I walked in looking to see if they had a lunch special. They do not, unfortunately. But they do have a 2 or 3 roll special. I went with that. I got a vegetarian roll and an AAC roll (avacodo, asparagus and cucumber). The vegetarian one was supposed to have a raddish in it but I didn't see or taste a difference. I also saw the Boba tea flyer and decided to get that too. I got the Taro one per the recommendation of the staff. I was glad I tried it since it was nice sweet and refreshing. They play some chill jazz music and serve your sushi on a cool wooden platform. They also threw in a small miss soup. Wish they had more variety for the vegetarian options and should consider adding a lunch special. read more

GEM ALERT! I have been here several times but this may have been the best one yet (all were good experiences to be clear). I ordered the Fire Cracker Roll and the Cani Crunch Roll which are part of the two roll lunch special. It came with miso soup. I got fried veggie dumplings and edemame on the house. Both were very good and a kind gesture. My rolls came out on a cute wooden boat. A+ on presentation. The server was a very nice lady who was attentive. She checked on me to make sure everything was going well. It was. Lastly, I ordered the ginger tea which was very good. If you are in the area and like fresh sushi, stop in. They also threw in a miso soup, fried vegetable gyoza, and lollipop on the house, which I really really appreciated. Unfortunately, the sushi was below average. I really wanted to like it based on the stellar reviews and because they were so kind...... But it truly left much to be desired. I ordered the 3 regular roll combo (~$18): Crab Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, and Eel Avocado Roll. *There was way too much rice on the rolls. *The rice was so soggy and mushy. Not sure if it's because it was undercooked or because they used too much vinegar... *Rice was too sour and tangy. *Fish was not that fresh or flavorful. *They used very little portions of eel and salmon... there was too much avocado and cucumber. *There was too much of the spicy sauce on the crab and salmon rolls. The worst sushi I have ever had. We ordered 6 rolls they were all a disaster. $200 worthless food. It was a hot mushi mess, tasteless and now fresh at all. The chicken teriyaki tasted like boil chicken with soil sauce, no flavor. We mentioned to the waitress the food was not good and she said too bad. The sushi was nothing like the pictures. Came across this place while I was ordering DoorDash. I was in the mood for a special type of roll and looking through the pictures I went with the Rising Sun roll and they also ordered buy one, get one on the fried vegetable Gyoza so I also went with that. The Gyoza were packed perfectly and arrived very hot and crispy which is something you don't see very often. The roll, while it was really good, paled in comparison to the photo online and did not even have any avocado inside or outside. They also sent a small container of what I believe is miso soup for free however I don't eat that so it was a waste. Prices were reasonable for what I got. I would go back again. read more

Awesome! Rolls! I went to Kame Sushi yesterday with a few friends and had an amazing experience! All the rolls were absolutely delicious! Two thumbs up - flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt both relaxed and refined. I enjoyed it so much that I'm already planning to come back with my family, including my kids. 8/6/24 Wanted Sushi and had just saw this the other day when we went to the bagel shop next door. Cute little space with about 6-7 tables. We got 3 special rolls: Double Salmon - can never go wrong with salmon :) Sushi Cafe Roll - Eel, Crab, Avocado, Cucumber topped with Salmon and teriyaki sauce - on so good Amazing Scallop Roll - Shrimp Tempura, Crab, Avocado, Cucumber, topped with buttered garlic scallops - OMG must have! So good Bowl of miso soup was very salty and didn't have much seaweed or tofu, will skip next time. Honey Ginger Tea was yummy, something i will get again especially if it's cold outside. Nice little place! In this unassuming little sushi place, you'll find delicious sushi and such friendly service! I loved my experience here. The waitress was so kind and attentive and the sushi tasted fresh and yummy! The portions were big too and well worth the prices. The bubble tea was okay, it's actually a bubble tea slushy which I didn't realize. All-in-all, I definitely will return. Super nice waitress. I ordered the salmon avocado roll and tuna avocado, both were excellent . My wife reported that she really enjoyed the whitetail, spicy tuna, and salmon avocado rolls. The sushi chef was super friendly as well and did a beautiful job. The boat on a lunch special did make us feel special. I'm not sure why, and I'm wary of reporting things like this, because it might not ever happen to anyone else. But the waitress gave us on the house miso soups, edamame, and gyoza. And when she brought the check she brought an on the house probiotic drink and a lollipop. Really generous and kind people. Probably the nicest people I've come across in a very long time. One of the best no fuss sushi restaurants I've been to. There is calm jazz music playing and it's quite roomy on the inside of the restaurant. The restaurant was empty when we came so service was extremely quick. We ordered a salmon lover and the special roll lunch combo. Everything was delicious! They also gave us some items on the house like an extra miso soup and some gyoza and a yogurt drink. We were also amazed at the fairly low prices of everything. Ordered via UberEats on a Friday afternoon. We ordered the kani salad, the 2 special roll combo and the 3 roll regular combo. The kani salad could have used more cucumber. I like having that crunch in there, so it's not like I'm just eating imitation crab with spicy Mayo. It comes topped with tempura flakes, roe, and some avocado, which was a nice touch. For the special rolls, the combo has a specific list you can select from. We had the Essex Roll (in: spicy salmon, cucumber, tempura; top: yellowtail, avocado, scallion, spicy sauce), and the Spider Roll ($+2, in: fried whole soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado; top: caviar, teriyaki sauce). I didn't care for the Essex Roll. There were some pieces of yellowtail that tasted a bit fishy, and there was way much sauce on top, but I guess that makes sense now. The spider roll was my favorite. They did this one right. The crab was perfectly crispy and there was actual meat in the soft shell crabs, as opposed to a lot of other sushi places where it's mostly shell. For the regular rolls, we had salmon cucumber, tuna avocado, and a yellowtail roll. This yellowtail didn't have the same fishiness from the special roll. Overall, there were your basic sushi rolls. They had a little too much rice. I also thought that since the combos were listed under the lunch special selection, we would get a miso soup or salad, but it didn't come with either. There are better sushi spots nearby, so I don't see myself ordering from here again. read more

Tried this restaurant today for the first time since it changed ownership. I was not disappointed. The sushi was very tasty and very fresh. The Deep Sea Roll was delicious. The scorched shrimp on top was very good and the smoky taste of the smoked salmon was recognizable. The Ninja Roll was also delicious. The mayo mix sauce had the right amount of tang and it wasn't overwhelming. I wanted the Flying Dragon Roll but don't like eel, which is what it is topped with. They very kindly offered to substitute whatever like and I chose crab. The roll was delicious. While spicy, as it is supposed to be, it was not crazy hot and spicy. They sent along complimentary miso soup which was also very good and hit the spot on this chilly day. I will definitely come here again. read more

Had the most horrible dining experience that I've had in quite a while eating at KaMe... The rolls were quite expensive... so I ordered one Flying Dragon roll 19.00. The waterless looked at me like "Really... only one."Me So, I ordered another one.. Tango De Mango also 19.00. (But I'm not complaining about the price) complimentary soup came with the meal edamame as well. The waitress shoved the soup and the edamame in my face also before I got done with the edamame she took it away... the food came. And I couldn't eat all of it. She took the food wrapped it up and I get the messa shmidt back (see picture) it's supposed to be sushi... the food is unrecognizable..then she shoves the bill in my face and rushed me to sign a 25% tip...
