If you are a fan of Peruvian food you have to come check them out! They have so many options to choose from and portions are HUGE! I have a big appetite and I had to take some of my dish home. I had a Piscopo sour which was veryyy strong and tallarin verdes with chicken. The pesto sauce was flavorful and plentiful, I dislike when places are cheap with their sauce, this place certainly wasn't. Thank you chefs! I really appreciated that the chicken was very well seasoned and complimented the pasta well. My friend got a chicken causa which was the perfect texture, smooth, a great size, and also flavorful. She also got the tallarin saltado de carne which she loved, I tasted the beef and it was a bit tough for me but the flavors were all great. Our waitress was very nice and did not make us feel rushed. Also loved the decor and traditional Peruvian music playing in the background. I will definitely be coming back soon to try other dishes! read more

Ordered Chaufa Chicken rice and Boiled Yuca with their onion salad. The rice was decent, but the yuca was dry, so I threw it out. The onion salad had barely any lime flavor. Yelp does not have the correct prices and I only ordered from this place because of the price, but wound up paying $3 more than what Yelp's price for the rice. The beef chauffa also good but was it to die for? No. The rice waa good, not too oily but i didn't like the beef chunks they were too big. I have been eating Peruvian food for over 35 years. What I experienced today at this restaurant had to be the most retchid, horrendous, disgusting, Peruvian food that I ever had. We ordered Jalea. For $25, we received a plate of yucca, breaded mussels out of the shell what??? (It was like they purchased a bag of Frozen mussels at the supermarket). It even gets worse, imitation breaded crab meat (yeah, believe that, lol). The waitress acted like this was normal, I have never in my 35 years ordered a plate of Jalea that had imitation crab meat. We ordered bistec a la pobre not bad, however it had zero flavor to it, and not the best cut of meat. Everything down to even the aji green sauce was horrible, and we paid $9 for a 1/2 pitcher of watered down chicha morada. Never again. Will I return to this restaurant, if I could give it a negative five stars I would. I think this is a serious insult to Peruvian cuisine, Our check totalled to $60 for a plates of garbage. This place should seriously be shut down. Or even go to Taco Bell, the food is much much better. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. There are so many amazing restaurants in Passaic and in Paterson that have much better authentic food. Save your money. I seriously believe that this food was not prepared by a Peruvian person. Ordered the yellow seafood rice (arroz con marisco) and a side of yucca frita for pick up. PHENOMENAL! My meal was absolutely fantastic! The yucca had a good crunch and came with this green hot sauce. I can't even describe how delicioso the rice was. It came overloaded with so much seafood goodness as you'll see from my picture: octopus, mussels, crab meat, shrimp. I'm drooling as I write this review because...ugh just try this place out. When you first walk in it's a very comfortable set up, kind of like "home", which is a perfect pairing with how welcoming the staff is. I came here off a recommendation from a friend who said it's one of the best Peruvian spots around the Clifton area. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing and the staff is friendly. I tried the lomo saltado and it's probably one of the best I've ever had. The steak,rice, onions, tomatoes and fries were seasoned perfectly. I came to this restaurant when it first opened up like about 7 yrs or so. I stopped coming when the food went downhill. I moved out of the area like 5 years ago and my brother has been raving about this place a few times now so i figured why not? Let's go I ordered an Ocopa for an appetizer. If you know Peruvian food then you know 9 out of 10 times when you order Ocopa its not gonna be as good as your mom, grandmother or aunt makes it so i took a chance since its been a long time since i've had it. The ocopa was waaay too light and the sauce was a bit sweet and not spicy at all. I added more "aji" as you can see by the pic but their aji is not spicy. The service sucked! Our food arrived in less than 10 mins once our appetizer came out. I shared the ocopa with my mom and we didn't even finish by the time 4 plates came out (me, bro and parents). There was literally no space left in the table. My mom was holding her plate up finishing the ocopa and i was feeling rushed eating as fast as i can so i can give the plate back to the waitress but she left fast. My dad was holding the empty plates in his hand for a couple of mins b4 the waitress came back. Mom ordered the tiradito de pescado which is thinly sliced pieces of fish with this aji lemon sauce. Mom said the sauce was good but the fish they used wasn't good. They used tilapia which according to my mom is the wrong fish for that dish. Bro ordered the lomo saltado and he enjoyed it My dad ordered the arroz con pato which he too enjoyed I ordered the pescado a lo macho. I didn't enjoy it. It was too salty. The mixed seafood didn't taste fresh. It tasted rubbery and the lightly fried fish was way too salty. The sauce was good but also a bit salty We ordered dessert. My bro and mom shared a Tres Leches which they said tasted good. My dad ordered a mazamora morada. It was extremely bland. It was like pure liquid and not sticky n thick how it should be. It had no cinnamon or prunes or pineapples. Nothing. Just purple unsweetened liquid. I ordered arroz con leche and it was terrible. It was too cold, didn't taste fresh and it wasn't sweet. Its almost as if they forgot to put condensed milk but at least it had cinnamon. My bro loves this place and i don't know why. I will never come back read more

It's the most wonderful and comfortable restaurant to eat at. The menu for everyday is delicious and fresh and the beverages are the freshest. Like Inca kola, mmmm maybe the best place to drink it. Ugh.. what a bad experience tonight at this place. I ordered a steak and changed the french fries for a salad, then the waitress came to tell me they ran out of steak. Then the substitute dish had so little meat!, and they switched the onions with french fries, and asked again to replace the fries with a salad again. There were three waitresses, one older lady and two younger girls who look like sisters, make sure to ask to be attended by one of the girls, the other lady has to get her shit together.
