Visited Osaka Sushi for dinner on a Friday. It's a pretty large sushi restaurant with lots of anime posters on the walls. The menu is essentially the same as all the other all you can eat sushi restaurants in Bergen County, with sashimi, sushi, and kitchen items. They give you paper menus, where you check off the items you want and they bring them to your table. Standout items for me were the yellowtail jalapeno and pepper salmon sashimi, as well as the filet mignon special roll. Service was a bit clumsy. I was very concerned as the staff reached over my infant daughter's high chair delivering hot bowls of soup or plates of fried kitchen items. Sushi and sashimi quality were average. Not my first choice for all you can eat sushi.

I'm baffled by the low rating. I popped by for lunch, got the lunch special - three rolls for $14.95, including a small salad and miso soup. I have nothing bad to say. The sushi was fresh, the price was great, service was good. I'll definitely return!

For the price, you can't beat this all you can eat sushi restaurant. There is street parking right out front. The service is great. And the best part.... The food is actually really good. It's also BYOB so feel free to bring any alcohol beverages that you would like to consume. I've referred this spot to a few friends and they throughly enjoyed their dining experience. Thank me later.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. First, the wait was extremely long, and once we were finally seated, there was no English spoken, which made even basic communication a struggle. I was still waiting for chopsticks and a plate while dishes were already being brought to the table. The miso soup tasted like it came straight from a microwave, not freshly prepared. They also charged my 1-year-old for a full meal, which is ridiculous. What made it worse is that they lied to us, saying they weren't going to charge for the meal. But when we were walking out, they stopped us and insisted we had to pay because "we ate it," even though they previously said it was free. Completely unprofessional. "Steve" who I though was a manger eventually came to ask if everything was okay, but by then it was too late to fix anything. Their excuse was that they "only work there," so they weren't responsible. They even said they would call the cops simply because we weren't happy with the service or the food and forced us to pay which is what we were intending to do but we were lie at the table so that we ate the food and then call the cops. We wasted two hours driving to this place because Google showed a 4.6 rating, but Yelp's 3-star rating was the accurate one. Honestly, this restaurant deserves 1 star at best. Terrible service, dishonest behavior, and zero accountability. I will never return and definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

DO NOT EAT HERE OR ORDER FROM HERE! This has to be the absolute worst meal I've had in NJ in a decade. We ordered delivery and the fish legitimately came rancid (driver only had to drive 7 min). The salmon tartare was actually grey and had a horrible odor... immediately threw it out. The udon noodles were gummy, the chicken was bone dry and they thought putting tons of sauce would fix it ... it obviously didn't. Also can restaurants stop stealing other restaurants photos to use on ordering apps. I mean the level of deceipt in the photos they have on uber eats is honestly disgusting and false advertising. I've included photos of some of what we got and the photos they have posted in that order below

Went on a Monday during lunch; staff was pleasant. The decor of the restaurant was interesting, but one of the bathroom was poor. The Quality of the AYCE sushi was average. I wish scallops were on the menu. The filet mignon roll gives you only a small bit of meat.

We did all you can eat sushi and their sushi was fresh and good. Only thing that wished they had was parking lot because it only has street parking. It has sitting area and cute interior. Service was great! Also got vanilla ice cream and fried Oreos as desserts. So good! :)

Did AYCE sushi. I've been here multiple times already. The sushi is great, but based on our experience this time, it wasn't worth the price. I try not to overorder, so I usually just place small orders at a time. We waited over 30 minutes for 10 pieces of salmon sushi, 10 pieces of mackerel, and one piece of tamago--which never even came out. We tried to start a second round of AYCE, but it took almost 15-20 minutes just to get the order sheet. We even asked twice and still didn't receive it until I had to complain. I had to speak to a manager about our experience. He was very attentive at the end, but after waiting so long for food, I had already lost my appetite.

If you love all you can eat sushi, this is a cool place to check out! They have a huuuuuge menu with a ton of different things you can order (and as much as you want). They have a lot dishes that arent sushi too. The quality of ayce sushi is not expected to be top tier, so dont expect it. The sushi here is pretty tasty. Osaka sushi is a good choice amongst the all the ayce options out there.

Did AYCE with my family and service was amazing! Sushi quality was really nice. We sat in the traditional Japanese seating which made the experience 10/10. Will come back soon :)

Maybe i just caught them on a bad day. Got take away lunch sushi special. Sweet potato roll was good, salad/ginger dressing good (wish there was more!), soup was good. Fish in philly roll and tuna roll tasted extra "fishy" and texture was off to me so it was a turn off. Inside looked really nice and staff was friendly.

The only issue was that it's a little awkward being the only table in the restaurant and sitting at the sushi bar... Cause we had like eight people attending us and looking at us and listening to our every word. But you can look at it in another way and assume it felt like more of a private dining experience, which is cool. Because it was our first time there, we didn't wanna opt for the Omakase because my husband and I have had mediocre Omakase experiences and they don't come cheap. And something we didn't realize that this place does, that many other Omakase places don't do, is make their sauces in house to pair with the fish. A lot of omakase spots locally don't care to make a budget for sauces when they can get it ready made. A huge unique selling point of this place was at each sauce was separately made and stored in different containers to pair with the fish it was intended for... And when the chef had mentioned that a lot of Omakase places don't do this, It made a lot of sense. We ordered the Hamachi Jalapeño, tuna Crispy rice, tuna 5 ways, single nigiri pieces of sea bream and mackerel on my side and my husband ordered more basic pieces which I can't recall. We also Ordered the Hokkaido scallop cucumber roll. As soon as we tried the apps, we regretted not doing the omakase just because we knew it was gonna be that good. For Context, I haven't found any place in New Jersey that felt like a go to sushi spot that had high-quality fish, incredible pairings and seemingly consistent. The Hamachi jalapeño were bigger cuts of tuna with like this jalapeño paste sauce. It was amazing and proper spicy. No addtl sauce needed. The crispy rice tuna was insane. The hot rice paired with the cold tuna and their fixings were amazing. It didn't look like much, but it packed a huge punch of flavor. I think it might be the wasabi they use But both the wasabi and soy sauce were insanely good The tuna way of our little attempt at omakase ish. They gave you four pieces of Nigiri ( 2 being fatty tuna pieces) And a chopped tuna hand roll. I'm a texture person so I wasn't a fan of the hand, but each piece of tuna was better than the next. The fatty ones were insanely melty and lovely And I just really goes to show that I don't think I've had good high quality, fresh sushi or fish from many places Because no place matched up to this. I had ordered a piece of sea bream which was insanely good. I've never tried anything like that before and if I could, I would order 20 of those alone. The mackerel was really good and not fishy at all as well. The Hokkaido scallop Cucumber roll was very simple, but packed a huge bunch of flavor when you dipped it in the spicy sauce that it was paired with alongside a soy sauce wasabi combo. You could taste the quality and freshness. I was drinking a glass of sparkling wine... The wine was fine before I had the sushi... But drinking a sip while eating my sushi totally changed my palette as the sparkling wine paired so well that it became sweet. Last, but not least the miso cheesecake - Absolutely incredible and made in house. We ordered two more to go And they thought we were joking. That's how good it was. I don't miss New York City when I have sushi from places like this.

Everything is reasonably priced and you'll get your money's worth. The full menu is available on their website. You have to call to place your order and then pick it up. You pay once you're there. I don't think they use third-party services anymore like Uber or DoorDash. I've been ordering their lunch special (3 rolls for ~$16 with complimentary soup or salad) and I'm always satisfied. My food takes around 15-20 minutes to be ready, which is very reasonable. I haven't had any issues with the service here. They are efficient, pleasant, and always get my order right. My favorite rolls are the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and eel & avocado. The fish to rice ratio is perfect. They pack your rolls with a huge portion of fish. The rice is well seasoned with vinegar, sugar, and salt. The tuna and salmon are incredibly fresh and they're actually spicy!!! They even include a few complimentary pieces of deep fried California rolls. This is one of my go-to spots for a satisfying and filling sushi meal. And you cannot beat the price and value!
