I always feel strange reviewing fast food restaurants, because you're essentially getting the same thing but different service at any given visit. But I'm writing a review because I feel like they handled this situation well. It was busy at the drive thru and inside on a Wednesday evening around 6. They ran out of what I ordered and at the window had to ask for a new order, so I gave my second option and I could hear them asking for a "sandwich at the window". They then asked us to pull to the front to get the nuggets we ordered for my daughter. I went inside in the meantime to get some extra sauce. Next in my quest to rank and rate burgers is Jack in the Box. First thing, just like every drive through, triple check your order and then check it one more time. Their basic burger, the Jumbo Jack with cheese, is really quite good. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions seem fresh and ripe, and the patty is nicely grilled. The bun is substantial enough to contain the fillings and not break down, but not overly thick. There's a slightly sweet sauce on it. Their curly fries are delicious too. Lastly, do I need to talk about their tacos? Even calling them tacos is a stretch, but they are legendary for their strange deliciousness. Get at least four. read more

Breakfast: No line. 8:00am. Paid $16.00. Drove only one mile home so stuff would still be fresh. Got home and ate cold food that tasted like it had been made 2 hours earlier and wrapped up. I had to microwave it, add salt, pepper and ketchup because it was tasteless. All my daughter wanted was some fries. I opened the bag and they were just tossed in there and all over the place. I rather eat crappy food than complain because I understand sometimes restaurants have bad days but it seems like it's a constant with this Jack-in-the-Box. I treat my son to fast food once a week if he gets a good grade on a test. He always picks jack in the box for the bowls. The service is always horrible especially a certain worker at the drive thru. The guy always has an attitude is very unpleasant. We ordered a shake and a teriyaki bowl meal today we received the teriyaki bowl with no sauce maybe 2 broccoli pieces- if that, the fries were harder than rocks and the shake tasted rancid!! I politely notified him that the shake tasted "different" and he looked at me like if I was stupid with an awkward silence. I then asked if they could substitute it for something else and he said that they're going to all taste the same so I requested a refund and he acted extremely annoyed with me that I was making him do his job. I didn't even mention anything about the teriyaki bowl. I just wanted to leave. It's so sad cuz we really like Jack-in-the-Box and it's only a few blocks away from our house. read more

I have been in there numerous times to either order food or pick up food and nobody says a word to you after you've been standing there for 5 minutes. I need to share a story with you, it is a story of despair, disgust, heartbreak, and filthy lies. My husband picked up breakfast from this jack in the box today for the family so that neither one of us would have to cook. He picked up loaded breakfast sandwichs and ultimate breakfast sandwichs and some hash browns. With names like that we were expecting explosions of flavors, a cornucopia of deliciousness. A taste so ultimate and loaded that champions would bypass their triathlons and rush feverishly to acquire these breakfast sandwiches. In reality these are no breakfast sandwiches of champions these are breakfast sandwiches of cheaters liars and losers! The buns were crusty but not in a toasty warm and inviting way they were crusty like a pair of socks worn endlessly during the month of July paired with 7 year old Crocs and yellow toe nails. My bun cracked in half the way old chanclas do when they've been used relentlessly flying across rooms to discipline an unruly child. Like old chanclas there was an unidentifiable black smudge of filth on the bottom of my bun that had worried me and made me wonder what horrible torture this bread was put through. It also made me wonder what horrible tortures I would go through if I were to ingest this pathetic and miserable piece of bread. The egg in the sandwich was cold and reminded me of playdough that had been handled and mouthed by many little hands full of boogers and vavas. Though the egg was cold, somehow the cheese was warm melted and had the texture and smell of spittle from the mouth of a drunken tio with bad teeth and no knowledge of personal hygiene and boundaries. Had this been the first time that I had issues with the food at this place I would not leave such a scathing review. I am confessing that this is my own fault, because fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Though I had no knowledge that my husband was going to go to Jack in the box especially this particular Jack in the box, I feel that when I saw that bag sitting on the table with those sandwiches inside it I should have immediately thrown them away without unwrapping the paper that encased them in fictitious lying promises of being ultimate and loaded. Now I have shared my story with you and you have been fairly warned it is up to you to listen. Either you learn from my mistakes or you learn the hard way. read more

Now I won't lie, while their drive through was crowded, they got me through it quickly. Their food was ok, not fantastic, but ok. But ask me if the quality of their food matches the price and that would be a great big negative. I don't know if they have raised their prices recently or what, but $4.75 for JUST the burger seems a bit steep. I would expect to pay that much for a burger and fries, but not for the burger by itself. So, as much as I like the place, I probably won't be back, they just don't give you enough return for your dollar. read more

When I receive the curly fries there was two whole fries the rest of the bag were burnt and broken end pieces ( the last of the bag) I went back up to the register and showed them my fries and ask if I could have some better ones.
