Loved this spot! We were driving through Garfield looking for a coffee shop and stumbled upon this cozy spot. Ordered 2 cafes con Leche, and three versions of cheese bread. Loved it all! Service was fast and friendly. Space was clean. Music was a little loud but festive. The dining area was full so we sat outside on the nice black benches on the newly poured sidewalks. Love love love this place. In my opinion is the best authentic Columbian restaurant. Their mini empanada beef or chicken are a MUST!! You can't have just one. They bake everything onsite. I've had their grilled chicken and it's juicy, plus tostones (fried green plantains) and sweet plantains, salad bowls are amazing! I always look forward to going back. Ordered a pick up. Timing was great, it was ready before the pick up time. When I walked in the place was pretty cute and welcoming. The food was okay, the avocado salad was good with a little more avocado then usual which I can't complain. I did order a Hawaiian empanada which I was disappointed in, there was one piece of ham and 2 small pieces of pineapple, the rest of the empanada was cheese. Overall a good quick snack. This place is not far from my office. It's a small place with a few parking spaces in the back of the building and with street parking out front. The staff is very friendly. I usually come here for the soup. They have daily specials, but on Wednesdays you have to call ahead of time to ask what the soup is. read more

I ordered bistec encebollado for me and my boss. I clearly asked if it came with rice and was told yes so I went ahead and ordered a side of beans and tostones. Food came over an hour later, luke warm, and with no rice. I called to complain and was told that you only get 2 sides and they counted the beans and tostones as our sides. Who the hell eats beans with no rice. I tried to make the best of it but the bistec was so bland and almost all FAT. I tasted the watery beans, also bland. I don't think they know what salt it. My poor boss couldn't eat his either. We threw everything away and had to pick up food at Franks Pizzeria. What a waste of $30!! read more
