This was delicious! I'm always hesitant to try a different sushi spot but happy I came here. It was quiet when I came around 6:30pm. A small quaint environment. I started with Lychee Rose Tea and Shrimp Shumai. The sauce with the Shumai was sweet and tangy. Perfect dipping sauce. The rolls were Super Fire Roll (my favorite), Galaxy Roll and Venus Roll. The Super Fire Roll was great. The jalapeño added a great punch and wasn't spicy or overpowering. The Galaxy and Venus were very similar. We knew we wanted the Galaxy but didn't know what the third roll should be. The waitress suggested Venus b/c it was popular. The were both good but definitely don't need them both with the same order. I enjoyed the Galaxy roll more, to my surprise b/c I'm not big on Salmon but it was actually very good. Don't be fooled by the humble storefront and cozy interior. Roll House Dragon has quickly become one of my favorite local spots since moving to the area, and I would argue its 'smallness' is precisely what adds to its charm. Service is incredibly warm and any needs that arose throughout our meal were quickly met (if not anticipated). We ordered a variety of dishes that I didn't even have the chance to photograph before my husband and I hungrily descended upon the plate. We tried two of their specialty rolls, both of which were fresh and incredibly tasty. I dare you to take a look at their menu online without salivating on your keyboard. If you're not a sushi fan, there's still something for you here. We ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl that would give Sarkus a run for their money. The pieces of chicken were flavorful and tender, with surprisingly robust accompaniments of a fried egg, avocado, and two fried gyozas. It's actually become one of my favorite and most crave-worthy items on the menu. The ramen fell a little flatter for us since it didn't seem terribly different from the instant Korean ramens we might make for ourselves at home. Yelp led me here one night and I wish I could go back in time.... This establishment has many high reviews, but I wouldn't say this is a place that stands out as one of the best around. Not that their sushi was bad, is just wasn't worth a next visit. First- Their rolls aren't sized properly for their sticker price. The Spider Roll (one of my ultimate favorites) is not worth the money. It was tiny and tasted generic. You would normally see some crab legs sticking out of the roll as a nice presentation, but no, not here. Second- Overall their sushi rolls and even the Miso soup was small sized. You would think they would offer something worthwhile being a hole-in-the-wall spot to suite the price tag, but nahh. Last, but NOT least- This is the key highlight to pay attention to... I got the Shrimp Tempura appetizer and they gave me a non-fresh boxed version. How do I know?!?! I have seen this tempura in Costco... yup, the Shrimp Tempura that they use is fake. The portion size was a lot bigger than I anticipated but I was hungry so I was able to finish the whole thing. Our double date partners got a couple rolls which looked quite good as well. I ordered delivery from here and loved it! I got the make your own rice bowl, bubble tea, and deep fried dumplings. The price is average for this cuisine in the area, but higher than other types of cuisine. It was about $25 (before delivery, tip, and tax) and $34 after everything. The veggies in the bowl were SO FRESH! I couldn't believe how quickly I got through it. The tofu was seasoned well but a little dry. I wish they had shrimp or tuna as an option for protein in the rice bowls - that would have made it perfect. The only real critique I would give is that the bubble tea was frozen, which made getting the balls at the bottom difficult. I would definitely go here again if I was in the area. read more

I'm updating my review to say that 1) Roll House Dragon doesn't do wings anymore (too bad, because they were SO GOOD) and 2) I'm not mad at them anymore for taking wings off the menu, because their sushi is terrific! Work paid for my lunch, so I let my stomach do the ordering. Everything arrived well-packaged and appealing. The flavors and textures were on point, the spicy stuff was spicy, the crunchy stuff was crunchy, and all of it was fresh. Roll House is mostly take-out/delivery, especially during COVID times, but the restaurant is pretty small, so I'm not sure if dine-in is even an option. Parking is a pain around here too.
