Craved pizza after a night exploring different places in Pasadena. Blaze was open late. Ordered a build-your-own with classic red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, green peppers, banana peppers, olives, mushrooms, roasted broccoli. The staff was very efficient and I liked that they kept the pizza in the wood fire grill a bit longer to make the crust crispy. With a little red chili pepper and Parmesan cheese on top, it was the perfect snack to share with my husband. Mmm, thank you.

Blaze Pizza sits on the NE corner of E. Colorado Blvd. & E. Molino Ave. in Pasadena.

First visit to any Blaze Pizza location. We stopped in after a show at the Pasadena Playhouse, as this is one of only a few places open late in the theater district. It's a short walk from the Playhouse, located on the NE corner of E. Colorado Blvd. & E. Molino Ave. Plenty of indoor seating available, and parking is on the street or in a nearby pay lot (walkable distance). Ordering is cafeteria style: select your pizza and then walk along to add toppings, finally paying at the register. When your order is ready, they call out your name/ticket number and you go back up to the counter to pick up your food. No table service. My wife and I shared a Carnivore Pizza ($13.99) and a Cinnamon Bread ($4.99) for dessert. Overall, the dining area could have used more attention to cleaning after customers left their tables, but the food was tasty, and the service was okay. I'd try them again, for sure.

Amazing service but found a rubber band in my pizza box again everyone is super nice but double check

Came for pi day and what a busy day this was. There was a line out the door. I will know this for next year. It was probably the busiest it ever was and will ever be. So many eager people wanting their pi day pie. Their pi day deals vary each year but this year was bogo for $3.14. Not a bad deal but definitely enough for it to draw the crowds. I think food usually tastes better if you are getting a deal. Therefore the pizzas were delicious! We got the spicy pepperoni and the carnivore. I was not ready for the sweet sauce on the carnivore. I would definitely ask for no sauce next time. On a side note, the side door allows for entry by unwanted guests. A homeless guy entered and sat in a booth area and was occupying space that a paying customer could have been sitting at. That was a little unsettling. There should be some security to prevent vagrants from entering without a purpose.

This blaze location is conveniently located on Colorado and is one of the few fast-casual places that don't require a sit-down experience. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. The one drawback is the service here is incredibly slow. It's not that it isn't sufficiently staffed either, they just don't prioritize speed at all. They do participate in pi day deals annually which is nice. If they trained or prioritized urgency here at all this would be an easy 5/5. You can see the other reviews for similar complaints.

You know when you walk into a place and just know they hired the right people? Like, the manager is great, the employees fit perfectly, and everything just runs the way it should? Yeah--this place nailed it. They have the best manager I've ever dealt with at any location. And no.. I didn't ask to speak to the manager haha--he just happened to be behind the counter when I was checking out one day. We ended up having a conversation about how I mistakenly ordered a large on a previous visit, and he was super kind and sweet. He let me know that the large I ordered wouldn't taste the same as the build-your-own regular and gave me some helpful tips for next time. Then, out of nowhere, he gave me a complimentary drink--just to make sure I had a good experience. What a sweetheart. Honestly, every single time I come here, the employees are incredibly friendly, and I always leave with a great interaction. This place is so worth the drive--I go 10 miles out of my way and deal with the crappy parking just to get my Blaze Pizza from this specific location. I've never vouched this hard for a Blaze Pizza before, but trust me, if you want your pizza made right, come here. Other locations may follow the same system, but it just doesn't hit the same way it does here. Also, this location is huge and very spacious and you can sit down if you really want to eat here, but I always take mine to go.. because who doesn't want to eat their pizza while cuddled up in bed binge watching 30 episodes? No? Just me? Okay.

Blaze's Cajun-style pizza. Nice, but not what I ordered.

I remember when Blaze Pizza first opened in Pasadena. We simply couldn't get enough. Pies were $7 (more or less) and the service was stellar. That was 14 years ago and the prices are higher, the customer service was lousy, and again, the pizza bottom was burned.

Made a mobile curbside order I called more then 20 times and waited half an hour for my order I ordered curbside since I was with my children and couldn't get down I eventually had to run out the car to grab my order and which an employee then said why I didn't just get down from my car. I ordered curbside and not pickup for a reason ?! Very unprofessional that I couldn't get through in phone call they would immediately just hang up as soon as it started ringing. This happened on September 18 2025 at 2:55 my order was supposed to be ready and out since 2:27. The lady had a tattoo on her arm and also it was completely empty unacceptable why have a phone if no one answers and also it none of the employees business why I ordered curbside that was completely rude im always ordering here and I've never had anyone so rude

This is not a classic Italian pizza, but the quality of the ingredients is good and consistent. We usually get the Build Your Own Pizza and have been happy with it!

Not safe for celiacs. Same sauce and toppings are used, and staff don't seem to know what gluten is. I don't feel safe coming here anymore.

I don't think I'll order it again.. my partner ordered the hot honey chicken and it tasted fine.. it wasn't too special according to him. Service: You order at the front and eat at a table. The tables were clean. Overall, the interior looks nice. We felt comfy. There's also outdoor seating! Parking: Parking fee wasn't too bad. It's $1.50 for 1 hour at the Playhouse parking lot. There's also a lot of street parking with meters. Overall: I would come back.. I just don't think I'll order the same thing. Maybe I'll stick to chicken next time. The chicken did taste better in my opinion. Free water is available and they even have the crunchy good ice!

It was a nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. Walking in we got in line to make a salad bowl and service was quick and we went right after the lunch died down a bit. But this reminds me of places like chipotle or cava and these are my type of places! I had all the greens and proteins I wanted with being able dress up my salad bowls with sauces! Delicious and a bit pricey but once in a while it is good!

I love…read morethe convenience of ordering online ahead of time, and I appreciate how accurate they are with the wait times of when my food was ready. I tried the Chicken Caesar Wrap and the Margherita Pizza. My most candid thoughts: Margherita Pizza: This resembled more of a flat bread than a pizza. The sauce they used tasted like tomato pasta sauce from a jar and not necessarily pizza sauce. The dough tasted somewhat undercooked and thick, and the sauce and cheese did not stick well to the dough. Very bland in flavor. Huge portion though for the price. 5.5/10 Chicken Caesar Wrap: Very underwhelming as the chicken tasted dry and rough. I really liked the Spicy Caesar sauce though. It really spiced things up and added more flavors to the bland wrap. Portion was great and lettuce was fresh. I loved that they added avocados. However, it was definitely not the best Chicken Caesar wrap I've ever had and I would most definitely not be dying to order it again. 7/10 Parking is convenient as there is a free lot nearby. No seating inside as it's take out only.

It's the perfect shareable meal and worth every single penny. It's been a minute since I wrote a review, but these guys deserve the love. The photos I snapped don't do the chicken, salad, or any of the fixings justice, but trust me: if you're hunting for some of the best herb-roasted chicken in town, Kismet is a must-try. The name fits the vibe perfectly--meant to be. I'm picky about rotisserie/herb-roasted chicken and always benchmark against heavy hitters: Mi Piace's Prezzemolo (still my all-time favorite), the long-gone Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken from Cheesecake Factory's heyday, and more recently, Verde in Costa Mesa's killer Lemon & Sumac half chicken (easily top 3). Kismet's half chicken holds its own in that elite group. It's juicy, tender, and packed with bright Mediterranean flavor--a healthier, more refined take on the classic Zankou Chicken style I've loved forever. What pushes it over the edge for me is the quality: free-range, non-GMO, antibiotic-free, air-chilled, and raised right here in California. Bottom line: Kismet belongs on any serious "greatest herb-roasted chicken" list (at least mine). If you haven't tried it yet, go fix that. Highly recommend.

I had 2 other experiences prior to this where the chicken seemed off but I kept trusting it would be as good as it when I first had Kismet when it first opened back in March 2025. On May 7th, 2026 at 3:30 PM I ordered for pickup my usual meat and potatoes plate. Weirdly, the order was ready for pickup in a couple of minutes when usually it would be ready in 10 minutes which would have been less sketchy. I should have trusted my instincts. I walked in to pick up my order and there were zero customers around, usually there are a few customers eating at the tables. Sign that the quality has dwindled and the regulars aren't retuning. I get back home to treat myself (I spent $28 for the meal plus a drink.) Much to my dismay I opened the plate and was so disappointed. It was half of what normally comes in the box but the potatoes were stacked high and of course extremely oily. I was like ok let's just eat this because I don't have more time to find another place to get food plus I've already splurged. The chicken was undercooked and rubbery and came with no chicken breast like it normally does just some boney legs. Since I was so hungry and paid the extra money for "light" chicken I still ate it. I'm sick now, the night of May 8th I'm still on the toilet. Save your money and go to Zankou if you want good rotisserie chicken they've been doing it right in LA since the 80s. Or Costco; 5$ chicken unless you want a $32 dollar chicken here to make you and your family sick and poor.
