Came here on a World Cup evening where Colombia played Ghana. The ambiance was festive as the crowd was cheering for Colombia. This place has two section: bakery and main dinning area. The main dinning area was surrounded by TVs that was showing the game live. The bakery had multiple sweets, bakeries, and food on display. We ordered Pargo and a traditional Colombian dish. Came here yesterday with a party of 7 after my God son's christening in NJ. It wasn't too crowded and the restaurant is a decent size. We were seated immediately, the service was fast, and waitress was kind. I had the passionfruit sangria which was really good. For my entree, I had the steak with onions, white rice, and maduros (sweet plantain). The portion size was huge for the price and the food was flavorful. First of all this place is too big and disorganized. We went there as a party of 7 and all ordered our food and drinks. Our drinks came and we waited at least 30 minutes or more for our food. My fish came but had no flavor and was cold. The waitress never came back around to see if we needed additional drinks or water. Someone in the group order Tostones with some kind of meat on them by the time they got to the table they were soggy. There were items we ordered that were not bought to the table but they intended on charging us if we hadn't paid attention. This place has lost its charm. It use to be better years ago. If ZERO STARS was an option, that would be it. We entered the restaurant and there was an unpleasant smell going on from the bakery. We came on a very busy day and the server explained how food was going to take an hour to come out. We completely understood and were patient. Over an hour passes by, I noticed other tables sitting after us receiving their food. More time passes and a large table near us seats 45 minutes after us and receives their appetizers before us. I felt we were more patient and understanding but once food continues to come out to tables seated after us, that was the end of the waiting game. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! We confronted our server and the manager numerous times but all they could do was apologize. The manager tried to attempt to comp the appetizers but there were zero appetizers on the table to comp. The kitchen should have a system of food output regardless of how busy it is. Appetizers come out first and then entrees. On this day, nothing came out for over an hour and a half. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and you can't even pay for my meal to return to this vomit smelling establishment. read more

I am truly surprised by the 3.2 star rating as I found Noches in Hackensack to be very well Tun offering amazing food. I learned about their parking lot after the fact - nice bonus! The restaurant had a lot of people buzzing around and the live music added another level of entertainment without disrupting table conversation. On a busy Friday night we were seated promptly despite not having a reservation. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in on us throughout the evening. We ordered pan de bono as a sweet appetizer - always hits the spot. For the main entrees, we ordered the Pollo a la Colombiana , Pollo Saltado, and Arroz con pollo. All dishes were large and full of flavor though I did think their ratios in the arroz con pollo were a little off compared to other locations. For dessert, we got the pan de bono waffle and the bread pudding. Can't go wrong with either but the pan de bono waffle was unique - recommend ordering that one! read more

The worst lomo saltado ever. 2 orders of it and both plates were filled with the fattiest cuts of meat ever. We showed the waitress who brought the manager over and he insisted this is how the dish is meant to be prepared and it is NY cuts of meat and he knows best because he is from Colombia. I was appalled by the attitude and lack of understanding to the point he wanted to aggressively defend the dishes. Sorry but never again. I will try to post photos but definitely do not recommend unless you enjoy chewing on grizzle. read more

I have visited other locations of Noches but this one was super special. We went on a weekday afternoon ... restaurant was huge with so many tables to sit/dine . They also have outdoor seating . They have a very good bar inside . Service was very good .. Just take a note that they have some lunch specials - they hid it in the last page of the menu .. first few pages has full lunch and when we saw lunch specials we were super ecstatic! About 12$ for a meal was amazing . They give salad , sweet banana fritters, rice/bean, and then the main dish - chicken/ fish etc ! Loved this restaurant overall.. 5 stars read more

Recently had dinner at Noches de Colombia and it was a great experience. We were seated right away and immediately noticed their renovations since my last visit. The new bakery section looked really nice and everything looked so delicious! It was a Friday night so there was some live entertainment. We started with an appetizer of the sharing picadita which included mini empanadas, sausage slices, chicharon pieces, and yuca fries with various dipping sauces. So yummy! And then for my entree I had ordered the paisita which is a smaller version of the popular Colombian dish of the bandeja paisa. The meal includes skirt steak, sausage, crunchy chicharon, egg, white rice, avocado, side of beans, and maduros. My fave dish and even for a mini-- there was still so much food! Have picked food to go from here multiple times already. My mom and I decided to stop in and dine in for a late lunch/early dinner. They have a large dining room and the staff is extremely friendly. I had the bandeja paisa and everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The pork belly was both meaty and crunchy without being greasy. Same treatment for the chorizo. I've tried a few other Noches in Bergen County and this is my favorite. Street parking; Huge inside with many enormous TVs for watching sports. Sparse on decorations but what more do you need? Huge selection of cocktails & food, but you better be hungry because the portions are plenty ! The drinks ( tried the mojitos, margaritas, sangria, lychee martinis) are some of the best I've had and not skimpy on the alcohol. Friendly, attentive staff. Service is pretty quick. There are so many options, Apps, salads, sandwiches, full entrees.... The fried corn cakes (arepa) with guacamole was very good. Chicharrons (pork cracklin') was a little tough and dry. I wouldn't get again. I had the 16 oz churrasco which was very good but since we had a bunch of appetizers I should have gotten the 12oz. But most of all prices are great for the quantity. It was my first time here. We came for dinner without a reservation and we're seated immediately. This restaurant has a cozy family feel to it. The ambiance is inviting with amazing paintings that make you feel like you're in Colombia. They have a little stage set up for live music. When we were there they did not, but the music playing was perfect. We had actually came here after another location had their music way to loud for any of us to hear each other and the inside was way too dark. So this location was a breath of fresh air for us. The pictures on the menu look like small portions, but I was shocked with how generous the portions were. Entrees come with 2 choices of sides. The sides include arroz, Maduro, fritas, papas, frijoles and yuca. I chose the noches paella with double Maduro because who doesn't like sweet plantains? One word: WOW! There were generous amounts of seafood in my paella and the portion was so big I had enough for dinner and took some home for breakfast the next morning. Drinks between the four of us we each tried I different flavor of limonada. I got the coconut and the flavor was really rich and delicious! The service was also amazing! Yay another Noches location closer to my home. The added bonus of free parking in busy downtown Hackensack in the lot behind the restaurant. Very large interior to the restaurant. With plenty of outdoor seating with a nice covered awning. Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday and you are never disappointed by a noches. I have to say out of all the locations I've been to food and flavor is very consistent. Our server was friendly and helpful. Our drinks and appetizer came out very quickly which was great because we were starving. Our main dishes also came out pretty fast. I had to feed some friends and family after my mother's interment. This place was recommended to us and it delivered! Food was nice and tasty. The meet platter I got was full of meat that was cooked properly and had a delicious flavor. Cerviche was awesome as well. I let everyone order what they want and no one complained. Drinks by the way were string and yum. Service was perfect considering there were at least 20+ people in attendance. Yup... another Noches de Colombia on the rise! This one definitely stands out with it's modern feel. Built from scratch including their menu. Very colorful, vibrant and tasty. From their drinks to menu items. My go-to is the chicharrones. That's one way to judge a spot is by the cut of pork and the frying process. Came out hot and crispy with a side of the zesty salsa you are in heaven with this tasty snack as you take down some tequila and cerveza's. They have plenty of indoor seating, bar area and table tops. They do open up the front sliding doors for an open feel with some cool sidewalk seating as well. The view is nothing to rave about since it's located on the main street. FYI: Parking is in the back of the building, down the driveway. read more

One reason I am giving a low review is because the times I had been there, I had to wait at least 30 minutes, the waitress weren't too friendly and they charge for every extra sauce like salsa rosada. In addition, they have been raising their prices since the COVID-19. Blonde that COVID-19 is ended, prices remain higher which by the way most businesses are abusing the customers. read more

I'm Excited I got to try this restaurant. We have one opening up in CT in Stamford and can't wait! It's such a cute restaurant, pretty roomy inside. Has a nice bar area, a bakery section where they will sell bread, empanadas, Pandebono , ice cream and more. The music was great, played some good Vallenatos. This is a nice restaurant to go in the evening for dinner. All the waiters/ waitresses were so attentive, friendly, kind and always stopped in to check in . Amazing service. The food, no complaints. Prices were very good and the amount of food you get is worth it and delicious. They have appetizers Sides, desserts, soups, drinks and a few pages of main dishes with weekly specials. Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! Parking is located in the rear/around the block. While there's no back entrance, the walk to the main entrance is only a few feet away. Parking is free; yet, don't forget to tip the gentleman standing out there guiding everyone's car. I attended a birthday celebration with 8 people total. We had 2 pitches of sangria, appetizers and entrees. After splitting our bill amount 7 we paid $50 each. This included tax and gratuity. The food overall was delicious and portioned greatly. Half of our table took home leftovers. The montaditos de carne were my favorites! The mini empanadas were truly mini. Yet, filled with meat and not greasy. Their flavored sangria is on the top of my drinks list. Shout out to our waiter, Sebastian. He was highly attentive with a great charisma to everyone. His recommendation were spot on. His patience for our table didn't go unnoticed. All workers joining in to singing happy birthday was nice. The bakery section is located steps from the restaurant side. Excellent food, huge portions, friendly service. This location is my favorite of the chains. There is street parking and also parking in the back. The red sangria we got a pitcher of was delicious and strong. I shared it between 3 people and it was the perfect amount. I recommend the arepa & guac appetizer. The arepas are so crispy and heavenly with the guacamole. I ordered the flounder & shrimp entree that came with rice and salad. It was a lot of food and I even got to pack some home for leftovers. The bar area was packed and people were watching a game. I'd come back for drinks next time. Everything was great but losing 1star because they automatically added gratuity for a party of 3 while our bill was under $150. FYI: It states on the bottom that "gratuity is added for a bill over $150." Our server made the correct and brought us our new bill but I did not like this when I saw the first bill. read more

I have been coming here for at least the past 10 years. I was always a frequent visitor of the Englewood location and was elated to see that they opened one closer. The food is top tier and I have never left disappointed! I frequently bring my friends who are not familiar with Colombian cuisine and always leave wanting to come back for more! The traditional bandeja paisa is very similar to food you can get in Medellin! In the countless times I've been here, I have only ever gotten the best service! Drinks are always amazing and are great value for the price. I love what they did with adding a bakery, it makes it so much easier to stop by and grab a pandebono to-go! The dining room is always busy especially on Friday and Saturday nights when they typically have live music! She had a combo meat dish and I had the mar y Tierra. The food was perfectly cooked. Was disappointed that it only came with one side. Took us a moment to figure out what to order with all their options. For the table we got the 10 piece mini empanadas, pandebono, and calamari. The empanadas were dangerously good. I could eat that entire serving and more like chips. The pandebono was also very fresh and delicious. The calamari was good and crispy. For myself I ordered the 12 oz churrasquito, and my two sides were maduros and beans. I also ordered a side of the avocado salad. Everything came out great and fresh. They also sold fresh fruit shakes as well which I will have to get another time. This place is bigger than I thought. They have a bar.. bakery connected to the restaurant.. good music. Went here on a Friday night for my sister's birthday. It was a group of 5 adults, 2 kids, and 1 baby. We were told they do not do reservations. You have to walk in which usually means a wait. We waited about 20 minutes and were seated to the far left side by the bar, which is usually best for us lol. The waitress was very friendly and took everyone's orders. We ordered pitchers of the sangria. I believe it was passion fruit. It was pretty good, a bit too sweet for me but once the ice melted a bit it was good. I ordered my usual, pechuga de pollo a la marinera. It has a very creamy white Alfredo-like sauce and comes with shrimp, white rice, and grilled chicken breast. I ALWAYS order this because I really think it is superb. The only reason I removed a star was because the waitress did not tell us they would be closing down at 10 and we had just received our additional pitchers. She said it was last call for the kitchen but not "we are closing shortly." They were kind enough to provide containers to take home, but I really would have preferred to drink it there or not at all. Nonetheless, good experience. I come here from time to time. If you want good food, go here. TIP: Once you order, be sure to confirm with the waitress that your order has been recorded correctly.
