Love! Love! Love! This place is great! The food is prepared fresh! Everything that should be hot is! The service was great but the food came out too quickly in the beginning. Our soup arrived and before we blinked - all of our other appetizers were served. I wish they paced it better. In fact, the edamame came very late. It arrived after our sushi even though we ordered it with the other appetizers. I only wish they would let you know how big each order is before ordering. This was we could gauge how many to get. Loved the specials that were recommended.

Great spot for AYCE sushi. There's parking in the back as well as street parking across the street. My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday night and was seated immediately. BYOB so bring a bottle to share! They offer a wide variety of kitchen menu items and rolls. We didn't feel rushed or like they didn't want us ordering more. The waitress even brought us new paper menus a second time to write down our choices.

I can eat here ALL....DAY....LONG. Sushi House's sashimi and sushi are as fresh as a daisy. For $27.99 (Mon-Thu) / $29.99 (All other days including holidays), the AYCE here was worth every single quarter, dime, nickel, penny that we spent here. The menu at Sushi House was very typical of past all you can eat sashimi/sushi restaurants we had been to and the quality of the food was as good as we ever had for AYCE - including the appetizers. I think it goes without saying that if you love sushi AND, especially sashimi, this restaurant will hit every spot and bone in your body. Oh, and there's a decent size parking lot in the back and afternoons tend to be fairly quiet, but I don't know about evenings. And, yes, will 1,000,000% be back again when we're ready to eat till there's no tomorrow!

"I love those appetizers. My favorite dishes are pepper salmon and pepper tuna. I've tried many places for them, but Sushi House is the best--super fresh and delicious! My kids love hand rolls. They are pretty good, and the seaweed quality is better than at other places."

One of the better ayce sushi locations in the area, by far. The rice is soft and fluffy and does not suffocate the roll like most places do in hope you'll fill up on the carbs. In the mood for sashimi instead? Their thick cuts will make you feel like you've gotten your money's worth quickly. It is definitely on the higher price of ayce, but the quality and selection, and offering of even or foods like tempura, udon, gyoza, grilled meats, all made to order and brought to your table. The staff is nice and swing by often with a new order menu when ever you're ready. The large windows lets in nice light during the day, and the restaurant is lightly lit at night with lantern decorations sprinkled around.

Reservation for four on a Friday. You won't be seated until your entire party arrives. Parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Once our group arrived we were seated for all you can eat. Monday - Thursday $27.99 and Friday -Sunday including holidays is $29.99 for all you can eat. The place is BYOB. They open your bottles for you and provide glasses. We brought wine. We ordered calamari, miso soup, gyoza, and rock shrimp for apps. Everything was good especially the miso soup. Take note that 1 order brings two pieces of whatever app you order so order accordingly. We spaced out ordering our apps and sushi to ensure we finished the apps and had the plates removed prior to getting the sushi. This worked out perfectly since they provide fast service and all of the plates would not have fit on the table at once. They have a good selection of apps and sushi and they even have dessert. I had the chocolate ice cream which was good and everyone else had fried oreos which they did mention they wished had more batter but they ate them. Note: One person found the spicy tuna to be too spicy. I do admit the spicy tuna is spicier than in other restaurants but I enjoyed the sushi nonetheless. We will definitely return soon.

Went here for my sister's birthday. Service was fine until the last round of sushi - it took like 30 mins for them to bring out the last sushi. Sushi was average, if not a little below average as there was too much rice. The sashimi pieces were a laughable size, they are TINY.

Horrible service, lady tried to tell me I have to pay extra for not finishing 4 left over pieces of sushi.

Horrible experience here. Also as a town native felt very strange. Server tried charging me extra for leaving behind 3 pieces of sushi. Side note, it's all you can eat. Rule list posted in bold letters clearly stating excessive food left behind would be extra charge. Must say if 3 pieces is excessive consider it a new record.

A solid choice for sushi when in Teaneck. It is as standard of a sushi spot as you can get. I get the regular rolls (salmon avocado, spicy tuna, etc) and they did a nice job with them. It is hard to find exceptional sushi but you know when its bad. This one wasn't bad. The chicken wings were also a sleeper pick. The gyoza weren't bad either. You can also be in and out pretty quickly. 3.5 is a fair score for Sushi house.

This is a gem! All you can eat & BYOB! They do not have reservations for groups less than five. And if you are less than five your whole party has to be there to be seated. There is parking in the back as well as street parking. They have so much on the menu to choose from. We started with appetizers - calamari (2pieces) rock shrimp (2 pieces) and a vast variety of sushi. For dessert we had icecream and fried Oreos. The fried Oreos needed more batter. Overall great staff and food!

Came in on Presidents' Day to get lunch with my mom. We sat down and we we were ready to order they told us we couldn't order from the lunch menu since it's a holiday... i could understand if it was Valentine's Day or Christmas but it's Presidents' Day. I ended up ordering shrimp tempura, Kani salad, sweet potato rolls my mom got cucumbers rolls and shrimp tempura roll. My only complaint is the sweet potato roll doesn't have much potato it's mostly the breading from the tempura. Not a fan wouldn't order again. The workers are also on their phone a lot so it's hard to get their attention if you need something. Like water, spicy mayo etc.

We were going to a show at Debonair Music Hall and decided to come here before the show. We opted not to do the all you can eat and order entrees instead. What made us choose this place was their extensive menu and that they had happy hour specials. Well, as we were placing our order, we found out they serve no alcohol, but told us we could go to the liquor store next door and get a bottle. They were kind enough to warm the sake we purchased. Entrees on the menu were not served as stated. I ordered the vegetable teriyaki, and what they brought me was tofu teriyaki. I informed the server I ordered vegetable teriyaki and she said they don't make that, they only make tofu and vegetable teriyaki. I don't understand why they couldn't steam veggies and add teriyaki to it. The tofu was okay, but not what I ordered. If you are one of the many who come here for the all you can eat, I'm sure this is the place for you.

My dining partner and I were seated rather quickly. Our server took our drink orders and came back promptly so we could order our food. The menu is pretty extensive but we ordered an assortment of skewers and a bowl of ramen to share. The skewers came out little by little; about 3 skewers per plate. They didn't come all at once so I assume they bring them out as they finish getting grilled. The chicken heart was some of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure if it's the way it was sliced, the seasoning, or just everything about it but I wish we ordered more. The tail skewer was another standout. It had so much crunch that it was almost like it was fried. The flavors were rich and varied. Each skewer cost upwards of $4 so that's a bummer. Unfortunately the ramen wasn't so great. Not terrible, but not great either. Especially not great for $19. Not my first choice for ramen. Is it the most bang for your buck? Certainly not. But I did enjoy my meal and in the end, that's what matters.

The dining area is in rough shape -- cracked wood, dusty interior, and a generally run-down vibe that makes it feel borderline dirty rather than "casual." Service was also frustrating. Our servers couldn't answer basic questions about the menu, which is already hard to follow if you're not familiar with Japanese terms. It left us feeling lost rather than guided. On top of that, the pricing is steep for the suburbs -- $5-$8 per skewer adds up really quickly, and it just didn't feel worth it given the atmosphere and service. All the yakitori was decent but nothing mind blowing, smaller servings and overly salty. To make matters worse, the tap water was awful -- honestly undrinkable. Look at my picture I'm shocked they thought this was acceptable to bring to our table. The food itself may be authentic, but everything else about the experience dragged it down. Unfortunately, not somewhere I'd come back to.
