Lunch special. Alaska roll and shrimp tempura roll.

I treat myself to lunch once a week and I've been wanting to try this place since they opened about a year ago. I definitely see why they have so many positive reviews. Everything was delicious and so fresh. I got an Alaskan roll (salmon, avocado and cucumber) and a shrimp tempura roll (shrimp tempura, kani, avocado and cucumber). Monday through Friday they have lunch specials that's $9.50 for 2 rolls or $12.50 for 3 rolls. Everything else is very fairly priced as well. Definitely check them out if you're in the Teaneck area. I can't wait to order again!

    Crabmeat Salad Roll

I have been wanting to try this place since they opened. Their photos look really amazing so we thought we would try it out. Overall, it was okay. The sizes are quite generous. We got kani salads, honey roll, and crabmeat salad roll (4 items- total $50) The kani salad was much bigger than I expected. It was a legit salad, not like the small crab/kani and cucumber covered in sauce you would normally get. It sat on a large bed of argula and some kind of shredded red stuff- maybe beats? Idk. It also came with avocado and mango chunks. It was a nice looking salad- just not what I was expecting. The rolls were large- but just alright in flavor. The rice wasn't mushy or hard, it felt like the right texture. With all the flavors it came with, I thought I would like them much more. The crabmeat inside the roll kinda just tasted like canned tuna. It was too fishy tasting for my liking. The texture of the kani was rather hard. I did not enjoy the texture of the kani in any of the dishes that we ordered. The honey roll was also just alright. The veggies all seemed fresh so that's good. Lastly, the soy sauce seemed watered down.. Maybe in the future I will try some of the basic rolls instead of the ones with a lot going on. The man inside seemed friendly. The place seemed clean and well maintained too.

Found this little gem in teaneck, my favorite new sushi spot, service was incredibly great and the food was even more amazing, 5/5.

We were lucky enough to stop by and try several different rolls (and some off-menu items too!) and it was truly some of the best sushi we've ever had! This family-owned business is literally a "mom & pop" shop where Mom is the chef and Dad is the sushi man, bringing over 40 years of experience to the table! Nabi translates to Butterfly - an appropriate name for a place that creates such beautiful dishes Give them a follow and stop by the hottest new sushi spot (dine-in, takeout, or catering) before the secret gets out! Had an amazing meal here! The staff was super friendly and accommodating and made some great recommendations! The sushi was presented beautifully and was super fresh. We tried the Grand Canyon Roll, Crabmeat Salad Roll, Teaneck Roll & Dragon Roll! I loved the Crabmeat Salad Roll, it was sooo good! The Beef Bulgogi box was also delicious and the bacon fried rice that came with it was amazing! I will definitely be back soon!

Solid spot. if your getting sushi in teaneck, this is it.

Well, today was the day. And I was not disappointed. It is a very small location, jampacked with a sensory overload of the amazing food that's being cooked there. Not sure what I should order, I decided to go with the classic: AUSTIN CHO 1.0 (BEST SELLER!) which is simply Beef Brisket, BBQ Sauce, Kimchi, Remoulade on Roll that was accompanied by Kimchi Slaw. I asked @robertaustincho what I should order the next time I visit, and he highly suggested the pork belly and rice. He was going back and forth to so many tables and still having convos with everyone. Shout out to JoJo! You can do hot pot, kbbq, or both. It's also byob, so that's great. They provide the same cups as all the other drinks. Limited slushies from their machine. However, my favorite section of this place is their banchan and other hot foods selection. There's marinated wings, japchae, kimbap, stews, stirfry, tteokbokki, etc. For dessert, there's soft serve and bingsu! FYI, they don't have those large vents usually above the tables during kbbq, so make sure you're not going anywhere afterwards that minds you smelling like bbq. Located in a shopping area, so plenty of parking! Definitely will be visiting again!

Neither of us tried the Moon yet so we decided to check it out. I was able to easily make a reservation via Yelp for 6 people for 12:30 (4 adults + 2 toddlers). For the most part, we already knew what we wanted to order, so we placed an order for the BBQ items and hot pot meats first. Only the meats are the items you need to order. Everything else, you grab at the buffet - including seafood, fish balls, veggies, and noodles. The BBQ items are just okay, but that tends to be the case with you have hot pot + BBQ. The hot pot beef was good but the lamb was super gamey, which turned my broth into a gamey lamb flavor, making everything else I cooked in there have a trace of that too. Bottom line - skip the lamb. As for the buffet, they have a lot of options. Aside from the typical hot pot items, they also have some Korean dishes like kimbap, japchae, kimchi, as well as some fried items. I don't think I liked the Moon enough for a return trip. It's also slightly pricier than other hot pot + KBBQ spots, so I think I'll check out some of the other ones next time.
