    That sweeeeeeeet Crispy Chicken
    Divine M.

Estihana is kosher Asian fusion/sushi bar in a fine dining atmosphere. Think smaller-scale PF Chang's, with Israeli music playing overhead as you dine. Crispy beef and crispy chicken are their most popular dishes. The food is delicious, although what I had was very sweet. Almost too sweet for me. Price-wise, Estihana is expensive, especially if you compare it to regular Chinese takeout. However, Kosher dining is expensive in general. If you keep kosher and are looking for a restaurant for a date, a nice night out with the family, or to celebrate a special occasion, Estihana is the place for you.

This place is beyond expensive even for kosher. $30 per entree for small portion of chicken and rice.

We have reservations for ten people for 6:30. We arrived on time and still have at least a 30 minute wait. This is awful.

While there isn't exactly an Argentine neighborhood in New Jersey, many great restaurants are…read morelocated in the northern part of the state. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.

Knowing that and taking some recommendations from those who ate here previously, the majority of us chose Paella as our entrée. We started out with appetizers. For the table, we ordered two " Mixed hot appetizers for 4. " This was quite good. The appetizer included a spicy sausage, calamari, shrimp, and sauce. All three were fabulous, especially the calamari. Maybe one of the best I ever had. Super fresh. The sauce was for dipping the calamari. It was very good. For my main entrée, I ordered the paella Venetian. As a kicker, I included lobster. You certainly get a ton of food, more than you would probably finish. The paella included clams, paella of course, and tomato. The lobster was very disappointing. I would recommend not ordering it snd pay that extra price for something that's not very large, but more importantly, not at all good tasting. The group overall enjoyed their meals. The prevailing comment was food was good but not great.

Martinis were good and they have blue cheese stuffed olives too. The staff was great, attentive but never rushed us. The Steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered and very tender. The only item I didn't care for were the stuffed zucchini flowers. They had waaay too much batter. Each steak is served with a few onion rings on the plate- the batter on some of my onion rings weren't cooked through. Side of Brussel sprouts and baked potatoes were good too, nothing special. Dessert- we had the affogato served with fig gelato, this was delicious. The gelato was full of figs. I highly recommend this is you are a fig lover. Overall, a great meal, priced on the high end as most steak houses are, but well worth it. The place was not busy at 6 but when we left at 8 it was full. Strongly recommend reservations or arrive early and hope to snag a seat at the bar for a meal.
