The food was delicious and our server, Kevin, was very nice and helpful! I would definitely come again!

Gracias a Camila! The food was great and service was amazing. We came after a long day of shopping and it was just what we needed

I visited this location today and part of my order was missing - I called and was told it was still there. Being I was already 25 minutes away I simply asked for a refund but was told they couldn't do that. My only option was a "credit" to a place I don't ever go to - I just happened to be in the area. I explained this and was told that was my only option so they just openly admitted to a) not giving me what I paid for and b) wouldn't give me a refund. Not a huge amount and not worth fighting with them over but just goes to show the way they handle customer service. Terrible. read more

Had a really great experience overall. The bartenders and waiters were attentive, friendly, and made everything feel smooth and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was fun, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding while still having a good time. On top of that, the food was genuinely impressive very tasty, rich in flavor, and consistently satisfying. Every dish felt well-prepared and worth it. Definitely a spot you can count on if you don't want to miss out on good food and a solid, enjoyable vibe. read more

Loved this spot! Went with a party of 7, food was delicious and service was amazing, thanks to our server Kevin! We ordered two coconut lemonades which were too sour but then Kevin went and made them himself and it was perfect. The portions are very filling, everyone left satisfied. I love noches but the one in Clifton it's not it. I placed an order for delivery at 6:00pm. It's 7:30 and the driver left literally 5 minutes ago. My food it's COLD. I called to ask about the order around 6:45 pm and said listened it's been an hour?? And the lady on the phone said: "con la pena".. con la pena???? Y que hago con tus penas and my cold food???. Honestly not worth it. Better go to the one in Hackensack. read more

Stopped by spontaneously because the restaurant we originally planned to go to had too long of a wait, and I'm so glad we did! Everything was great but their carne asada is particularly delish and definitely a must try. Portions are very generous as well - my friend and I shared the bandeja paisa and we couldn't finish it. Our waiter offered us hot sauce, one which was similar to spicy mayo and one that reminded me of habanero salsa verde, and both of them were so tasty with our meal. He was also very attentive and friendly. 10/10 would come again! read more

My friend and I were craving Mexican food, unfortunately La Fortaleza was packed on a Saturday night. We had to look elsewhere for dinner. We found this place was near by and decided to try it. The place was no where near full of people like Fortaleza was. We got seated right away which was a relief because by 9pm at night we were both nearly starving! We got seated and we took less than 5 minutes to put out cocktail and dinner choices in. Unfortunately that did not make a difference even though the establishment was no where near half capacity. We had to wait an entire hour for our steaks to come out, which unfortunately, arrived room temperatures even though we urged the server that we were very hungry and to do his best to get our order to the table as soon as possible. This was no concern of his, we saw him walking by the kitchen talking to the staff but not really doing anything productive. By the time we both got out steaks they were lukewarm meaning they had been sitting out waiting to be brought to the table for some time. Very dissatisfied, this is the first time I go to a "Noches" restaurant and the food is far below average, and basically not the food, it was the service. I would understand if it was a busy crowded night. But the amount of people in that restaurant did not justify getting cold steaks. -For a drink I had the Caipirinha which I also do NOT recommend getting from this place. It was very sour and by the time I got my food it had been watered down because of all the ice. I couldn't have my drink on an empty stomach. So my recommendation is, go to a different Noches de Colombia location or just don't go when you are starving. In hindsight we should have ordered an appetizer but the server said it would take just as long to get the appetizer as the entire so at that point there was no way to improve the situation. ***Will not be back to this location.*** read more

Great place for authentic Latin food. We liked everything we tried, particularly the margaritas and the passion fruit sangria. The shrimp with vegetables and garlic sauce, the grilled chicken with fried plantains, the sampler appetizer, the empanadas, and the liver were delicious. They also have a good happy hour and free parking. The servers are friendly and attentive. We went two nights in a row and I will definitely go back the next time I'm back in the area. read more

The food here was nothing to complain about. I would say a solid 3.5 stars if I could. It was a group of 6 so we all tasted and shared. My youngest had chicken tenders. DON'T order that. 100% tasteless. No flavor at all. But it's not their specialty so . My daughter ordered arroz con pollo... DELICIOUS! the best of all the meals. I had the fried tilapia which was pretty good. My husbands pork was unfortunately dry and lacked flavor... the drinks were fun and tasty. They also had a photographer who took and sold pictures. We accepted and got a very nice family picture. Wayy too pricey if you ask me but I fell for it. There was also a young boy singing traditional music which was a fun ambiance... but went around each take asking for tips. So 2 different money grabs happening during dinner: can't say I love that. I just want to eat! The service was good- attentive waitress who helped us decide on meals and there was no wait. I honestly would go back knowing what's good or bad read more

After a disappointing lunch a couple of weeks ago at a different restaurant, Colombian cuisine remained stable at this establishment located in Clifton. The menu at Noches de Colombia offered different varieties which I placed an order online for take out via Yelp. It was easy and fast which I got their classic paisita (mini version of their typical Colombian dish of steak, pork crackling, chorizo, eggs, rice & beans) and mini empanadas consisting of mini fried beef potato for sharing. It was bit confusing as prior to today's visit, the pick up was to the back of the restaurant using a different entrance, now one has to enter the restaurant via the main doors and walk towards the back. The food for most part was well seasoned, tasty and still warm. However, the arepa was dry, hard and not edible. The portions were reasonable and good for another meal with fair prices. My partner and I enjoyed the mini empanadas very much which brought me back to my childhood. We can recommend this place. read more

Food was meh.. not amazing. Chicharron was crispy and salty everything else was bland . Overprice . Water is bottle watered they charge . Food was bland. Waiter very shady . Had. Birthday for a little girl there and they put a cheap dollar tree hat on her and as we were leaving she passed me by and whispered to the hostess that my daughter is leaving with the hat . We thought it was complimentary but if it wasn't it's okay, she should have told us instead of whispering to the hostess to tell us . Super strange character. Not genuine . Food looks good but taste mediocre. Don't be fool by the pic because it looks good but taste mediocre . Service not so great kinda sneaky behavior read more

Food was great! And the service was amazing. My server Beatriz was amazing and super helpful and kind. Such a great place

I have been to a million noches because where I grew up there was one in every corner but this one is definitely one of my favorites and let me tell you why! It is one of the biggest Noches i have been thus far. A lot of space specially for big groups and there's a parking lot so you don't have to worry about looking for parking. The staff is very friendly. And the food is tasty. Noches de Colombia has amazing specials like a bomb happy hour. If you are trying to get cheap drinks make sure to go before 7 because they have their sangria, mojitos, margaritas for around 4-5 dollars!! They also have lunch specials Monday- Friday's before 5 o'clock so make sure you go get those $10 lunch specials. Colombian empanadas are a must with the pink sauce. And of course my favorite plate is the paisita. Can't never go wrong! read more

Welcome to flavor town! I've been coming to Noches de Colombia for years now and they never disappoint. From their appetizers to entrees everything is amazing! I highly recommend ordering their empanadas! Ask for a side of the green hot sauce and I promise you will be happy you did! Everything about these two things are the reason why I keep coming back here. I do love their chicken entrees! Fried or grilled both are seasoned and cooked perfectly. You have the option of ordering two sides with each entree so there is something for everyone, including fries! read more

If you're going to try to order delivery at this location make you are not hungry and you have 2 hours or so to sit and wait. We ordered at 6:40pm and received our food at 8:30pm by a mindless driver. I called to try to cancel at 7:40pm and nobody answered the phone. I tried canceling through grubhub and they told me the delivery was on the way out. Our food got to us cold. My bandeja paisa was essentially a cold steak with boiled eggs on top, no chicharron and sausage. ...... the tres leches was ok...... read more

Came here a few days ago for my aunt's birthday lunch. We were seated quickly and had a friendly waiter. Everybody seemed to thoroughly enjoy everything. The only (minor) complaint would be the mini empanadas. While good, they were borderline vegetarian. You had to go on an expedition to find the meat in there. I got a bandeja paisa and they had no problem swapping the chuck steak for skirt (at an additional cost of course.) The chicharron was crispy and HUGE! Of the few Noches de Colombia I've been to, this one is pretty high on the list. I would come back for sure if I'm in the area. Go check them out. ENJOY!!! read more

Three stars because I ordered a bad meal. Came On a Thursday evening around 5:30, to beat the dinner rush. We were promptly seated in the main room close to the bar. It was hard to hear the wait staff however the waitress we had was very friendly and kept checking if we needed refills on water. For an appetizer we ordered the mini empanadas to share that's probably the highlight of my entire experience. They were perfectly sized as a two bite appetizer. Outside was crispy perfection, inside warm and gooey. The empanadas came with a side of two sauces-served in plastic take out containers (little weird). I ordered the Mar y Tierra Salteado- it came basically soaking wet with sweet red sauce. The peppers had zero crunch as if they were sitting in the sauce for some time. The steak was chewy and the shrimp were lacking as I only found three in my dish. Husband ordered the bandjea paisa, he was pleased with everything. Huge portion of food! Going to give this place another shot and try something different, more to my liking. read more

Todo muy rico, el restaurante lindo, y Tatiana nos dio muy buen servicio. Muchas gracias!

Came at 530pm on a Friday night and hada nice size parking lot and quick service once I walked in to meet friends. Restaurant is pretty big....played live music around 8pm and it was hard to chat because it was a bit loud but the woman singing had nice vocals. Sooooo.... Got a passion fruit sangria which was delicious (more on the juicy side) and started with the guacamole. This was delicious....didn't come with chips but with tostones...I think that's what it's called. Then I got the garlic shrimp salad and added oil and vinegar. Avocado was nice and fresh along with the rest of the veggies on the plate. I was very happy with my order. The flan was very tasty...great consistency of the custard...not too sweet and it was great with cappuccino. So now...after being there for a few hours...we paid the check and suddenly the waitress told us "if we don't plan to order anymore food, we need to leave because we need to seat others". And mind you there were open tables available.,,yes it was busy but I thought it was very rude...they didn't even offer to have us go to the bar. So my rating dropped tremendously. We pay and then you kick us out????? I know it's busy but treat your customers with a lot more respect. read more

So, I've finally found my new Colombian spot in NJ, and I'm not disappointed at all. Noches is located inside a strip mall, with tons of parking. I've been here a couple of times and must say that the restaurant does get pretty packed during peak hours. The waitresses are really nice and friendly. Service does vary though: sometimes it's really quick but sometimes it can take forever. Word of advice, skip the appetizers. Most of the entrees are less than $16 and usually big enough to feed 2 people! I've never been able to finish the entrees and have always taken leftovers home. But if you must order an appetizer, try the chicharron (fried pork belly). Fried to perfection. Yes, it's a heart attack waiting to happen but you probably won't regret it (or maybe you will if you do suffer from heart disease!). As for the main entrees, I've ordered the Pechuga Empanizado (Breaded Chicken Breast), the Combinado (Strips of Steak and Chicken & Shrimp). Most of the entrees are served with rice and sweet plantains. But my favorite dish is the Bandeja Paisa (grilled steak, rice, beans, fried pork belly, plantains, egg & avocado). That's a whole lot of food! If you're in the North Jersey area and in the mood to eat Colombian food, this is the spot! read more

The Noches de Colombia in Clifton never fails me. It's conveniently located in a small shopping center. The parking lot is not huge but I've never had an issue with parking. There is also street parking nearby. I absolutely love their food and never have an issue with the service there. I went on a Saturday night and they had karaoke. My only complaint is that they typically have a mariachi band and it gets way too loud. They've also accommodated a group of 15 which went really well except 2 of the meals came out significantly later than everyone else's. We liked that they were able to split the bill by tables rather than one huge bill. I will continue going back to this location as the food is great and it's really close to home. read more

I can't go to North Jersey without stopping in for at least an empanada to go from Noches! But out of all the Noches restaurants this is my favorite one. They have excellent space for big groups and although the wait can get a little crazy for dinner on the wkend....if you get here early enough you will be ok. As pointed out by many others their biggest downfall is the slow service. They are usually pretty busy and with only a handful of waitresses, they're usually running around and it'll take a few times to get their attention. Try at least one of the below as an appetizer: 1. Empanada 2. Chicharron 3. Pan de bono Meals - under $15 and enough for 2 meals: 1. Pollo Salteado con arroz blanco y tostones (strips of chicken breast sauteed with peppers, onions & fries in a tomato sauce, white rice and fried green plantains) 2. Bistec encebollado con arroz blanco y maduros (steak with grilled onions and sweet plantains) 3. Mar y tierra y tostones (skirt steak with garlic shrimp, served in a sizzling pan with tomato & onions- my mouth is watering as I type this) 4. Paisita (the traditional Colombian plate, rice, steak, red beans, sweet plantains, avocado, corn biscuit, fried egg- yes all that for $9.50. 5. Calamares con papitas - Fried calamari, which you would think Colombians can't make, but are actually delish and for $7 a meal, you can't go wrong. Have some sangria to wash it all down and then pray that no one passes out into a coma on your dive home. read more

Came here with a friend for the first time after suggesting Colombian food to me. I am no where near an expert on Colombian but I had a very nice experience. We ordered some cheese bread (not found on the menu) with this great consistency that blends the cheese and the bread together without the cheese being too overpowering. We then shared an appetizer and meat platter mix. The appetizer had some chorizo, fried pork belly, empanadas, and fries while the meat platter (suggested by the waiter) had some well seasoned (and juicy) chicken, beef skirt, shrimp, and fried plantains. I decked a few stars because it took quite a bit of time to get the order in and for some reason the main dish came at the same time as the appetizer. Also, we asked for water and got good ol Poland Spring that we paid for. All in all, will come again but maybe order some good drinks (like those smoothies) and be more patient. read more
