I had a very negative experience with the valet service at the restaurant due to the valet attendant being extremely rude and directing me to park at a hotel with no clear signage for the restaurant. When I expressed my concern about his behavior, he dismissed me and insisted it was "policy," then followed me into the restaurant, which felt harassing. When I raised the issue with the restaurant manager, she was unhelpful, did not allow me to fully speak, and showed no customer service or concern for my experience. I later called back hoping for a more understanding manager, but was again spoken over and told the valet is a separate company, with no effort made to address my discomfort or dissatisfaction, which left me feeling unsupported and unsafe as a customer. Noches de Colombia en Little Ferry Pictured is the Pechuga a La Colombiana with plátano maduros and yuca fries. Also maracuya for the drink. The food was delicious. Sauce was creamy and in plethora so every bite was yummy, chicken breast was massive so it did fill me up very quickly. The yuca fries were mid, I have had better in tiene visit/locations. The mushroom sauce was delightful to combine with the sides as well. The maracuya was sour which I've never had like before. If that's how they normally are here, then I don't recommend. I've only ever had sweet maracuya so maybe I didn't order with sugar, but it was sour. Service was good. A lot of servers were around to take us to our table and get our order done quickly. Very family friendly vibe in the restaurant with lots of different tv options. They have fun events on weekends like karaoke night. Likelihood I go back is very high. So the bill came for $229 and I gave them $230 cash, I have the habit of having my wife double check my payment. After I pay a couple minutes later the waiter came back saying I only gave her $210 (keep in mind not only did I check the money but my wife doble checked) So at the end I ended up paying $250 for a $229 bill. We sat down, ordered all our food, and waited over an hour for it to come out. When we asked to speak to the manager, the explanation was simply that it's Valentine's Day and they're busy. I understand it's a busy holiday -- but what I don't understand is how tables that arrived 30-40 minutes after us were already served their food while we were still waiting. It's okay to admit when a mistake was made. What's not okay is poor communication. One of the waitresses was honest with us about what really happened, and I truly appreciate her for keeping it real instead of making excuses. We stopped here for lunch with a large party, and everything went pretty smoothly. With no reservation, we were seated within almost a minute. The atmosphere was definitely a big takeaway, very clean, and appealing to look at with neon lights and decorations. As we sat, we noticed our table was kind of cramped and tight, making it hard to not only move around, but with our table not wide enough, plates almost started to get on top of each other. It was a bit of a turnoff, but we managed it just fine. Having it a bit wider would help significantly. With that, our waitress along with a trainer waiter helped us and did a wonderful job serving. The foods we got tasted very well and had no issues. I personally ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with loads of flavor and was top-notch. It was messy, yes, but still worth it. Came here for a New Year's day meal. Again I feel like this is the best Noches location. Very spacious and the staff amazing. Food comes out quickly and the portions always enormous. Always bringing leftovers home. Today we had the pollo colombiana which is grilled chicken and creamy mushroom sauce, the grilled fish with garlic butter sauce, a kids breaded chicken with fries, the tostones sampler with all kinds of meats on them and you cant forget the beef empanadas... always a MUST. We also got a coconut margarita pitcher and it was delicious, not too sweet and not too strong. For dessert we ordered the birthday tres leches for my sis in law and they came out with a huge show! Loud birthday music, sparklers! Birthday sign! I loved it! Maybe not so much the bday girl bc she was embarrassed but i thought it was great! This place has gone to shit. Sorry to be so aggressive but I hate a place that has poor service. We ordered dinners and rice and beans and some empanadas. When we got home and set up to eat my girlfriend didn't get her rice for her meal. We don't live two minutes away to just fly back and get it and our food be warm still by the time I get home. So we expected at least a refund. They were apologetic but would not issue a refund. Only credit for the rice under our phone number so next time we order the rice will be free. Well to me that is shit poor service. What good are the second order of beans I ordered for my girls plate if there is no rice. I had to share my rice with her and then we had a hole container of beans left over that will go to waste. I hadn't gone to this place in a while because they were making mistakes like this before so we gave a break for a while and first time back in a while bang here we go. Just disappointing. Came in on a Friday night, the wait was about 10 minutes which wasn't bad at all. The place is like a lounge with loud music and club lights. The music was okay, they repeated a lot of the songs. We shared the passion fruit sangria which was really good. We had the cheese arepitas as our appetizer, they were also really good. My friend had the Hawaiian chicken and I had the sautéed shrimp. My friend enjoyed her chicken but mentioned that the dish had way too much pineapple. My shrimp dish was just okay. The sauce was advertised as a sweet tomato sauce but I am pretty sure it was pure ketchup because that's what it smelled/ tasted like. The service was very slow but the place was pretty packed so that was to be expected. Towards the middle of our dinner the music got so loud that I couldn't have a conversation with my friend. Upon exiting the car the valet was very personable, and stepping into the front entrance the customer service greeting was extended with smiles. You felt welcomed. Upon being seated, the atmosphere was very lively. Our waitress Amelia was so proficient, friendly and professional. We both ordered the grilled chicken breast but with one order of onions and sweet plantains. Chicken, tasty and well-seasoned, beans, firm not mushy, onions sautéed, tender, plantains, soft, sweet, custard interior, golden brown, fried just right. I am here to tell you that the entire meal was so good but we couldn't eat it all. The service and bartenders were disappointing. It took nearly 30 minutes to receive a single beer, even though the establishment wasn't busy. One bartender left, and the other served the same beer I had ordered to other patrons that came in after me. I just decided to leave and ironically, after I left without being served, the bartender chased after me, mistakenly thinking I had received my beer and left without paying. Ist time at this location. Cool ambience and spacious (they have dancing on certain nights so i'm sure that's the dance floor in the middle). First notable thing is that the staff seems friendly and were very attentive. Our waitress, Daniela, made the night very pleasant. Even the Manager greeted us to make sure was everything was alright. We sat down at 6:30 so it wasnt crowded yet and we weren't rushed at all. I'm non-Latino so i ordered the Shrimp in Garlic (to be safe). I make mine with much more garlic but it was still tasty. My Spanish friend said her Arroz y Pollo was very good. The Sangria was great but PRICEY. The cochoritto was good but we're used to stronger. It's a shame my nice time ended with a cocky VALET. This is my usual location when I go to Noches de Colombia. I think it was a strip club at some point, because the interior's layout is a little weird. But it is clean and pretty well decorated. As with the other locations, the portion sizes for the price are quite large. I usually order a sandwich or a dinner special if my timing is right. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Frijolada, a mixture of ground beef, beans, avocado, plantains, and rice. Somehow, they forgot the rice, but my waitress was quick to bring me a side of rice as soon as I mentioned it. First off, valet parking is annoying. I'm perfectly capable of parking my vehicle, thanks. Not a huge deal but I'd greatly prefer self-park. The location is pretty big and has an interesting layout. There are different "tiers" of seating so I suppose each one gives a different view of the restaurant. I happened to go on karaoke night which was...loud. I didn't mind though. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered an arepa frita con pollo. I was a little confused about how to eat it, but it was a generous portion and it tasted pretty good. I really liked how it came with avocado. My brother got the frijolada and I tasted some. It was also quite nice. Though the portions are pretty big I feel the prices on some of the entrees are a little high (but I'm also cheap af). I didn't grab any pan de bono this time, but if it's anything like their other locations, it's bomb. This is probably closer to 3.5 stars but I'll round down for that pesky valet parking. read more

Horrible service. Told me to wait 15 minutes for the food. I waited over 35. When we went over they had it in the back, and all they were doing was talking. Food is average. This is a chain so I would avoid this area if you can. They require valet as well so you're forced even though it's pick up. The valet didn't even give us a ticket when he took the car and asked for a ticket when we were trying to leave which didn't make sense either. read more

Came here for my friend's birthday this past weekend, accidently ended up at the other Hackensack location initially. I must say this location is much nicer! Parking is extremely tight at the other location as well, this location has free valet parking which is kinda nice. I've been to other locations for Noches De Columbia and I've always been a fan. The service is pretty good and the prices are very reasonable - you get huge portions too! I always go with the Churrasco but everything here is pretty good. Ordered the Pechuga a Al Plancha ($12.95) and Pandebono ($1.50) You get pretty big portion of grilled chicken with rice and two pieces of plantains.
