SPICY BRISKET JJAMPPONG It's a spicy dish, but since spice levels vary from place to place--and being Mexican, I'm used to spicy food--I didn't want to take any chances, so I ordered it medium spicy. They hit the nail on the head! It was absolute perfection. The broth was rich, thick, and packed with flavor--delightful in every single way. The portion size is so generous that it will easily cover two meals, and I'm sharing some with my husband. It came with four sides (banchan), including kimchi, and I can honestly say it's the best kimchi I've ever had in my life--and I've tried Korean food both in Mexico and here in the U.S. I first visited this restaurant in Tenafly over a year ago when I believe they were just starting out.
