We have been meaning to go here for so long. Finally went with my older son who is a huge ramen fan. Service was really phenomenal. We ordered way too much but everything was awesome. My absolute favorite was the Kimchi Fries. The ugly ramen was also great.
Don't be afraid to get your KINYOBI now! Easy, delicious Korean food with a twist that has remained consistent in flavor and presentation. My husband and I started ordering from here several years ago and it's become one of our favorite take-out spots in all of NJ. The Korean Chicken Wings in KINYOBI Hot Sauce are amazingly crispy and tender. They have a nice sweet spice that doesn't blow out your pallet. I could eat those wings every day and never get sick of them - they're that good. We usually go back and forth between the K-town Ramen and the Ugly Ramen which are equally delicious. The K-town broth is rich in flavor and spice & the noodles have great texture/taste. They are quick and efficient, always providing great service in a casual atmosphere. A 5-star experience every time.
Came after work on a Tuesday and the restaurant itself was empty, which was perfect for us to dine in. There were quite a few takeout orders and there seemed to be a relatively steady stream of people coming in to pickup their orders (always a promising sign). I had the kimchi fries and the K town Ramen, which were both delicious! The fries were perfectly crispy and the pulled pork and Kim chi and bbq sauce/sour cream/cheese made for a very tasty combination. The Kim chi seemed like it was roasted/sautéed down, so I wished more of the tangy/spicy kimchi flavors were still apparent, but it was still a great dish regardless. The ramen was also very flavorful, noodles had great texture, and it was the perfect amount of spice. A friend tried their chicken wings and the Ugly Ramen and said they were both yummy too.
My partner in crime and I stumbled upon Kinyobi after a long day of errands. I will mention that it was hard to find parking. We ate inside the restaurant. The restaurant itself is small but comfortable and clean. The order taker was kind and pleasant, gave us an ample amount of napkins, and checked how we liked everything. We ordered crispy chicken, bulgolgi, and ugly ramen. My partner liked the food more than I did. I enjoyed the crispy chicken and ramen but found the bulgolgi to be abit chewy. I would come back to give Kinyobi another try. Their menu is interesting and one of a kind.
I was driving down Kinderkamack heading towards Hackensack. I was hungry. I needed a snack. Korean fried chicken? That'd be whack. OK all rhyming aside, this place was highly rated on yelp close to my family house in Dumont so I rolled the dice. The wings were amazing. Service was fast super friendly. Chicken was hot, crispy, delicious. I had some kimchi on the side. I scarfed down the wings in about 10 minutes . Next time I find myself in Bergen County I would not hesitate to get more wings from this great mom and pop joint.
UGLY Ramen. That's the good kind of ugly. It was a unique taste, not so much protein but it's saucy. Personally it's my favorite and is my go to. I ordered a bowl for myself and insisted I couldn't finish and can share with my friend while he tries something else on the menu. He took a few bites, looked at me, and said next time I'm ordering my own! 5/5 The kimchi fries were a 3/5. I had better in ktown and in westwood. I'd say it's missing more kimchi. The fries and cheese felt separate rather than a melting pot of cheese potato goodness. The sliders were very good. They were generous with the pork. 4/5 Will be back and try new items! There's a private parking lot (4-5 cars only) in the back but you can also park on the street.
Decor/Food Packaging: This time I ordered for pickup so I was able to get a photo of the interior. Kinyobi is taking their covid measures seriously, so that's good. They have plexi glass up and they only allow 1 customer into the store at a time. Hand sanitizer is available by the card reader so you can sanitize after you pay. And their packaging is great! For some reason, I just love that they tie your bag with a tiny string ribbon. Food: On this visit, I ordered 2 K-Town Ramen and 1 burrito w/fries. My order was missing the rice cakes, but the 2nd order had them so I was able to try the full experience. At first I thought the poached egg was missing, but later realized it's below the ramen noodles. The broth was delicious. Overall, the food was very flavorful :)
The food portions and taste are decent, but the price does not feel worth it. I got the soba special and my friend got the bibimbap. They were just, OK. There are no Banchan provided. It seemed like there's no bathroom but I can't confirm. The staff are friendly and seem to know their regulars well. There's a slight discount for using cash instead of card as you can find in most places in Hackensack. You order at the front and there isn't necessarily someone to wait on you. It's a cozy place and I could see this being someone's go to in the area, but driving out a little bit more from the area and there's better Korean dishes for the price.

We had their Galbi Taco and Spicy Pork plate. The food was overall delicious and flavorful with reasonable prices. We loved their fusion cuisine. The taco was appetizing and greatly matched with Korean style steak. The spicy pork was too hot for me but great with rice.
After a long day of shopping with my back and legs achy, last thing I need was to make my way home to have dinner. Pulled out the yelp and looked . Found this nice little place and ordered the same order as the first review I saw and was not disappointed. In fact the kimchi fries amazingly hit all the flavor profiles all at once while doing what fried normally do which is give you that satisfaction.
I wish I lived closer to this place! The food here is absolutely amazing!! I live probably an hour away but wanted to go to IKEA for some shopping, after shopping my sister and I were starving so we looked up somewhere to go. I am so happy this was the place we picked to try. NJ still has no seating inside so we got our orders to go, aka to eat in the car so we tried to get things car eating friendly. We started with the kimchi fries. My sister and I both agreed that Kinyobi gave us the best fries we might have ever had. Crispy, warm, insides still soft. So freaking good. On top of the fries just being amazing the topping were also great. Pulled pork was cooked very well, super tasty! We asked for sour cream but to add spicy mayo instead. The spicy may just took this to a whole new level. Would 100% recommend. We also both ordered Bibimbap. I got the spicy chicken version and she got the bulgogi. She had really good things to say about the bulgogi. I was obsessed with the spicy chicken. Not crazy spicy but definitely had a kick. With all the toppings, so many different prepared veggies, every bite tasted different and everything was good. I loved how these both came with a miso soup on the side, just a little extra but to a great meal. Can't wait for the next time I have to hit up a store near by, will definitely be coming back.

This review is all about the kale and spinach dumplings. To be clear the people in my party are meat eaters. We generally prefer meat dumplings to veggie ones. But all three of us agreed that these kale and spinach dumplings are fantastic, and we preferred them to the beef dumplings - which were themselves very, very good. The veggie were just THAT good! So if you are adventurous, try these for a change. You won't be disappointed. read more

I stopped in for lunch because I was in the mood for ramen. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. There was a sign that said takeout only so I ordered with a nice lady. I ordered the ugly ramen with no chicken. It took about 10 minutes or so. It came to about $15 with a bottle of water. When I got to the car I ate and it was very different. I am used to ramen with broth and this one didn't have any and it had chipotle mayo. It was good, definitely different but good. I would definitely come back and try one of their broth ramen meals to give that a taste. read more

I have always wanted to stop by this place since I love Korean comfort food. I finally made time today to stop by with my husband and couldn't be more glad that I did. The eating area is small but the vibe is great. They have a cute neon sign with their name and the menu is written on a chalkboard at the front for easy takeout. Also their playlist is a good volume, dancey, good vibes, overall amazing for a good casual meetup. There was only one lady running the restaurant when we came in on a Tuesday at 5 and she was so kind and super fast with our order. We ordered the ugly ramen, michin dumplings, and galbi tacos. The servings for dinner are huge and we'll worth the price for all the dishes we ordered. They did not skimp out on the protein too. My husband and I were expecting tapas kind of portions and were surprised with how big the bowls and tacos were. My favorite dish was probably the michin dumplings since it felt light and had a good spicy kick, but my husband liked the galbi tacos because it was savory, sweet, juicy, and had some crunch from the veggies. Overall we will definitely be back for either takeout or eat in on our next cheat day. read more
The staff here is really friendly and talks to the customers unlike most restaurants. It is a very small restaurant with limited seating but the food looks good. Fried Dumplings: This was really tasty and was better than I had expected. Chicken Wings: They give you a finger glove to hold your chicken so you don't get your fingers dirty. This was actually pretty good as well. Korean Soup Dumpling: This was a bit disappointing because I thought it was going to come with a bit of ramen. Ugly Ramen: This was very flavorful and was the better choice to get than the soup dumplings. Overall: This place is not that bad just the distance from where we live is a bit far. The food is pretty good and hopefully my daughter and I can come back one day to give the other menu items a try. read more

Stumbled upon this cute little place while on a hunt to fulfill my bulgogi craving. We were greeted by the sweetest server. While were deciding what to eat, a few customers dropped in to place pick up orders and we can tell they're frequent visitors. She knew about vacation plans and asked about some how of the customers family members were doing. The customer service here is unbeatable. We ordered the beef dumplings, bulgogi rice platter, and the bulgogi burrito. The dumplings weren't greasy at all, even though they were hot out of the fryer. The bulgogi rice platter was extremely flavorful and came with a small side of kimchi and miso soup. There were definitely more vegetables than meat, which were cut very small and mixed into the vegetables, but that didn't bother me much since I was getting full off the dumplings. My fiancé had the burrito, which came with a spicy sauce that he said was addicting. Both came with this purple rice side, which didn't have any distinct flavor other than rice. Figured the purple color would've been from purple yam or something, but it tasted like regular rice. read more

Was staying in on a chilly day and wanted to get some takeout. I was in the mood for Korean and looked up what's in my delivery area. Came across Kinyobi and saw a bunch of good reviews. So I decided to give this place a try. Before I even tasted the food I was impressed. The food was well packaged and they used eco-friendly containers which is a plus in my book. Now for the food, I was very satisfied with all the dishes I got. I ordered the wings (w/ sweet tare sauce), Korean pancakes (vegetables), spicy chicken-bap, fried dumplings, and spicy pork tacos w/ fries. I look forward to ordering from them again and trying some of the other dishes. read more

I would give this place 10 stars. We went to Hackensack brewery and ordered dinner from Kinyobi. You can order online but it's pick up only -- a short walk away. We love their wings and Ugly Ramen. Sooooo good. I dived right into my bowl before I could take any pictures. Everything was delish! I will try something different next time. Try it! You won't be disappointed! read more

I went to Kinyobi for dinner and got the Beef Bap. It was tasty and had a bunch of vegetables to go with the beef bulgogi and rice. Still, I would've liked to have a bit more beef and a little less rice, which was a significant amount of the bowl. For $9, this was a pretty good deal. I also got the fried dumplings, which were good, but nothing that special. The service speed was decent and our waitress was friendly. We were the only ones seated in the restaurant, though a couple of people came to pick up food. The interior is decorated pretty nicely and looks clean. Overall, Kinyobi has good Korean food and service. If you are looking for Korean food in the Hackensack area, I would recommend it. read more
I've been here a couple more times for take out and the food is consistently good. Spice level is just what you request so no surprises. Love the k-town ramen so I ordered it again today for take-out. I decided to also try the"ugly ramen" that I see everyone raving about in the reviews and it was very good. Very flavorful stir-fried ramen with a good amount of chicken and some vegetables in it. Price seems steep at $12 until you see that there is actually enough for 2 or possibly 3 servings. The portion is really generous. My daughter and I shared it and still had plenty left over for later. Service was pleasant and my order was ready for pick up when I arrived within the suggested 15 minutes. I'm sure I'll return to try other items soon and I'll definitely be back for the K-town ramen. read more

Grabbed a light dinner here with my good friend, Harry P. on a Monday. It's a small shop, Korean food isn't common in the area. The lady running the place was nice, and it was warmly decorated. We got the menu and she took our order. There weren't ANY Koreans eating there at the time, and the 3 other tables were talking about how awesome their first experience with Korean food was. Unfortunately, I've had Korean food more times than I can remember, so this place was pretty average. I got the kimchi fries. Harry got a bibimbap bowl. It's pretty expensive for what ya get. The pork was dried out on my kimchi fries, and there wasn't much of it. Harry's bowl had like no meat. Flavors were average, but i did like their jalapeno sauce that i got on the side. It's nice that there's a Korean place in the area now, but you can get way more bang for your buck at a Korean place in Pal Park. read more

Small storefront but it's really good! Friendly service and flavorful food. I ordered the kimichi fries as an appetizer and it was delicious. Even though the fries are smothered in cheese, pulled pork, and kimichi the fries remained crispy and salty. It really hit the spot, I probably looked like a fool pulling the cheese away to shovel it into my mouth. My entree was the spicy chicken nap and although it looked like a small portion, it was very filling and packed with flavor goodness. It was spicy, but not blow your head off. Kinyobi has been on my list for a little while! I had read it has some of the best wings in NJ so I had to try for myself. The korean fried wings were pricey but I figured they were quality so I went for it. 8 piece for $13.86! Damn. I ordered them with the sweet soy sauce instead of the hot flavor. You have two options when ordering. The wings had a good crisp to them and were moist but they lacked flavor. The perfect texture is what stands out here. I coating is not overwhelming either and the chicken flavor really comes through. If only they had a little more flavor! Maybe I will ask for more sauce next time! All good. 4 stars all the way. read more

No. They use gochujang which is mild spicy. They make food to order so speak up and request how u like it.
