The portion is so generous, and for the price, it's one of the best values on the menu. I'm actually surprised it isn't on everyone's table! One of the sushi chefs, Toki, remembers us by name from his previous restaurant and always welcomes us with his warm smile. That personal touch makes dining here feel so comfortable and special, almost like coming home! We've enjoyed sushi at many restaurants, but this is the one sushi restaurant in Bergen County where we truly feel every dollar is well spent! I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during peak dinner hours, but if the kitchen cannot keep up with both dine-in and online orders, it would be much better to temporarily disable online ordering until the backlog is under control. Other nearby restaurants, such as Okinami, do exactly that to avoid long waits and frustrated customers. The food has always been decent, but it is simply not worth waiting almost an hour for a takeout order--especially when the order hadn't even been started and I was repeatedly told it would only be "a few more minutes." I would much rather be given an honest estimate upfront than continue waiting without any meaningful update. Better communication and better management of online orders would go a long way toward improving the customer experience.
