The score is strictly for the manager on duty who had the absolute worst attitude. I waited about 3 minutes for her to restock the whole beverage area until she finally realized I was standing behind her waiting. I'd expect someone like that to have a better sense of space. I was literally whistling whatever song was playing in the store so she could get the hint but nothing she continued her very important task. I should add. I was the only person in the restaurant when I ordered. So I get my lemonade and go sit down while I wait for my pizza. This lady then comes to my table which was already clean (ALL THE TABLES WERE CLEAN BYW) and starts to wipe it down. Didn't acknowledge me at all. Did ask "would you like me to wipe down your table ?" Like most normal people would do. No she just went to town on my table like it had been used my the local homeless. You can count on me never coming back to this location. read more

I definitely recommend the Build Your Own Pizza (11-inch) along with an order of the very delicious Cheesy Bread! Picking up in the restaurant was more than amazing from their (Miles') customer service to the warm-ambient lighting. This place is popular for a reason, so order here and never second guess if the quality would be unreasonable. Thanks! read more

Pizza is life! Blaze is our favorite pizza spot and we frequent this location because it's super convenient for our lunch break during work or the Monrovia one for dinner. This location has really fast service and friendly workers. $7.95 for a Build Your Own with unlimited toppings? Yes please! Curious about the way I like it? My pizza ends up looking like a delicious mountain - I order the BYO with classic red sauce and mozzarella, depending on how cheesy I feel that day I'll add ovalini/ricotta. For meats, I like to add chicken and bacon for sure, but sometimes I'll get pepperoni and sausage instead. Veggies are my favorite part! I get artichokes, spinach, mushrooms, pineapples (yes- I like pineapples on pizza), fresh cherry tomatoes, olives and top it off with arugula after it's baked. The blood orange lemonade is really refreshing too! read more

I used to enjoy eating at this pizza place but now... As a customer, I paid a tip but I was the one who had to clean the table. The restaurant felt dirty and there wasn't enough employees to keep the restaurant clean. My pizza tasted horrible--the edge and vegetables were burnt to charcoal, while the middle part was still undercooked. I requested a gluten-free dough but it was a regular one. read more

This is a quick fix to when I have a craving for pizza. I like it mainly because it's right next to Vormans. The pizza here is just okay, sometimes it's good and other times it not. I usually get the art lover and everytime I order this pizza it's made a bit different, some times they put big glops of cheese and other times the marinara sauce over powers everything. So...I really come here to just get a quick fix on a pizza craving. One thing I do enjoy here is the blood orange lemonade. It's my favorite, if you haven't tried it please do. read more

I just stopped by and grabbed a pizza for 3.14! There was a line out the door and it moved along pretty fast. It was impressive. They were also giving out drink samples to those waiting in line and gave me a pair of new sun glasses. What? After ordering it took less than 5 minutes to get my pizza. It could have been cooked a bit more but hey it was 3.14 day. How was the pizza? I got 2x grilled chicken and all the veggies. It was pretty good. I have been to Pizza Rev and Pieology. It was pretty much the same with one exception. I loved their roasted garlic. Gotta get more of that next time. Another plus was that their crust is wheat based so I didn't have to request that like Pieology. Pretty good place for a pizza. Give them a try. We parked in the public lot a block away. read more

What a gem in Pasadena! Probably the best budget place you can go to, and dine outdoors in their expansive space. You can make a pizza with unlimited toppings for one price! (Around $10). This is great during covid times when people just can't afford to eat at a fancy pizza place and they want that to dine outdoors (and not with dominos). Great selection of fresh veggies, nice cheeses (including goat cheese!). Skip their juices or iced teas though. Not that great. read more

The pizza at this location has gone dowhill, But Bad !!! Staff, meaning the Gen. Mgr. Was down right rough, tough, and some what crass and rude. He made it clear we could not have any toppings we wanted. He said the max limit is seven. We wanted more toppings like the old day and we said we were willing to pay per extra toppings. He, said, Nope, you have to buy another another pizza ! He came off super aggresive and more than assertive. I had to tell him, we are in our 70's and we didn't come here to fight. We wantd pizza before catching a movie next door. Long story short, HORRIBLE DINNER AND VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT BLAZE HIRES MEAN GENERAL MANAGERS THAT ENJOY MESSING UP THE MOVIE NIGHT FOR SOME OLDER FOLKS THAT WANT PIZZA. We will not RETURN. read more

If you have severe allergies, I wouldn't recommend coming here. The cross contamination is WILD. Toppings touching other toppings. Their prep station was a mess and not clean at all. Not a single glove was changed when handling multiple pizzas. This girl was touching a screen with gloves on and then touched food and toppings with the same gloves. Does no one care about food safety anymore?? This is ridiculous. read more

I can't say enough about this location of Blaze Pizza. We were on our way to the playhouse and Blaze was nearby. I've been to another location but at this place, all the pieces came together. Good service. Timely, friendly and helpful. The pizza was, dare I say, the best pizza ever. I was in heaven. The sea salt, the plentiful cheese, the good sausage and pepperoni on top of a very thin crust was just a perfect combination. I will come back again and again. The team of employees here were polite and worked well together. Priced just right. Salad included. read more

I have been here several times, and usually I'm greeted and helped pretty quickly. I've had good experiences here leading up to this experience. Yesterday was an exception, and I'm giving an overall 3.5 stars for my entire clump of experiences at this Blaze. Yesterday, I went in at about 5:30, the store was not busy-- except after I started my order, they got a bunch of online orders that had an impact on the customer service I received. What I mean is, that as soon as the lady serving me brought over a long string of stickers with online orders on them, I was not treated as a priority to the Blaze representative. She started making those before she asked to help me with my toppings. Anyway, it didn't make me feel taken care of as a face-face customer. I figure that's worth mentioning so y'all are aware at Blaze. Anyway, the only other bad service I got was from the lady behind the register. I waited for 8 min before getting a chance to pay. She was standing, putting her gloves on, but not helping anyone else. By the time I got to pay, she was not friendly towards me. I asked if I could please have my receipt and she didn't say anything, so I politely asked again, to which she responded by raising her voice at me: "I got it! I will." Then she looked at me in a dirty way. It just wasn't an overall customer service experience that makes me want to return. The food was quality, it reached my expectations and then went beyond. The seating options are spacious, the lighting is chromatic, and the bathrooms are clean. read more

VEGAN REVIEW: What kind of sick person chooses a salad over pizza? Probably just me, but for the record, this was the first time I've chosen salad over pizza. I was just feeling like having something light that night. I went through the line and the people working seem to be stingy on the toppings. I'm getting a salad without meat or cheese... give a girl some substance, PLEASE! When I came to the end of the line, I saw a small tin filled with cubes of fried tofu. The label said "popcorn chicken (vegan)", so of course I asked for some on my salad. I was really pleased they had a vegan protein and am even more surprised that it tasted good. The only vegan salad dressing they have is their balsamic, according to the manager who looked in their little binder of ingredients. I believe all the info is posted on their website as well, but I didn't have time to look it up beforehand. It's possible there are more, so I would recommend giving their site a look! Overall, I enjoyed my salad, but really wish it was bigger and more filling for the price. Definitely more worth it to get a pizza. read more

Stopped by here around lunchtime on 09/25/23 and there were more employees standing around looking at each other than the two that were working. There were only maybe three people in line in front of me but it took about 15-minutes just to order. Then the pizzas that we ordered started coming out but we were missing one of the pizzas that we ordered and the guy said it was coming. 10-minutes later, still no pizza. Went up and asked and they said they don't know what happened to it so they will make another one. Cool. Remade pizza comes out but it's not what we ordered. Asked about it and the guy just has this confused look on his face and said 'sorry'. Not sure what happened to this location as it was not like this before but I won't be going back again. I LOVE this Blaze location. Parking is a little hard, but it's right on the corner. They have great vegan options and their pesto is FIRE ! When I walked in today, I forgot a mask so I annoyingly held a towel around my face. A blaze employee noticed I was struggling and handed me a new mask they had extras of. I was surprised and so thankful because then I didn't have to hold the towel in one hand and grab the pizzas in another. The employees were kind and accommodating. I will definitely be back! If I could give the Fountain Valley business a ZERO...I would. First ever Blaze Pizza I ordered was so burned I could not eat it. Took it back the next morning and the guy looked at it and threw it in the trash can. I wrote to corporate and they are suppose to credit my credit card. Ordered my 2nd ever pizza tonight. I had it delivered this time. It was supposed to be here at 3:40. Almost an hour later I called twice but no one came to the phone and their voicemail was "not set up". I also went online to the help desk and left 2 messages. No one ever responded. Keep in mind my front door is open and I am sitting 40 feet away. After an hour I went to shut the door and there is my cold pizza box. They didn't ring the doorbell or even say "hello". This has to be the worst pizza company EVER. Avoid them at all cost ! read more

When Blaze Pizza came to Pasadena, the Build Your Own was just under $8.00. What a bargain and so many yummy ingredients to choose from. Alas, the going price for a BYO is nearly double and lacking. This is because, slowly ingredient toppings have disappeared as an option. No more goat cheese, olivine cheese, no more kalamata olives. There are other items that have disappeared and have been replaced with a salad option. But honestly, this is a pizza place. If you wanted a salad with your pizza go to Shakey's. Then you have 5 different people taking over to make your pizza, who knows if they've all replaced their plastic gloves when jumping into the line to place limited choices in your pizza. The last time we were there, the people behind the counter seemed like they didn't give a F#ck. I used to really like going here, but the last couple of times the vibe has been meh. There's no love in making the food and it tastes like it. read more

I love Blaze. I actually used to work here in college and was never grossed out because they use fresh ingredients and really care about the way the dough is made and cooked. They have options to include a lot of dietary restrictions too. I appreciate the fresh taste at the rate they cook it and think the price is on point. I also think compared to more fast food pizza it's healthy. When ya look at the calorie counts on the pizza it ain't too bad. I also love their s'mores pies!! Mouth watering. It is so sad to write this review but this location, which has been our favorite for years, has gone completely downhill - in food and in service. We have been regular customers and like always, we ordered pizzas Saturday night- all vegetarian due to dietary restrictions and ended up with one which had pieces of chicken and the other with toppings all mixed up. I don't even care about the mixed up toppings but the chicken in the vegetarian pizza is a big deal. It could be a mistake but the only thing is, this isn't the first time it has happened or just to us. Despite requests for fresh cutters, meat sneaks in. I am not sure why a vegetarian request is not taken seriously. It could be a life threatening allergy. Called the store and spoke to the shift manager who sounded like she was barely awake. She finally understood the problem and told us she will have her supervisor call back and refund our money. Since then I have called the store three times - actually spoke to the supervisor one of those times and he dismissed me saying he is very busy and he will call back when he has the time. Every time I call I am told supervisor isn't available. So who helps with customer service if the supervisor is never available to handle issues? Such poor customer service! read more

We live walking distance and used to eat here every 1-2 weeks. A while back we went in and we're surprised to fine they no longer had goat cheese, which is a must-have for a custom pizza for me. We didn't go back for several weeks, but decided to go a few days ago. Went in a few days ago, and now they've discontinued Kalamata olives, which is a must-have for my son. Staff told us that corporate locations will still have those items, but they are a franchise. To the management: if I want the ordinary ingredients, I can order from Dominos. You've lost some regular customers. read more

Not bad! Crispy flats Make your own! Healthy versions of pizza...well healthy versions of flats! I was debating between a three and a four but decided on 3 because it's just very thin bread with some sauce and some raw cut vegetables that gets thrown into a pit of fire. Fast food joint/environment. Quick. Definitely good for that late night post work late night meal. A little bit of comfort for cheap but you don't feel so guilty because it's not the New York or Chicago style pizza size loaded carbohydrate crust that sends you into post food hyperglycemia syndrome rendering you incapable of moving and feeling like you've sent your BMI into the obese range. We have eaten at at this location MANY times since they opened, and always enjoyed their food, UNTIL TONIGHT!! We decided to order dinner on the app and pick it up to take home. The app said the order would be ready between 8:20 and 8:30. My husband got to Blaze at 8:30 and waited ONE HOUR for the 3 pizzas and 2 sides we had paid for. He texted me from Blaze several times to say, "this place is so unorganized and such mess that he wanted to cancel the order and get our money back"... 2 of the 3 pizzas we ordered sat behind the counter while they gave our 3rd pizza to the wrong customer! By the time he arrived home at 9:30 the food was cold and the presentation was awful. This was the WORST FOOD I had ever had from Blaze and I ended up throwing mine away it was so unappetizing. It was a total WASTE of $45.00!!!! And I want my money back. So, buyer beware, this location of Blaze Pizza has gone so far downhill from its original glory days, it is NOT worth the trip! Every time I say I'm not going to order from this place again and I end up doing it anyway, only to be disappointed again. If you order online, show up as soon as you make the order - they don't actually make the pizza at the time suggested on the order, they simply churn them out as quickly as possible and then let them sit. I ordered online and was given a time frame to pick up 25-35 minutes later. Knowing that they do this, I showed up ten minutes after ordering. Checked the online order pickup area, no pizzas. So I stood there and waited for a half hour as other pizzas was made and orders called out, expecting that mine was being made. Ten minutes after my "pickup window" had passed, I finally asked about my pizza. Lo and behold - the pizza had been sitting somewhere behind the counter for nearly a half hour. Nobody had bothered to call it out or put it in the online pickup area. It was cold by the time I got home to eat it. Cheese congealed and flat. EVERY TIME this happens. Ok, fine, I should order in person. Last time I did that, they smashed the box lid closed on the hot pizza and when I opened it, the cheese was stuck to the top of the box with none left on the pizza. This place sucks. It's overpriced with terrible service and honestly the pizza isn't even that good on the rare occasion it's made properly and given to you while still warm. read more
