    Steamed beef dumplings with sauce
    Matt B.

A small place with a small amount of seating both indoor and outdoor. The place is doesn't have the best decor, the inside looks similar to a renovated home turned restaurant. The service is friendly and timely. The food is a bit pricey but the steamed pork & beef dumplings I had were great. The sauce that came with it was a great add-on, it had a little bit of a kick which elevated the taste. This would be a decent place if you were craving some quick dumplings, steamed or fried.

Tried the Mongolian Beef lunch today. Pretty tasty, but was on the oily side, as was my hot & sour soup, which is not par for the course. Hopefully a rare occurrence. Still enjoyed my food and looking forward to dining again!

Pink in my chicken and no flavor! I was referred this place, figured give it a try, pricy for nothing! Had to stop eating and finish the chicken and flavor it up some, so my money didn't go to waste.

It's TAKEOUT Chinese food not an up scale sit down restaurant. 28$ for a regular platter with NO rice Or drink!!!!!!! For Lunch !!!! On top of that you would think the container would be packed to the lid. It's barely to the top of the container!!! Watch out!!! The food does taste good and is fresh. If they packed more food in or lowered the prices it would be worth it. But i would never order from here again !!!!

#ThankYouThursday to the workers at Chopstix Teaneck, for being there to serve me up some hot and tasty food on a cold, dark pandemicky night! I love to support local businesses, especially during a hard economic time like this. Chopstix is one of very few kosher Chinese/Asian restaurants on this side of the Hudson, and especially in this immediate area. I pass by here all the time, but have never eaten here before. Tonight I decided to change that. I called ahead for a pickup order. The man at the counter was really nice, and had my order ready to go when I arrived. Taste-wise, I wasn't sure what to expect from Chopstix. Traditional Chinese cuisine isn't exactly kosher, and there are times when the kosher version of a food can fall flat on the tastebuds of someone who is not used to eating kosher. I'm happy to say that Chopstix exceeded my expectations. The General Tso chicken was crispy and saucy (GREAT flavor!), although next time I will ask them to make it spicier. Even the little bit of broccoli garnish underneath it was cooked to perfection. The veggies in my vegetable dumplings were tasty and fresh. The wontons in my wonton soup had very little meat in them, but were still doughy and delicious in the hot chicken broth. Overall, my meal tasted authentic, but without all the grease and heaviness you get with the food from some non-kosher Chinese restaurants. Chopstix is a little pricier in comparison to other Chinese takeouts, and the portions are smaller, but the food served at Chopstix seems to be higher quality and made with care. Definitely coming back for more!

Tables of young men, looks like a yeshiva (Orthodox Jewish school) must be nearby. I order shawarma platter: shawarma, several salads, fries. Spouse orders a shawarma sandwich. Salads are spot-on: sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, chickpeas, Israeli salad, red cabbage salad, guacamole. Each lovingly and perfectly prepared. Chicken shawarma is flavorful, could have been moister but no complaints. Service friendly and efficient. Value typical for Kosher, $44 for our meals & drinks. Would definitely recommend and return

It was a sweltering night and they immediately brought over a huge pitcher of water which was most appreciated. Ample street parking. Go for the great food and service. The beef looking plate was just as good in its own way. The chicken drumsticks are A FAVORITE!! Wow those are so delicious and crispy. The tea is always a delight to drink with the meals. Can't remember the other two meals, but they were all good. My party split them all four ways to try everything and it was delightful. I don't feel icky after eating so much, and the portions are huge. Waiter was very patient with my grandmother who 1) doesn't speak english 2) is diabetic so we had to find something safe for her to eat. 110% recommend this place to anyone. It's vegetarian/vegan only, but honestly the food was better than meals I've had with meat. Food felt good to eat, i didn't feel sick or overly full and heavy from it all. I had in my mind a superior dining experience in Israel, a similar schnitzel-in-pita storefront in Hod HaSharon. There, because it's Israel, every aspect was superior: fresh, crispy, assortment of salads, and super fast. I was hoping for something similar here. Orange and chrome mid-century modern decor. Simple menu. Good service. Clean. Super impressed at first glance. I got schnitzel in pita, spouse got same in laffa bread, daughter got schawarma in laffa. All delicious and fresh. Service was friendly. It took a few minutes to get our order and they were not particularly busy, luckily we were not in a rush. Once the food came, it was worth the short wait! Bottom line: it's not Hod HaSharon, but pretty darn good for Teaneck! Would definitely return here! The only negative is that parking seems to be an issue. We visited this restaurant at 12 noon on a Sunday and it was impossible to park. I don't know where the people in all these cars were shopping, I sure didn't see a high amount of foot traffic. I have a feeling people just parked and left their cars, maybe attending an event elsewhere. So if you visit: plan time to park and walk!
