A double-double with both raw and grilled onions, a side of animal style fries, and a Coke might be the closest thing to reaching a state of "Nirvana" that I'll ever feel. Plus, after consuming my cat's body weight in grilled meat and carbs I never feel gross. It's almost as if using fresh made ingredients is slightly better for you? Consistency is the game here and unlike other fast food chains; burger spots, coffee shops, chicken places, go ahead and pick your poison, none of them even come close to what this American institution has done. Rather than responding professionally, he became visibly irritated, shrugged his shoulders, rolled his eyes, sighed deeply, and said, "You didn't hear me the first time?" His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unnecessary. I was so offended by his behavior that I asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, instead of de-escalating the situation or listening to my concerns, the manager made the experience even worse. I didn't feel heard, my concerns were dismissed, and no effort was made to resolve the issue. At that point, I was no longer comfortable having anyone prepare or handle my food. When a customer is treated disrespectfully for simply speaking up, it creates a lack of trust in the entire experience. I have been a customer for years, and I have never felt so belittled, disrespected, and dehumanized over such a reasonable request. If an employee is taking orders while wearing a mask that makes it difficult for customers to hear, they should understand the importance of speaking clearly and loudly enough for customers to confirm their orders. This entire situation could have been avoided with basic courtesy and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling humiliated and disappointed. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this establishment, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously so no other customer is treated this way.

The food was incredible--honestly one of the best restaurants I've been to for the price. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. I especially want to recognize our social therapist, Moses. He was the best social therapist I've ever had. He made my friends and me feel genuinely welcome, was incredibly attentive, and provided outstanding service from start to finish. He's a huge asset to the restaurant. Colton's Social House has definitely earned some lifelong customers. We can't wait to come back!
