We visited Blaze for the first time this past Saturday eve. Upon arrival the place was quite busy. The staff were super friendly & helpful. We both ordered a pizza off of the menu instead of build your own. When we got down to all of the toppings they let us add additional at no charge! That was a pleasant surprise. Thought it'd be a bit before we got our pizzas after ordering since it was so busy, but the actual firing process was super quick! The pizza was absolutely delicious. I think I have found my favorite pizza place in town. I have had Blast and Pieology as well and I prefer Blaze. I love their crust and I have tried their white sauce and spicy marinara. I like the spicy marinara better and have to remember to ask for extra. They have great meat, cheese and veggie options as well as great seasonings and drizzles. My only complaint is that they do not carry linguica, but they still get 5 stars because they are that awesome! They also have vegan cheese and offers a gluten free crust. I have tried 3 different pizzas and have been satisfied with the food and service everytime. Their shredded mozarella and feta cheese is absolutely delicious. I have a sweet tooth and ordered their s'mores and loved every bite. Today, they had their pizzas for $3.14 because of Pi Day, but they were so organized that it wasn't even a long wait even while it was raining! Worst pizza very cheap I will never go there again. Cheap ingredients. The white garlic sauce tasted like tasteless white gravy. Very stingy with toppings. I got iced tea and asked for sweetener, they brought sugar and said they had no sweetener. Every table in the restaurant was dirty. Update: we never received any contact with the appropriate parties after an email was sent after our experience. We did go into the restaurant location and spoke with the manager. She was very helpful and apologized for our experience. Her customer service was amazing! I wish I remembered her name. I don't know if it was the fault of the delivery company but we will definitely avoid delivery and just go into the location. We placed an online order and schedule delivery. After 20 minutes AFTER our food was suppose to be delivered, we made over 10+ calls to the location without any answer or return of our messages. Our door dash delivery person said she was contacted an hour AFTER our scheduled delivery to pick up our order. She said the location was dead and our order just sitting there. After close to 2 hours after placing our order, we received our cold pizzas. I will NEVER order from them again. I'm sure ordering in the store is better but this customer will not order from any of their locations again. read more

I tried this place on Friday after receiving a voucher for a free pizza. The customer service was a 5 along with cleanliness. I liked that they had roasted garlic and sauteed onions. I am so disappointed. I've gone to this specific blaze twice as well as another location three times and have never had the mat of the GF pizza come off in the oven. My husband asked the oven worker if the mat came off (even though we both saw it come off and the worker throw it to the side) and he said no. Like, we could literally see it two feet away from my pizza and he said no. My husband asked him two more times and he completely dismissed his question. He put my pizza in a box and we left. I know they're not celiac certified, but with the glove change and the oven mat I've always felt fine after eating their pizza, but now that it's thoroughly cross contaminated I will likely not. Teach your damn employees to fess up to their mistakes and keep the customer happy. Or at the very least simply be kind. read more

I just moved about 2 minutes away from this location and after my first visit I was hooked. I downloaded the app, ordered 3 custom pizzas at 615 pm and requested that they be ready for pick up at 7 pm. I arrived at about 658 and they were pulling 2 of my pizzas out and finished my third at 7 on the dot. My pizzas were hot and as fresh as you can get. The toppings were all correct and they were cooked perfectly and my total bill was around 20 bucks which was very reasonably for what I ordered. The employees appeared very happy to be at work and the guy that helped me, I believe his name is Garon, was incredibly polite and had a smile on his face the entire time I was there. They have pizzas that they've "built" for you incase you're not in the mood to build your own. Salads are available and they have good beer options on tap! Just Skip this location. Seriously. Blaze has a great business model & their pizza is good, but this location is not either of those. I have given this location more tries than they deserve & today was the last straw. In the past, we have had wrong orders, burned black pizza, not so nice employees, and always slow service at this location in the past. Today, I placed an online order and realized right after hitting send that I hit pick up and not curbside. So, when I got there, I parked in curbside and called them to let them know that I had an order pending and would like it changed to curbside (bc I have a broken knee). I was told ok. We waited and waited and after half hour I called and was told (snarky) that this was not ordered curbside. They still wouldn't bring it out. Had to send my young grandson in to get the now cold pizzas. I know it's hard to get good help during the pandemic, but they surely could do better than this. We visited Blaze Pizza last night for the first time. Everything looked freshly made and was good. I, agree, that the red sauce isn't that tasty, but the roasted garlic is to die for. Brenda, who works there is awesome, kind, very friendly, and attentive. Our favorite, build your own pizza, is at a restaurant called MOD pizza. We are new to Clovis and are trying out the restaurants here and, while we like Blaze the Best, it is still lacking.
