Just came through drive thru to order and had the worst experience ever. The lady that was speaking to us through the intercom was continuously yelling at us. I had also had coupons to use and my partner had told her we had coupons when we pulled up to the pay window, and she proceeded to yell at us as to why we didn't tell her in advance when ordering and then proceeded to be irritated with us and told us in a rude sarcastic tone that we had to wait now because we didn't tell her in advance about the coupons. read more

The charbroiled BBQ sandwich was pretty good. Not the best looking lettuce, but the tomato was good as well as the chicken and BBQ sandwich. Healthy and good! For fast food anyways. Just had another Carl's Jr Super Star with cheese and as usual enjoyed it a lot. My wife had the same and we always rave how delicious they are . Always consistent and build to please. We always do drive up take away and enjoy them at home since we're close. Our last cheeseburger experience was at Habit and we were really disappointed and couldn't help thinking we should've gone to Carl's . They are always consistent in their build and quality and freshness is always there. Carl's Jr fulfills our Cheeseburger cravings. read more

My experience at the Carl's Jr. on Herndon and Fowler in Clovis, California was awful. I asked for a lettuce wrapped jalapeño thick burger, which I get from other locations at least once a week, and it wasn't actually lettuce wrapped but more of lettuce on top and on the bottom. I could not eat it without a fork and knife and the box was so soggy from the moisture of the lettuce that the box got soggy and tore, dripping all over me. I asked for no tomato and it had tomato. Worse than anything, I get that their burgers are charbroiled, which I love, but not when they are so burnt that they are crunchy. read more

TERRIBLY slow drive through experience yesterday for late morning breakfast. We weren't ordering for a soccer team..just one little combo and an extra drink. Luckily, we were the first in line when we ordered. I felt bad for the parade of cars behind us when we finally received our order. Patronized this business for lunch today. Language was a barrier. The MANAGER had a very large accent and was not only hard to understand but was hard to communicate to as well. I don't think it was a language problem though when I asked for my burger to be made fresh. Managers reply was "oh yes, always fresh". 1 minuto later my burg was wrapped and being placed in a bag. This drive through is HORRIBLE! We ordered a burger with no mayo. Drive all the way home and it has mayo. We go back to get it remade and the woman acted like she didn't understand. How hard is it to understand NO MAYO!? She got worked up and made a big deal of it. So I said fine, I asked for a refund...she claims she can't give me one!! Ordered 3 combos through drive thru. SPECIFICALLY asked for 6 ranch (2 for each combo) & the cashier seemed very bothered by the fact that i asked for that many ranch. When i get home and check my food i only got TWO RANCH for 3 people. I dont mess around about my sauce. The food is okay, but the service is awful. Three times in a row that I've had problems with ordering. It is apparent to me that the counter workers simply do not listen to you. One even said I was lying about what I had ordered when they got it wrong. Since the orders were for take-out, I didn't notice the order was wrong until I got home. You can say I should have checked my order before I left, and if I ever go back, which I doubt, I will definitely check it. On the other hand, these employees expect $15 minimum wage, so I believe they should have better customer service skills. Getting a customer's order right is something everyone should expect. Not bad at all... One of the reasons we end up going here is mainly because they have a decent kids play area, and being a stay-at-home Dad, I need to get the kids out of the house sometimes while I can munch on some fries and play around on the iPad. The play area seems to be one of the kids' favorites, and is relatively clean compared to some of the other fast food play areas in town. That said, it is not rare that you have to bus your own table before sitting down. The outside tables are oftentimes neglected. As far as accuracy goes, this restaurant has never messed up an order... not once. That alone deserves an extra star in my book. Just about every other fast food restaurant in town has let me down at LEAST once, so for a store like this to be able to deliver exactly what I order (modifications and all) on a consistent basis is a huge plus. There are other stores in town where I KNOW I'm going to have to check the bag before I even think about putting the car in drive, and this store isn't one of them. Seriously, they deserve recognition for being on top of it in regards to accuracy. Food quality ain't too shabby either. I personally believe their burgers are tastier than the other fast food giants, but that is just my opinion. I'm also really digging the hand-cut chicken tenders these days, though I have noticed them getting gradually smaller each time I've ordered. Their natural cut fries are a thing of beauty. Actually, there is quite a lot on their menu that I like. I think that they are definitely one of my favorite fast food burger concepts (unless of course, you start getting into more niche concepts such as Habit or Five Guys...) The only reason this store isn't five stars, in my opinion, is that I have noticed the hand-cut chicken tenders getting smaller (one of my personal favorite menu items), and I would like to see the outside play/eating area kept a little bit cleaner. Again it's fast food. Still enjoy the burgers and chicken. I like to come here because it's one of the fue places that still has a kidd play area. This one happens to be outdoors so it's nice for the kids to have a shady spot to play when the weather is nice. Since it is outdoors and a large structure expect the kids to have diets hands after playing. The kiddos I nanny for are 4 and 2 1/2 and it's at time easier to bring em here than a apart so I can study and I know they art gonna run off with a stranger plus er are super close to a working bathroom and free ice water :] it also happens to be across from the hubs work so win win! read more

I haven't been to a Carl's Jr in quite some time so when I arrived at the I asked the gentleman behind the counter, by the name of Daniel, what he suggested. He gladly gave me a suggestion and proceeded to take the rest of our order. After our food was delivered, midway through our meal, Daniel came back to check on us. This was in my opinion was an unusual act to find in a fast food restaurant, but a more than welcome sight. What can I say about the $6 Philly burger but tasty. What made the dinner so pleasant was the cashier he was very accommodating and cheerful. With the meal came a free ice cream sandwich and immediately said I will bring your meals to you all and when you are finished with your burgers I will then bring out your ice cream sandwiches so they don't melt while you are eating your burgers. When I heard "caller number 9 is getting hooked up with free food" on the radio, I called right away. The d.j. tells me ive won 6 3-way bacon burgers from carls jr. Now, ive been a vegetarian for 26 years so I was not exactly thrilled. Well tonight I was hungry and decided to cash in on my free burger. I ordered it and asked if they could sub the meat for guacamole. This simple request really seemed to confuse the food prep worker. I heard him ask three times, no bacon? No patty? The manager stepped in and really went out of his way to help make me a wonderful sandwich with pepper jack, san pedro sauce, onion, pickle, lettuce and tomato on a giant bun.
