They take about 20min for an order so call ahead (and make sure you call the right spot, one guy came in and realized he called the wrong shop). Half and full boxes (half is 10wings). Multiple flavors. You can get wings, boneless thighs (cooks faster) or mixed (big cuts of whole chicken). I had the soy garlic which was heavy on the fresh garlic chunks, that pungent and sharp flavor. The sauce was rather runeven though. Had two drums which had nearly no sauce. Hot, juicy and crispy overall though. At the bag bottom they had the white diakon pickles. Needs more napkins though! Which not as balanced of a sauce as another place, still a pretty solid snack. Do go to Daegu! If you love korean fried chicken as I do, Daegu is a must try. Daegu, the 4th largest city of South Korea, is also known as the "Chicken Mekka" of the world. This is the 2nd location of Daegu chicken and located in the food hall of H-mart. The food hall provides dining tables to share by all the eateries and shoppers. Plenty of parking available. I ordered the soy garlic wings and the jalapeño poppers. My order came out piping hot and fresh. The wings were super plump and flavorful. The skin was crispy and flavorful. A piece of skin was hanging off the wing and that fried chicken skin was oh so good! They should start selling korean fried chicken skin. The jalapeño poppers oozed with cream sitting in a crisp jalapeño boat. Everything was made to order with a 15 minute wait. The wait was not bad because there was plenty of dessert browsing to do in the food hall. They couldn't break a large bill so I had to scramble looking for change. They did not have any napkins in stock but did try very hard to find some for me. For a 1/2 order, 10 wings, you could only choose 1 sauce flavor. Out of 10 wings, 7 were round and 3 were flat. Pickled radish served as a nice palate cleanser between each piece. Dined in on a slow night and therefore seating was readily available. At fifteen dollars, this is comparable to the other popular Korean fried chicken joints and felt the value for the portion was fair. This Korean fried chicken spot is tucked into the corner of the Little Ferry H-Mart. It is a great spot to get some yummy-tasting fried chicken with various flavors and different snacks. You start by choosing which part of the chicken you would like either wings, mixed, or boneless thighs. You pick how big of a size you want either full box, half box, or party platter. The half box is a pretty good serving for one person and full box for two. After that, you choose your sauces with 6 different to pick from. If I recall correctly you can pick up to two different sauces for an order. I have tried the sweet and spicy, soy garlic, garlic, and red dragon. They are all good in their own way. Sweet and spicy and soy garlic are your classic flavors and they do a great job. Their shining star for me is the red dragon. It is a nice hot and sweet flavor with rice cakes to mix up the texture. I pretty much only get red dragon whenever I go here now because it is just that good! I also have to highly recommend the waffle fries if you want a sweet and salty experience. It features waffle fries with powdered sugar and honey drizzled on top. You dip it into a nice sweet mustard for some great and interesting flavors! This restaurant is now located in the Hmart food court. The food was amazing, the batter was light, fluffy, and crunchy. It hit all the notes. This was one of those situations where the food tasted the way you hoped it would when you saw that the food looked good. Our experience matches exactly what the other poor Yelp reviews have said in that this restaurant is boxing up and selling what are, essentially, battered and deep fried chicken bones. The only way that I can describe it is that it's some sort of cost cutting, cash grab where a "piece" of chicken is actually 90% bone with a tiny piece of dried out white meat attached to it. The best part is that they even try to market it as an order of "mixed chicken" which, to me, feels like it's bordering on fraud. To order is simple: you pick what kind of chicken you want (wings, boneless thigh, or whole chicken), how many you wan (full order or 1/2 order) and sauce.. wait around for 15 minute or so, and you will have your fresh delicious fried chicken... I personally love the soy favor... it's a little sweet and not salty, very flavorful!!! came here the other day & i was pleasantly surprised. i got the soy garlic but i also wanted to try the sweet&spicy sauce so they gave me the sauce on the side to try (best decision ever!). the sweet&spicy is honestly my favorite and it reminds me of the wings i had in korea - could not stop eating it despite my body saying it was full hahaha. they give a side of radish which is nice and refreshing (pairs nice with the crispy chicken). only thing is, when you order in person, you have to wait 15-25 minutes since they make the chicken fresh. definitely 10 wings was filling enough for me, and for $15 it's a steal! definitely recommend read more

I was excited to try another Korean fried chix as we always are ordering from BonChon. I placed my order of boneless thighs and wings 16 piece for $24 with tax. Took 20mins to prepare. When I picked up my bag, I had one small pickled radish and about 4 napkins with 2 forks wrapped in a rubber band. I had to ask for more napkins. Got home to find out I received something that was like a whole chicken cut up and prepared. I never ordered chicken breast, I got lots of pieces that were dried out breast meat. The 2 wings were tiny and none of the thighs were boneless. I can't even say the ginger soy glaze was ok, a little on the salty side. The crispness was decent and that's about it. I wish we had a bit more radish for a big box of chicken but but the end of the world. I know I won't be back here to order again. For consistency, taste and size of pieces, I'll def be back to BonChon. read more

The meal was great, chicken 10 wing box was tasty and the fries were okay, obviously frozen fries that were fried. What made this a 1 star was the fact that the cashier/cook took my order, finished my order and left it out front without saying a word. I stood in front to ask about my order (most Korean fried chicken places take 20-30 min per order) but he ignored me to take care of other Korean patrons not once but twice. He could've just given me my order but i stood there like an idiot for 10 minutes while my food got cold 5 feet away from me. I looked over towards the done order and noticed mine was there.
