unique with their bold flavors. There was a wait time for food as everything was homemade, made to order, and well presented. The prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the food. Our server was friendly and accommodating. The service was a bit slow due to a large party group. Brunch is the norm here, but we can't wait to try it out for dinner.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!…read more Every year I order the holiday special. I got a half tray of pernil, Moro de guandules, half tray of green salad and a round platter of macaroni salad, with two 2 litters soda. When I placed the order with Danilda, I was very specific to tell her that I will be picking up the order on Friday but that the food needed to be very fresh because it was going to be consumed Saturday morning. I even called a second time someone said the manager will contact me that same day.. fast forward two weeks, still waiting for that phone call! Terrible service! Money wasted, our thanksgiving a mess because I put my trust in these people to feed my family. Been a loyal customer for the holidays for years and not even because of the loyalty do I get a call back! Shame on you Caribbean Station!
