The workers are nice but never fill the cups all the way. If im paying for a $7 drink, it better be full.

I love their chocolate croissants, raspberry shortbread cookies, and chocolate-dipped macaroons. My husband loves their ginger cookies, carrot cake cupcakes, and pecan rolls. In the summer, they also have delicious Raspberry Lime Rickeys. Earlier this week, we took our drive to Quebrada and bought our yummies. I was getting a straw for my Rickey, and my husband headed out the door, thinking I was right behind him. When he realized I wasn't there, he returned to the store to find me. He walks with crutches, and on his way back into the store, something happened and he fell. At that very second, everyone in the store went running to help him. I helped to get him up, and the entire store staff went into helper mode. One person brought him paper towels (he had hit his nose and was bleeding), someone else brought band-aids, someone brought a bag full of ice, and someone else brought him some water. They asked him to have a seat, and kept checking to see how he was and if they could do anything else to help. The manager even gave me her personal phone number. I assured her that this wasn't the store's fault. She understood, but still wanted me to have her number. Everyone there remained calm and knew exactly what to do. It was an extraordinary experience. I did use the manager's number to text her my heartfelt thanks, and also emailed the company's owners to tell them about the experience, and to praise the staff at the Wellesley store (as well as the customers, who were also extremely compassionate). Even if their pastries weren't so delicious, I would return the Quebrada in Wellesley forever because of how they handled this mishap. But their pastries ARE delicious, so you should go there and try some!

Chocolate Croissant: Great for people who are all about the chocolatey. Big chunks falling out. For people who are all about a proper croissant, the place down the street is far superior, unfortunately, and with better parking. The croissant here was soft, not flaky. Bendy, not brittle. Blueberry Muffin: Had this on a previous visit a year ago (not pictured). Much like the croissant, it was okay. Overall experience, just okay. Nothing wrong with it, but some bakeries have me thinking about what looked great in the case that I didn't have, and might have next time. Not the case here.

This is a cute bakery in the heart of Wellesley. I went there on Sunday morning at 10am, and while…read morethere was a line of 10 ahead of me, there was enough seating OUTSIDE for my party of 8 after piecing together two smaller tables. The avocado toast had two perfectly poached eggs on top of freshly mashed avocado with sprouts. A little more seasoning would have been my preference. The interior is bright and airy with white subway tiles lining the walls and a brilliant fall Sunday brunch location. It is not unlike other Tatte branches I have been to, but being in a super cute suburb of Boston makes it even better.

Came in for early lunch on a weekday and it was easy to find parking. There are plenty of outdoor…read moreseatings. Great if you want to bring your dog. I like the high ceiling but although the cafe looks pretty big, seatings inside seem limited. The tables were really small and close to each other. I ordered - Braised Short Rib & Eggplant Couscous Bowl - Maple Aleppo Chicken - Iced and hot Black Sesame Latte There is self served water and you pick up your own utensils. They also bring you your drinks as well as your food order. The short rib size was a bit small but ok value for $20. It tasted pretty good. I like the eggplants as well. Adding fresh pomegranate on top of it. Gave it refreshing touch. We were also visiting the area so I bought a souvenir mug. There was so no price $ on the rack and it was a bit expensive $25. At least I didn't need to pay for parking. The sesame latte is a seasonal drink. It was pretty good! We liked it.

I happened to be traveling…read morefor work and whenever I looked for a coffee shop on Yelp, Cafe Nero was the closest one and so I headed on over. It's located in Wellesley right at a T stop which I imagine is both good for Cafe Nero as well as good for riders who enjoy good coffee. In any case, the inside consists of a place to order your food, with displays for pastries and other goodies, and then a seating area behind that. I felt somewhat rushed here while ordering (maybe good for riders but not good for me on this morning) and ended up choosing a latte before adding on an almond croissant right before paying. My drink and pastry were ready quickly and I was on my way headed back to my office. I first tried the almond croissant which I thought was good. It was buttery and flaky with a nice almond flavor as you would expect. After that I tried the coffee which I also thought was good. It was deep and rich next to the milk and with a nice ratio, I could easily taste both. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I enjoyed both my coffee and croissant from here and just wish that I hadn't felt as rushed.
