I ordered Lomo saltado; the steak was overcooked and had no flavor; the sauce lacked oyster sauce and ají amarillo- and it was a bit redish. The steak looked that it had been boiled and then fried. We also ordered Tacu Tacu- and it was terrible; the rice was oily on the sides; the steak way too overcooked and hard. The passion fruit drink was good; but it had a weird after taste; the Chicha drink was the I my thing that was really good. I would not recommend this place,.

The fried rice was very good, but I could not eat much because it was salty to me. Also, the fries were good, but I would get them on the side next time, because I don't like my fries soggy. The service was great. They pre-added a tip to a party of 2. I will not return. There was only a very small amount of beef. Not worth the price.

Patient and ready to answer all of our questions. For appetizers, we had the ceviche flight, trio uches, and a dish that layered potato and chicken. Absolute favorite was the ceviche, such a fresh and flavorful dish! The others delivered in the flavor department as well but I'm a sucker for ceviche. For main dishes, we shared Lomo Saltado, pollo saltado, and grilled octopus. The Saltado dishes were excellent, meat was tender and the fries took on the flavor of everything else. Also enjoyed the grilled octopus, as it was tender and served in a delicious sauce. Would certainly return to Lomo Saltado!

I recently visited a small Peruvian restaurant located inside a shopping mall, which made parking…read morevery convenient. The space itself is cozy but well-organized, and we were able to get seated right away without any wait. The decor is inviting, and the music added a nice touch to the overall atmosphere. One thing I personally didn't care for was the menu being on a tablet at the table--it felt less straightforward than a traditional menu, especially when it came to understanding pricing. For our meal, I ordered the lomo saltado and substituted the usual white rice for chaufa. We also ordered salchipapa, tallarín verde with grilled chicken, and three sodas. Presentation-wise, all the dishes were beautifully plated, which definitely made a strong first impression. The tallarín verde was the standout of the meal--flavorful, well-balanced, and served in a just-right portion. The lomo saltado itself was good, but the chaufa rice was noticeably salty and ended up overpowering the rest of the dish. The salchipapa, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing. It was mostly French fries with only a small amount of sausage and very light on sauce. Where the experience really fell short was the billing. The prices displayed on the tablet did not match what we were ultimately charged. We were billed extra for grilled chicken and sirloin steak in the lomo saltado, even though no alternatives or pricing differences were clearly explained when ordering. The only additional charge that was communicated upfront was the substitution for chaufa rice. Transparency in pricing is important, and it was frustrating to see unexpected charges added at the end. For three entrées and three sodas, the total came out to around $100, including an automatic 18% gratuity. While the food had some highlights, the lack of clear pricing and unexpected charges--combined with a menu system I didn't find user-friendly--left a negative impression. Overall, while the ambiance and some dishes were enjoyable, the billing experience makes me hesitant to return.
